Harmonic elimination by SPWM and THIPWM techniques applied in photovoltaic inverters SPWM和THIPWM技术在光伏逆变器中的谐波消除

With advances in solid-state power electronic devices, control techniques (PWM) have been devised to obtain high dynamics responses from a multilevel power conditioning converter-Photovoltaic. This work discusses the advantages and drawbacks of two different PWM techniques, the sinusoidal (SPWM) technique and the Third harmonic injection PWM (THIPWM) technique. These two methods are compared by discussing their ease of implementation and by analyzing the output harmonic spectra of various output voltage and their total harmonic distortion (THD). The focus of this paper is the simulation study of single-phase inverter, three phases, two levels and three levels inverter for application photovoltaic. Firstly, single phase is modeled with inductive load and their waveforms are observed. Secondly, a two levels inverter, and three levels inverter are leading to the high industrial performances of the drives synchronous, especially, if a high-power quality is requested.

Factual power loss reduction by enriched black hole algorithm 富黑洞算法降低实际功率损耗

This paper presents Enriched Black Hole Algorithm (EBHA) for solving optimal reactive power problem. In this work black hole algorithm based on membrane computing is projected. In Black Hole Algorithm evolution of the population is through pushing the candidates in the course of the most excellent candidate in iterations and black hole which swap with those in the search space. Membrane computing is also branded as P system and it has multisets of objects with evolution rules in the membrane structure. Membrane structure is alike ingrained tree of section that demarcate the areas, and root is labelled as skin. Chemical substances (Multisets of objects) are there inside the section (membranes) of a cell and the chemical reactions (evolution rules) that take place within the cell.  Proposed Enriched Black Hole Algorithm (EBHA) has been tested in standard IEEE 14,300 bus test system and simulation results show the projected algorithm reduced the real power loss comprehensively.

Analysis of a gas station hybridization with a solar thermal plant by using ETAP 利用ETAP分析某加油站与太阳能热电厂的杂交

The main reason for deficiency of electric power is due to less respect of analytical load flow studies of electric supply substation. To stop and overcome such situation in future, researchers should be analyzing different power substation focusing on load flow studies, short circuit studies and protection schemes. Due to lack of research and studies on load flow and fault analysis, Iraq is facing a lot of issues, such as power failures and high copper losses, solving of these problems on substation level, demand a high familiarity about the power system. In this paper we analyses combined typical gas station with solar thermal power station and survey load flow, short circuit, transient stability, and voltage drop before and after combined station by using electrical transient analyzer program (ETAP). Now a day’s power supply reliability and goodness are big interest. analyses of power system are a main part in power system designing and planning, in order to accommodate future loads and the expansion of cities.

Hybrid PSO-GSA algorithm-based optimal control strategy for performance enhancement of a grid-connected wind generator 基于混合PSO-GSA算法的并网风力发电机性能优化控制策略

As a result of the tremendous level of wind energy penetration in the existing network, massive efforts have been directed to enhance the grid-connected wind generator performance. This paper exhibits an application of a hybrid algorithm of the particle swarm optimization and the gravitational search algorithm (PSO-GSA) to enhance the transient stability of the grid-tied wind energy conversion system. The variable-speed wind turbine (VSWT) direct-drive permanent-magnet synchronous generator is connected to the network through a full-scale converter. The generator- and grid-side converters are controlled by using an optimum proportional-integral (PI) controller. The criterion of the integral squared error is utilized as an objective function. The PSO-GSA based-PI controller efficacy is validated by comparing its results with that are achieved by using the genetic algorithm (GA)-based-PI controller. The performance of the suggested control scheme is checked during various fault conditions. The control scheme quality is legalized by the simulation results that are achieved using MATLAB/Simulink program.

A novel impedance source fed H-type flying capacitor multilevel inverter 一种新型阻抗源馈电h型飞电容多电平逆变器

In this paper, simulation using MATLAB-SIMULINK is performed with bipolar triangular fixed amplitude multi-carrier Phase Disposition (PD) PWM strategy with sine wave, Third Harmonic Injection, 60 degree PWM and stepped wave reference for the chosen impedance Source based H-Type flying capacitor Multilevel Inverter (ISBH-Type FCMLI). The root mean square value of the fundamental component and THD of the output voltage which are the most important performance indices for the chosen inverter topologies are evaluated presented and compared for various references through duty ratios. From the simulation results it is observed that for various references the THD is almost similar but the root mean square value in terms of voltage is more for THI, 60 degree PWM and 60 degree reference with phase disposition strategy. The results are obtained for ma 1(over amplitude modulation index).

