Today we can hear terms like sustainability in different connotations. It is a trend that manifests itself in all areas, not excluding social behavior. It is a topical issue that became interest of many scientists from different regions of the world. The aim of the research is to map students' attitudes towards social behavior. The material for the research was obtained from a questionnaire survey conducted during 2022 among full-time students of the Silesian University in Opava School of Business Administration in Karvina (SU SBA), Moravian-Silesian region, Czechia. Primary data were analyzed using SPSS software. The research investigation highlighted some alarming aspects of the development of young generation with regard to social behavior such as the importance of education in social behavior especially in higher education programs, lack of knowledge of social protocol and the skills to use it adequately in a given situation, or to be able to evaluate social behavior correctly in a communication partner, should be a matter of course for university students. The results are helpful for academics, the general public, managers, and other staff members who interact with customers in a variety of enterprises, not only those in the tourist sector. Ethics as a set of standards is important in all spheres of business. But if we are talking about services, the compliance must be much stricter.

This article presents a methodology for intelligence development based on the premise of emotive units at the lexical-phraseological level and the emotive content of professional-oriented texts. The methodology of emotional intelligence development for future English language teachers is based on the provisions of the emotional-conceptual approach which includes three stages of teaching: nomination, description and expression of emotions by means of a foreign language. Each stage involves four levels of teaching: presentation, practice, production and assessment. The content of emotional intelligence in ELT includes: subject, procedure and outcome components. Our significant achievements are qualitative and quantitative indicators of the general communicative and professional-communicative aspects of students’ emotional intelligence development. The purpose of the article is to create a scientifically-based methodology for the emotional intelligence development of future foreign language teachers in the process of professionally-oriented education. The objectives of the article are to: substantiate the structural-content and functional characteristics of emotional intelligence; create a methodology for emotional intelligence development in foreign language teachers and define qualitative and quantitative indicators of emotional intelligence development.

Despite the availability of vertical transmission prevention, treatment, and immunisation programmes for better health outcomes, children are still infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Those accessing treatment are either virally unsuppressed or have severe forms of diseases, while others have missed opportunities for vaccination. HIV infected children are vulnerable to infections, re-hospitalisation, and missing vaccinations. The study determined the disease profile, HIV prevalence, readmission, and immunisation status of children admitted to Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital in Northern Cape Province, South Africa. This was a retrospective review of 328 medical records of children less than 14 years, admitted from January 2017 to January 2018. The mean age was 3.6 years, and the majority were females. Most children presented with appetite loss and fatigue, and the most common admission diagnoses were lower respiratory tract infection and acute gastroenteritis. The prevalence of HIV in this group was 24%. Over 50% were readmitted, and 17% of those were HIV positive. Most HIV positive children (62%) had missed vaccinations, predominantly measles, and pneumococcal conjugate vaccines. Older children, those infected with HIV, and those who had missed the measles vaccine were significantly associated with readmission. Children of mothers with higher educational status who were either single or married were less likely to be readmitted compared to those with a lower education level and divorced parents. The rate of readmission is relatively high; therefore, improving care and scaling up catch-up immunisations for children, especially among HIV-infected, may offer them better protection and outcomes against vaccine-preventable diseases considering their risk for incomplete immunisation and infectious diseases.

Care and education leadership is the core of kindergarten directors’ leadership to promote the professional development of kindergarten teachers. According to the relevant literature on kindergarten directors' leadership, there are very few studies focusing on care and educational leadership. Therefore, this study is based on the professional requirements specified by the Professional Standards for Kindergarten Directors and compiles the "scale of care and education leadership for private kindergarten directors". After the project analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis and other tests, the scale has good reliability and validity. Then, 461 directors among private kindergartens in Hebei Province were investigated on this scale. The survey found that the overall level of care and education leadership among private kindergarten directors is good but the development is uneven. In addition, the development of the care and education leadership level of the private kindergarten directors shows an increasing trend with age. The higher the educational level, the higher the care and education leadership level. The kindergarten directors who have served for 6-10 years have the highest level of leadership in care and education. There are significant differences in the division of administrative regions where the kindergartens are located. The score of urban kindergarten directors is the highest followed by county directors and the score of rural kindergarten directors is the lowest.

This study aimed to evaluate the reliability and validity of the College Entrance Test (CET) used by a teacher education institution to assess the general and specialization knowledge of prospective students in English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. The Rasch model was employed to analyze the data collected from the sample of 250 test takers for the general knowledge test, 122 for specialization in English, 74 for Mathematics, 122 for science and 77 for Social Studies. The measurement analysis components including person and item reliability, unidimensionality, person-item map, fit statistics, Point Measure Correlation (PTMEA) and item local dependence were used. The study findings indicated that some test components had poor person reliability and the degree of item difficulty was higher than the students' abilities. There were also concerns about the conformity to the unidimensionality criteria, suggesting an analysis of items that might form another dimension in the constructs of the tests, although each of the items is independent. Furthermore, some items were misfitting or overfitting the Rasch model. In conclusion, the CET needs improvement to ensure its quality as a reliable and valid selection tool for the college. The study's results provide significant insights into the CET's strengths and weaknesses that can guide the test developers in revising and enhancing the CET to effectively measure the general and specialization knowledge of test takers in English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.

