Robust Direct Field Oriented Control of Induction Motors Using Adaptive Observer 基于自适应观测器的感应电机鲁棒直接场定向控制

This paper deals with the simultaneous estimation of the rotor flux and the rotor resistance of induction motors by a modified Luenberger observer. The proposed observer assumes that only the motor speed and the stator currents are measured. Its corrective terms are based on the derivative of stator currents. The use of the Lyapunov's theory for the flux observer stability analysis permits to give an adaptive law for the on-line rotor resistance estimation. This observer is combined with a direct field oriented control to achieve a robust speed and flux control. Simulation results are presented to evaluate the performances of this control-observer structure scheme

A comparative study on real-time simulation methods for PWM power converters PWM功率变换器实时仿真方法的比较研究

This paper presents a comparative study on various methods developed for real-time simulation of PWM converters. Characteristics and performances of the methods are analyzed and compared based on criteria such as accuracy, execution speed, stability, and implementation complexity. Several examples are presented to validate the analysis results.

A Three-Phase Shunt Active Power Filter for Damping of Harmonic Propagation in Power Distribution Systems 一种用于抑制配电系统谐波传播的三相并联有源电力滤波器

In recent years, harmonic resonance or harmonic propagation between line inductances and shunt capacitors installed for power factor correction, and so on has multiplied voltage and current harmonics in industrial power plants and utility power distribution systems. This paper presents a shunt active power filter to attenuate harmonic propagation resulting from series/parallel resonance between capacitors for power factor correction and line inductors in a power distribution line. The active power filter based on voltage detection is controlled in such a way as to present infinite impedance to the external circuit for the fundamental frequency, and as to exhibit low resistance for harmonic frequencies. When the active filter is installed on the end bus of the feeder, it successfully performs harmonic damping throughout the distribution line. Simulation results clarify that installation of the active filter acting as a harmonic terminator on the end bus of the feeder can damp out harmonic propagation throughout the feeder.

Smart Sensor, Smart Chair, Can it Predicts Your Sitting Posture? 智能传感器,智能椅子,能预测你的坐姿吗?

The main objective of this study is the application of body-seat interface shape and pressure measurements for the prediction of seating posture, such as trunk flexion angle and pelvic rotation angle. To investigate the relationship between pressure and interface shape and seating posture, 16 wheelchair users were recruited to sit in a wheelchair simulator. During seating, body pressure distribution and interface shape as well as their posture were measured. Using linear regression model, trunk, pelvic and thigh seating postures can be predicted with considerable accuracy based on interface shape and pressure information. Since pressure distribution and interface shape data provided quantitative and objective indices in measuring seating posture, the proposed method can be used for more effective wheelchair or automobile seating design and evaluation

New Electric Drive for Car Shredder 新型电动汽车碎纸机

This paper analyses performance aspects of a brushless double fed cage induction motor as a new driving alternative to the classical wound rotor induction motor used in a car shredder drive. It focuses in a real application of 3150 kW - 4160 V - 60 Hz - 514 rpm wound rotor induction motor. Firstly it analyses the car shredder duty and compares the performance of the two motors without a controller. The starting condition is analyzed and a Matlab/Simulink simulation is used to show the advantages of the brushless double fed cage induction motor over the classical wound rotor induction motor, in rated operation condition. The performance of the two drives is compared using the simulation results

Experimental Investigation of the Dynamical Response of a Hot-wire Anemometer Developed to Industrial Applications 用于工业应用的热线风速计动力响应的实验研究

This paper regards the experimental characterisation of the dynamical response of a home-made low cost constant-temperature hot-wire anemometer (CTA), developed for industrial and research applications. In order to evaluate the circuit dynamics, both a square-wave and a sine-wave have been imposed to the reference offset voltage of the anemometer for different operating conditions. A linear approximation of the CTA behavior was carried out by adjusting the transfer functions forms and constants. Results have shown that, depending on the particular conditions, a second or third order model should be used

Another objective is the development of an MPEG-7 library for annotating and presenting MPEG-7 documents. Perceptual Speech Enhancement Using Hilbert Transform 基于希尔伯特变换的感知语音增强

A new speech enhancement algorithm using a Hubert transform (HT) based time-frequency (TF) representation of speech signal with respect to human perception is proposed. TF representation is carried out by the means of analytic decomposition of speech signal in the hearing critical bands (CB) where the envelope and phase components of the analytic signals are used. For the purpose of enhancement the envelope in each CB is modified, based on the conventional spectral subtraction method, using a time varying gain function which takes into account the threshold of hearing. This threshold is calculated on the basis of masking effects of all bands using a perception model. Signal is reconstructed from the modified envelopes and the original phases of noisy signal in critical bands. Experimental results show that using the threshold of hearing in which temporal masking is included can effectively eliminate the musical noise without a significant decrease in intelligibility

Haptic System to Simulate Minimally Invasive Surgery 模拟微创手术的触觉系统

The goal of this project is to integrate a haptic device with 3-D models generated from radiological data to provide a simulation tool for arthroscopic surgery. A haptic tool having six-degrees of freedom is combined with a three dimensional model generated from MRI data to simulate the arthroscopic procedure used to treat patients with lesions in the articular cartilage. The force feedback capability of the haptic device is modified to simulate the feel that a surgeon experiences while performing an arthroscopic procedure

Transient Analysis of Three-Phase Non-linear Circuits by means of Homotopy Method 用同伦法分析三相非线性电路的暂态

In this paper a class of homotopy functions for transient analysis of non-linear circuits is described. This class of homotopy is based on the hypothesis that the modified nodal analysis is used to solve the circuit. The method is employed for the simulation of a three-phase converter. The results show the reduction of the iteration number to trace the waveforms of the circuital variables preserving the accuracy of numerical results
