This research was conducted as part of initial teacher education, more specifically in Teaching Practice courses in Physical Education I and II of the Bachelor's Degree in Physics of a Higher Education Institution (HEI). The main objective was to analyze which skills and abilities can be developed from the construction and completion of a short course of Astronomy with inserts of theater games in the formative process of future teachers of physics. The theoretical basis of part present a reflection on the competence of concepts and skills second Perrenoud (2000) and Perrenoud et al. (2001). We also review the concept of theatrical play, games and recreational activities in education, relation of theater and fun games along the following authors Spolin (2010a); Spolin (2010b); Koudela (2012); Kishimoto (2011); Hiuzinga (2012) and Bougere (1998). With regard to the teaching of Astronomy used as the theoretical Ortelan and Bretones (2011); Langhi and Nardi (2012), Bussi and Bretones (2013). This is a qualitative research, in which data were recorded from the monitoring of an astronomy short course, which was designed and developed in three modules in basic education school education of the public in the second half of 2014 and first half of 2015. data were recorded in a diary, recording audio and video. The systematization and analysis of the data were organized into three phases, according to Bardin (2011) and Moraes (1999): a) The pre-analysis; b) the operation of the material; and lastly, c) treating the outcomes: inference and interpretation. The results show that the licensees have overcome some existing concerns initially in its formative process, especially on theater games and entertainment and incorporated competencies and skills related to planning and development of astronomy short course. In conclusion, you can see that regardless of the obstacles faced and overcome during the stages of planning and development of the short course, undergraduates felt valued as professional teachers throughout the training process.