Spectral effects and determining the solar spectral distribution for Mugla and Ankara 穆拉和安卡拉的光谱效应和确定太阳光谱分布

Not only the theoretical calculation of the amount of solar radiation but also the characteristics of the light is very important in determining the efficiency of the PV module. There are no theoretical and experimental studies on this subject in Turkey until now. The amount of incoming radiation varies depending on the wavelength. The amount of radiation and the quality of the light in the atmosphere varies due to many atmospheric effects. The variation of the amount of incident radiation depending on the wavelength for different air mass values. Photovoltaic systems convert solar energy into electricity. The main part in this system is photovoltaic module which directly convert solar energy into electricity. So the material and the kind of photovoltaic modules are very important because they effect the cost directly. Besides this their electronic properties determine the amount of radiation coming to the surface. The amount of incoming radiation is reduced and the wavelength is changed by atmospheric factors. The determination of these effects is very important in calculating the amount of radiation and also for the electricity output. SPCTRL 2 calculates the amount of radiation coming from a number of atmospheric effects. In the program, the wavelength-dependent variation of the amount of radiation can be calculated considering the atmospheric effects for a desired region. In this study, the amounts of radiation coming to the surface having horizontal and different tilt angles were calculated for Mugla and Ankara. It has been found that the amounts of incoming radiation vary due to regional reasons.

Statistical t-test assessment on performance of power system stabilizer for oscillation damping 电力系统稳定器振荡阻尼性能的统计t检验评价

Received Apr 4, 2021 Revised May 27, 2021 Accepted Jun 15, 2021 The statistical operation is necessary to validate the analytical procedure since the most important common operation is the comparison of result data to quantify accuracy and precision. In this paper, a statistical process is proposed to ensure the impact of power system stabilizers (PSSs) in 202-bus, 40-machine MEPE test system. The eigenvalue analysis is utilized for detecting the lowest damping modes and evaluating the damping ratio of system oscillation, and these modes are applied as input for statistical analysis. A t-test analysis was performed on the difference of damping performance by proposed designed PSS, tuned PSS, and without PSS to support the hypothesis. The t-test results validated that the MEPE test system with designed PSS is most applicable for the improvement of oscillation damping in the power system.

The eigenvalue analysis is utilized for detecting the lowest damping modes and evaluating the damping ratio of system oscillation, and these modes are applied as input for statistical analysis. A t-test analysis was performed on the difference of damping performance by proposed designed PSS, tuned PSS, and without PSS to support the hypothesis. Synchonizing phasor measurement and STATCOM controller in power system stability enhancement 同步相量测量与STATCOM控制器在电力系统稳定性增强中的应用

This paper presents the concepts of Synchronizing Phasor Measurement (SPM) and its application in addition with a STATCOM controller in order to enhance dynamic stability of a multi-machine power system. The bus voltage under consideration is estimated in the form of digital signal by a Synchronizing Phasor Measurement Unit (SPMU). The DSP based output of the SPMU is then applied to a fixed structure PI type lead-lag digital STATCOM controller. The performance of this discrete-time digital controller is compared with its analog counterpart. The parameters of the analog controller are first tuned with a popular soft computation technique, Particle Swarm optimization (PSO) and later this controller is converted to digital one for simulation with DSP based outputs received from SPMU. The effectiveness of the design of the proposed control scheme is illustrated through time domain simulation of a proposed 3-machine, 9-bus test power system. The simulation results established that the Synchronizing Phasor Measurement based digital control system is more effective and resulting better performance than the continuous-time analog control system in power system stability improvement .

This paper analyzes a family of high step up single switch switched capacitor boost converters and Z-source/quasi Z-source dc-dc converters to provide high output dc voltage gain, a proper choice for photovoltaic applications. The operating principles, parameters design guideline of these converters are presented along with simulation results.

State of charge estimation by using extended Kalman filter based on improved open circuit voltage model 基于改进开路电压模型的扩展卡尔曼滤波电荷状态估计

This paper focuses on the state of charge estimation (SOC) for battery Li-ion. By modeling a battery based on the equivalent circuit model, the extended Kalman filter approach can be applied to estimate the battery SOC. An electrical battery model is developed in Matlab, Where the structure of the model is detailed by equations and blocks. The battery model has been validated from the experiment results. The comparison shows a good agreement in predicting the voltage, SOC estimation and the model performs better in SOC estimation.
