The convergence of the Internet and traditional industries gives the birth to the crossover services, which break through the boundaries of domains, enterprises, and businesses. The design of the service pattern is one of the key points to the success of crossover services. Existing works are mainly aimed at resource and process convergence, unable to guide the design of whole crossover service. To address this issue, we propose a rule-based service pattern convergence framework for crossover service, which consists of participant convergence, resource convergence and service process convergence. In addition to summarizing the general rules of convergence, we introduce semantic similarity to promote deep pattern convergence. Finally, a case study is presented to prove the operability of this framework.

The recommendation system could mine the user's behavior operation data and provide different personalized recommendation services for different users. The problems of inaccurate and incomplete description of patients' needs in internet medical service have brought great challenges to the recommendation of internet medical service. This paper takes the medical service field as the research object to improve the collaborative filtering algorithm in the recommendation system. Firstly, the static evaluation model based on doctor entity and hospital entity is established by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) model to realize the initial distribution of weight. Then, based on the evaluation methods of doctors and hospitals, the user interest model is established and K-means clustering is carried out for users, and dynamic recommendation is carried out to users by combining collaborative filtering recommendation method. The experimental results show that the proposed collaborative filtering recommendation model based on user interest clustering has smaller error, better recommendation effect and more accurate recommendation.

Many anomaly detection algorithms have been provided as services for more convenient and efficient utilization in IoT era. Due to concept drift existed in dynamic IoT stream data, it is a changeling task to apply proper anomaly detection services at run time. For effective on-line anomalous data discovery, this paper proposes a service selection framework to dynamically select and configure anomaly detection services. A fast classification model based on XGBoost is trained to identify the pattern of various stream data, so that suitable service can be selected and configured according to the pattern of stream data. Extensive experiments on real and synthetic data sets show that our framework can select suitable service for different scenarios, and the accuracy of the chosen services outperforms state-of-the-art methods.

To cope with the long-tailed changes, an annotation-based BPM approach has been proposed to adapts its behavior in a timely manner. It patches existing business process models rather than rebuilds models from scratch, which saves efforts and reacts to unforeseen changes quickly. However, the original annotation-based approach is at risk of improper annotations added that results in unexpected effects or leads to failure. To remedy this loophole, this paper proposes a syntax-directed annotation approach to guarantee sound reactions. we develop a scheme for designing domain specific languages based on abstract syntax trees and generating a syntax-directed editor automatically. As a result, all patched annotations on the process models are soundness guaranteed in terms of the domain specific language. Case studies demonstrate that proposed approach and tools can help domain experts to tackle long-tailed changes more easily guarantee the correct reactions.

At present, in the “last mile” urban crowdsourcing distribution process, there are shortcomings such as unreasonable task assignment and unclear distribution path planning, which reduce the distribution efficiency and waste a lot of manpower and time. Aiming at these problems, this paper proposes a task scheduling scheme and mathematically models it. The optimization goal is to minimize the total distribution path length when all tasks are assigned. A variable neighborhood search algorithm (VNS) is designed, four neighborhood operations are constructed, and a selection probability is set for every neighborhood operation to reduce the solution time of the algorithm. In addition, a heuristic solving algorithm (HSA) is implemented as a comparison. The experimental results show that VNS has a higher solution quality in solving the urban crowdsourcing distribution task scheduling problem, and VNS can improve the scheduling efficiency of the urban crowdsourcing task.

Information service is always a hot topic especially when web is accessible anywhere. In university, lecture information is very import for students and teachers who want to take part in academic meetings. Therefore, lecture news extraction is an important and imperative task. Although many open information extraction methods have been proposed, but due to the highly heterogeneity of website, this task is still a challenge. In this manuscript, we propose a method based on fusing multiple features to locate lecture news in university web site. These features including the organization structure of lecture news catalog webpage, the visual similarity and the semantic of webpage. Services flourish drastically along with the trend of Everything as a Service (EaaS). Over the years, services have become more and more interconnected to facilitate trans-boundary collaboration in business and technology levels for creating and delivering distinct new values to customers. This phenomenon is called Internet of Services (IoS). IoS arises and evolves in terms of tremendous discrete decisions made by individual service stakeholders, and its structure and evolution show quite similar characteristics of the ones of natural ecosystems. We propose a novel multi-layer network model to describe the static structure and dynamic evolution traces of service ecosystems. Different from traditional models which are usually focused on specific service types and granularity levels, our model comprehensively covers the interconnections between stakeholders, services delivery channels, service functional and non-functional features and business domains. “Event” and “event chains” which are extracted from public news corpus are imported into the model as triggers of service ecosystem evolution and evolutionary relations are introduced into the model delineate evolution traces. Elements, relations, and application scenarios of this model are introduced in detail. Qualitative comparison with state-of-the-art models shows that our model has a higher degree of coverage of fine-grained elements/relations of service ecosystem and higher interpretability. Supplementary materials are provided to help understand how to build the model based on external data. In our opinion, this work lays a solid base for the exploration of structural characteristics and evolution laws of IoS.

The increasing number of available open services demands distributed architectures to promote scalability to enable their precise and efficient retrieval. As web services proliferate, it is more and more difficult to find suitable services and further compose them into complex applications automatically. In this paper, a novel service infrastructure named Service Network(ServNet), which is constructed on the basis of service routers and service switches, is proposed to deploy and manage large-scale services. Furthermore, the zone routing algorithm (ZRA) combines the advantages of the proactive and reactive approaches by maintaining an up-to-date topological map of a zone centered on each service node. Experimental evaluations confirmed the efficiency in terms of accuracy of query and network traffic.

“Transboundary” has become a common phenomenon in today's Internet-based service industries. Service providers are not only focused on their original business domains but also extend their attentions to other domains. By aggregating and orchestrating services from different domains to form complex innovative transboundary services, distinct new values are created and delivered to customers. Along with increasing interconnections among services from different domains, many novel transboundary service ecosystems (TSE) emerge. In this paper, we give a six-layered conceptual model for TSE, including atomic service layer, organization layer, region layer, inner-domain layer, cross-domain layer, and customer demand layer. Types of competitions and collaborations in TSE are elaborately refined. A set of ecological metrics for evaluating state of TSE constituents, state of TSE as a whole, and distribution of customer demands, are emphatically discussed. This work gives a high-level inspection on transboundary services from an ecological standpoint, and is of great significance for service providers to identify innovation opportunities in a service ecosystem, and for regulators to issue laws and regulations to guide the healthy development of transboundary service industries.