This study aimed to explore the relationship between daily self-reported health symptoms and mental health among respiratory patients during a high-pollution period in Thailand. A cross-sectional study was conducted at the pulmonary clinic of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand in February 2022. Patients with respiratory diseases were enrolled and asked to self-evaluate their health via ChulaAir mobile application. Daily respiratory symptoms were assessed using a checklist for a month. The DASS21 questionnaire was used to identify depression, anxiety, and stress at the end of the month. Binary logistic regression was performed to find the associations. A total of 98 patients participated in the study, and the prevalence of depression, anxiety, and stress was 30.6%, 28.6%, and 26.5%, respectively. Cough and Phlegm were the most common health symptoms during the high-pollution period. An increase in the number of days with self-reported sore eyes was associated with depression (AOR=1.307; p=0.001), anxiety (AOR=1.261; p=0.001), and stress (AOR=1.178; p=0.001). Health symptoms are related to the presence of depression, anxiety, and stress during the high-pollution period. For individuals with respiratory symptoms, measures are required to alleviate mental health problems.

Business performance describes the ability of the manager of the company to perform. In micro, small, and medium companies, the owners usually act as the managers. Ideally, this performance has to be improved. Moreover, to accommodate this intention, this study investigates the related factors, like entrepreneurial orientation (EO), product innovation (PI), and co-creation value (CCV). Hence, this study aims to investigate two effects. The first is the impact of EO and CCV on PI. The second is the influence of CCV and PI on business performance. Therefore, a quantitative design is employed to examine the hypothesis by referring to this circumstance. As samples, this study uses a purposive sampling method to select 60 owners of the creative culinary industry in West Java. Additionally, this study uses a survey to collect the data, and the variance-based structural equation model to analyze the data. After processing the data, the hypotheses are tested and discussed, this research demonstrates the positive effect of EO and CCV on PI. Furthermore, a positive relationship is found between CCV and PI, and business performance. As a practical implication, entrepreneurial orientation, product innovation, and co-creation value are essential qualities for business owners to improve business performance.

This study aims to investigate the level of logistical coordination and the state of coordination mechanisms in procurement activities among enterprises involved in supply chains. The research was conducted through a comparative analysis of statistical data obtained from a survey of businesses between July and October 2021.The study proposes a method for identifying general and individual performance indexes for partner companies' interactions by examining joint planning, synchronized documentation, coordinated operational procedures, and resource integration. This method is relevant to both logistics theory and the practical activities of supply chain participants. The research highlights the evolution of metrics used to evaluate the extent of coordination mechanisms employed by businesses in their procurement activities. Based on the selection criteria, an assessment scale is proposed to determine the level of logistical coordination in supply chain companies' procurement activities. The findings offer insights into the development of coordination mechanisms for organizations across various sectors (industrial, trading, freight forwarding), focusing on their scientific significance and impact on the competitiveness of consolidated supply chains. This study contributes to the literature by providing a comprehensive understanding of logistical coordination and coordination mechanisms in procurement activities among supply chain enterprises, as well as offering a practical assessment scale for evaluating logistical coordination levels.

Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs) are currently a matter of concern in the occupational world, where it is the leading cause of disability among workers. Food delivery riders were among the neglected workers even though they were highly exposed to the WMSDs. Thus, this study aims to quantify the magnitude of WMSDs among the riders and the impact on their work. This was a cross-sectional study involving 191 food delivery riders in Eastern Peninsular Malaysia. The Standardized Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (M-SNMQ), which was self-administered and validated for Malay translation, was used to quantify the prevalence of WMSDS based on various specific body regions. WMSD prevalence over a 12-month period was 74.9%. Upper back pain (UBP) (55.6%) and lower back pain (LBP) (73.3%) were the two most common body regions to experience WMSD symptoms. The least-complained body regions were thighs and feet, with a prevalence of 2.6% and 3.1%, respectively. The affected body regions that caused the highest daily life disturbance were the shoulders and knees, while those with shoulders symptom were more likely to be absent from work. Finally, LBP was the highest body region with at least a moderate pain score. In general, the findings should be a matter of concern among health authorities and others to improve the quality of life among the riders. To lower the prevalence of WMSDs among this understudied group, additional interventional research should be built on the findings of this study.
