The paper introduces a new and enhanced high capacity steganographic algorithm based on the original smart LSB pixel mapping and data rearrangement design. Throughout our research we've discovered that the best solutions for payload adaptation to the carrier image in our initial algorithms were found within the first 30 attempts, of which less than 4 have been improved during the evaluation and optimization stage. All others became redundant after a certain number of initial breeds (embedding solutions) have been generated. In this paper we introduce a more complex solution generator and evaluator that joins the iterative stages of the previous design for the purpose of optimizing and identifying the best solution in an earlier evaluation stage, while featuring an extended validation region than the original design. By focusing on reducing the image degradation in the embedding process with the original luminosity of the image as a quality metric, the algorithm is capable of maintaining even more of the original color quality. As outlined in the experimental results, this innovative new approach raises the logical visual and statistical imperceptibility of the resulting image therefore building an even stronger steganographic model.

The present paper presents specific issues that arise in Photovoltaic Energy Conversion Systems, being focused on maximizing the output power. There is proposed a model for Photovoltaic PV panel external characteristics. The coordinates of maximum power point are determined and used for imposing the appropriate load resistance to maximize the provided power. A comparison is made considering the classical control methods and the proposed optimized method, that prove better performances than methods based on output power measurement.

Software testing is essential part of the software development especially when the software has safety critical classification. In this paper authors introduce a method for select the right values and ranges for unit and functional testing. The key feature of this novel approach is that, test vectors can be ranked before selection in order to gain test time or quality. Fuzzy set theory is used for the ranking of the test sets. The introduced method presented on a example code, which helps the understanding of its basic principals. The authors take notes on the implementation of the test vector generation. Directions of further research are also discussed.

The paper establishes a preliminary pragmatic method to obtain the control strategy of an innovative small windgenerator prototype. There is presented the proposed structure of the considered wind energy conversion system, respectively its components and subsystems. There were considered the wind turbine, the generator, the electronic converters, the brake systems and their characteristics, being obtained theoretically or experimentally at components' construction works and at a dedicated laboratory model. Based on the components' characteristics and their operation restrictions, as well as on the wind speed variation intervals, there were established: start and stop conditions, the control law for the optimal wind turbine operation, wind speed variation domain and the corresponding control law from optimal operation regime to the rated one, the control methods and laws for great wind speeds, brake methods for different failure wind generator regimes.

This paper analyzes, by case study, the similarities and differences between two existing componentization techniques of a project in Web Dynpro ABAP: the faceless componentization and assistance class componentization, made possible due to the MVC architecture (Model-View-Controller), which are the basis of the Web Dynpro ABAP framework. We highlighted the similarities and differences, advantages and disadvantages.

Mobile broadband and Voice over IP communication improved considerably in the last years, but both technologies have been developed independently from each other. VoIP has special Quality of Service needs, among them mostly delay, jitter and packet loss could be critical in HSDPA networks. In this survey an HSDPA delay and packet loss analysis has been executed, based on VoIP traffic, using the live networks of Hungarian providers, to find out, whether the HSDPA networks are appropriate for VoIP communication or not. After 312 calls and more than three million analysed packets we found that HSDPA networks are not capable to provide interactive VoIP calls in the necessary and expected voice quality, because of the delay increasing for a short-time in upload direction quite often. Besides the primary results, a strong connection has been detected between the frame size and the one-way delay times in the radio access network.

Image feature based landmark detection is widely used in machine vision for mobile robotics applications. Advanced image feature extraction algorithms offer robust keypoint detection as being invariant to numerous transformations such as translation, rotation, scale change. Even slight changes in brightness, contrast or viewpoint do not affect feature point matching abilities. The most widely used advanced image feature extraction algorithms such as SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) and SURF (Speeded Up Robust Feature) both have these features. Both algorithms implement feature point detection and descriptor generation. Descriptor vectors are calculated around feature points to distinguish and match these points based on the image content. In the application of mobile robotics viewpoint invariance is essential. As the robot moves in its environment it must detect landmarks from widely different viewpoints to improve efficiency of SLAM algorithms. This is essential in loop closing situations. In this paper we evaluate a method to improve viewpoint invariance based on the additional data provided by range image sensors to supplement traditional feature extraction algorithms. Planes are extracted from range images based on local surface normal histograms and feature point matching is evaluated in viewpoint normalized image planes. We present a simulation framework and results for the selected algorithm. We compare feature point matching with and without the improvement.

The paper deals with clustering of text documents by neural networks. For representation of text documents is used the Vector Space (VS) model, which describes the text documents by VS matrix X. Multidimensional space of matrix X for text documents clustering requires the high computational complexity therefore it is needed of its reduction. In our approach for reduction of the text document space we used decomposition of multidimensional space of matrix X by projection into subspaces. The presented approach for creation of subspaces of multidimensional spaces uses the Projective Adaptive Resonance Theory (PART) neural network which enables this way of reduction of multidimensional text document space and also the text document clustering. Efficiency of clustering the text documents by subspaces of multidimensional space it is influenced by properties of PART and because of the optimal parameters of PART have to be set. Thanks to exact settings of distance and vigilance parameter of PART it is possible to find the clusters, their centers in the projective dimensions of subspaces and create outlier cluster for noisy data sets. The utilization of PART neural network to the text document clustering can easy discover the intrinsic clusters in used sets of documents.

In this paper, a variant for the pH control of the residual water from a foundry is presented. The blunting process of the residual water, being a distributed parameters one, is modeled using equations with partial derivatives. For the numerical simulation is used a method based on the matrix of the partial derivatives of the state vector (Mpdx) associated with Taylor series.
