Calibration of linear structured light system by planar checkerboard 平面棋盘法标定线性结构光系统

Linear structured light system is an increasing common means for acquiring three-dimensional geometry of objects due to its accuracy and robustness. Accuracy and less complexity of system calibration is a key challenge to future scanner designs. A calibration method by a planar checkerboard to minimize calibration complexity and cost is proposed. This method consists of two steps: the camera calibration with distortion and the projector calibration by plane properties. A simple system was designed and calibrated by this method, and a good 3D reconstruction quality is achieved by the calibrated system.

Finite element modeling of a thermally actuated polymer micro robotic gripper 热驱动聚合物微机器人抓取器的有限元建模

This paper describes the structural and thermal model of a thermally actuated polymer micro robotic gripper. The basic structure for the gripper is a trimorph thermal actuator with a platinum metal heater encapsulated by parylene C polymer layers. Due to the large difference of thermal expansion coefficients of the different layers, the actuator can be actuated with much large deflection. In this paper, we present a finite-element modeling of thermal and the thermo-mechanical behavior simulation of this kind gripper.

A survey of subpixel object localization for image measurement 图像测量中亚像素目标定位研究进展

Subpixel object localization plays the key role to advance the precision of image measurement system. In this paper, the main idea of the subpixel algorithm and the imaging process as the physical background, is introduced first. Then various subpixel algorithms classified by their location object are analyzed. In the end of paper, the research and prospect of subpixel is proposed.

Acquisition and control of temperature signal in the tumour heat-therapy instrument 肿瘤热疗仪中温度信号的采集与控制

In this article we introduce a new and advanced method - RF heat-therapy to treat the brain glioma. The design principle of instrument realizing this method is presented, furthermore we discuss in detail the function of respective module. The fuzzy control principle of system is also presented. At last we give the therapy result after treating with this instrument.

Application of self-tuning fuzzy PI+PD controller in joint DC servo motors of a four-leg robot 模糊PI+PD自整定控制器在四足机器人关节直流伺服电机中的应用

This paper introduces a self-tuning fuzzy PI+PD algorithm for processing the DC servo system of a four leg robot. The control process is online, of which the fuzzy rules are generated analytically. The inference and defuzzification of this fuzzy control method are based on phase plane and centroid, thus it costs less processing time. Through self-tuning gain and self-optimizing in the control process, the servo system of the robot is robust, and its control performance is also good.

Performance evaluation of industrial Ethernet and its modeling 工业以太网性能评价及其建模

The real-time industrial network, often referred to as fieldbus, is an important approach for building automated manufacturing system. However, the application of fieldbus has been limited due to the high cost of hardware, moreover, a number of different fieldbus standards and each of them providing specific features, and the difficulty in interfacing with multivendor products. So it is difficult in integrating various fieldbus on the manufacturing floor. In order to solve these problems, the networked control system based on Ethernet is presented, in other words, the industrial automation field adopts Ethernet (IEEE802.3). The key technical obstacle for Ethernet for industrial application is that its nondeterministic behavior makes it inadequate for real-time application where the frames containing real-time information such as control command and alarm signal have to be delivered within a certain time limit. This paper first presents a comprehensive analysis of the temporal characteristics of traditional Ethernet and a new model of the Ethernet application in industry process is introduced. Two methods for performance improvement are presented in this dissertation. The first method tunes the network system parameters such as the prioritization of different subsystems or nodes and the choice of different types of network protocols. The second method is to design an optimal (LQG) controller on the premise of both theorems are derived based on Lyapunov's second method aimed the stability of the NCS based on Ethernet. At last, a scheme based on LQG controller is designed to achieve desired real-time performance. The result illustrate that the effectiveness of the proposed control design and the satisfactory performance of the system.

A university portal is a one-stop client-oriented Web site that personalizes the portal's tools and information to the specific needs and characteristics of the person visiting the site, using information from university databases. A well-implemented university portal can offer a number of benefits to a user of the system. It is the only one place to get information, and it can provide a standard set of tools. The visitors can globally gain access to their information. The information available in a portal is personalized and customized. This article gives an overview of a university information portal, including its benefits, its requirements and its architecture. It introduces a requirement gathering methodology for university portal to build a useful system. Also, it indicates the core functions of a university portal and its architecture.

A method for text information acquisition based on Bayesian network 一种基于贝叶斯网络的文本信息获取方法

It is proposed an algorithm, which is on the basis of VGH location method, for text location in complex settings based on Bayesian networks to deal with the uncertainty problems. In this article, we use Bayesian networks to set the statistical relations between features and text objects and analyze probability of text existence. We design three kinds of Bayesian networks to identify regularities of convex peak or concave valley and text existence, and obtain the condition probability tables through condition expectation learning algorithm. The experiment results show efficiency of algorithm.

3D CT simulation and treatment planning system for radiotherapy (3D CT-Sim and RTPS) is a kind of computer aided therapy system. It is composed of computer tomography, laser alignment system, treatment planning system and linear accelerator. At first, 3D CT-Sim and RTPS's configurations and principles of each part are introduced in detail in the paper. Then the actualization steps of surgery using 3D CT-Sim and RTPS are recounted. At last advantages of 3D CT-Sim and RTPS and it's significance in computer aided therapy area are pointed out.

How to determine the appropriate size of an artificial neural networks, it has usually been done through educated guess, which either wastes time or has no rule. In this paper, based on learning algorithm of neural network, dynamic neural network corresponding to extracting new features from the input and output attributes is constructed.
