Talent is the product of capability (skills, education, training, and knowledge), attached with motivation (assignation, gratification, challenge, and well-being) and opportunity (H.G. van Dijk, October 2008). An integrated strategic approach to managing careers involves attracting, retaining, developing, and transitioning people within the organization (Valamis, 2021). The world of knowledge-intensive business considers human resources to be rare and unique. According to most experts, the sector of talent management does not have a clear sense of dimensions, terminology, and a theoretical framework. The goal of this study paper is to investigate and conclude how select hotels in Jharkhand handle and differentiate their staff management operations in terms of talent recruitment and retention. Hotels in Jharkhand use a range of approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of their actions and initiatives, including an overview of how they treat an employee and how they plan to continue to innovate to measure the success of their actions and projects? Additionally, their approach needs to be more inclusive. The findings would be significant for managers who recruit and manage employees, hoteliers, and higher education institutions dealing with the industry's skills gap.

High rate of increase in the prices of cement is worrisome and become burden to people in the entire construction industry. Researchers, civil engineers, builders, architects and all concerns parties in the building industry are desperate for any suitable and effective but cheaper materials that can replace cement. There is need to find an alternative binding material that can be used mainly or in partial replacement of cement. The materials used were sourced from Bida town, Niger state, Nigeria. Wood ash and cassava peel ash were obtained after burning in the furnace at National Cereal Research Institute Badeggi, Bida into ash and passed through 75 micro meter sieve to the finest texture. The water use for the work was free from impurities. The comparative study on the compressive strength of concrete when OPC was partially replaced independently by some percentage of cassava peel ash (C.P.A) and wood ash (W.A) using 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% on both materials, 0.5 water-cement ratio and mixed design ration of 1:2:4. The mean strength of concrete at control is 0% (27.11N/mm2), 5% (24.44N/mm2), 10% (23.25N/mm2), 15% (23.36N/mm2), 20% (18.52N/mm2) and 25% (15.93N/mm2). 25% replacement of cement has the lowest mean strength at 28 days. Replacement at 5, 10 15% are within specification of (20N/mm2) for plain concrete while 20 and 25% are not suitable for structural concrete. The higher the pozzolanic material added to the cement in concrete production the lower the strength. The effects of Cassava Peel Ash and Wood Ash as environment pollution can be reduced when utilized as part of cement in concrete production.

Entrepreneurship is the process of implementing innovative business ideas into reality and also provide solutions to challenges which may arise. There is separate dedicated team in an organization which will help the individuals to give their latest and new ideas for startups or idea of new technique and help them to convert it in reality. The team will identify all the risks that are related to that particular idea and provide solutions and helps the business to make profits. There are many types of entrepreneurships which will be discussed in detail in this paper. In order to implement new innovative ideas, the entrepreneurs will perform risk analysis and follows life cycle process and turn the idea into reality. Nonprofit organizations in India represent a significant portion and they make a strong contribution to the economic wellbeing of our country. The human resources are vital for achieving the sustainable growth and development of organization. Firstly, objective is to analyze the workforce perception of NPOs towards the HRD practices of NPO. Secondly, the amount of FCR and FCU by NPOs are analyzed and compared. Thirdly, the efficiency of NPOs is measured based on their HRD practices. Lastly the impact of HRD practices on the efficiency of NPOs are measured. Based on the objective’s hypothesis were formulated and tested. The study found that the NPO’s workforce has positively perceived HRD practices followed in their organization. The respondents have agreed and given a positive opinion towards the HRD practices viz., appraisal system, Training and development, career development and recognition, and organizational environment followed in their organizations. The study found that HRD practices have a significant positive impact on the development of NPOs in Karnataka. Large-sized NPOs are generating larger amount, whereas small-sized NPOs are acquiring lesser number of foreign contributions. NPOs with better HRD practices are efficient in utilizing the foreign contributions received by them. The efficiency of the NPOs increases as they adapt better HRD practices, and the efficiency of NPOs decrease as they ignore HRD practices.

Steels exhibiting ultralow sulfur content tend to gain increasing usage or application in manufacturing pipes used in oil transportation, as well as offshore platform construction. For these systems or platforms, it is worth indicating that they call for high resistance and impact strength relative to the formation of lamellar cracks. In this study, it was documented that when a refinery is compromised, the resultant fluids that are released tend to cause a loss in the refinery’s transportation capability. This outcome suggests that there is likely to be a decrease in the efficiency of transmission. Notably, the study examined the extent to which a leak presence affects flow behavior in the context of annular mist flow regime’s deep water production flow line. Another context that was investigated involved slug and stratified flow regimes. From the results, given the slug and annular flow regimes, any leakage could alter the pattern of material flow.

The proposed business project seeks to ensure that at Monroe College’s Bronx Campus, the Jag Café emerges as a moderately priced restaurant offering convenience and promising breakfast and lunch experiences for students, faculty, and other individuals both in the campus community and in the neighborhood. Particularly, the proposed project involves the adoption and implementation of a new menu aimed at achieving family style services, food, and beverages. The proposal comes at a time when the cafeteria’s current menu is long and proves inconvenient in relation to the rate of order turnover. The location of the project is Kings Hall. Indeed, some of the anticipated and unexpected costs predicted to come with the new menu include the need to train employees and also ensure that several materials are in place to accommodate the new menu, and also ensure that the required raw materials and food preparation facilities are in place. However, the three-year sales project suggests that the financial benefits that might accrue from this project’s implementation are likely to outweigh the perceived costs. As such, the project is worth supporting because it not only promises profitability but also strives to make the Jag Café a place with quality meals at reasonable prices in the Bronx, as well as evolve as a home-style cafeteria in the campus.

Voting is arguably the most important as well as elementary right in democracy that has existed for the past hundreds of years; it has taken place in the context of a large- and small-scale community. The process transitioned from paper ballots to electronic voting machines (EVM) in the late 20th century, but even with all the advancement, transparency in the election process remained the same. Blockchain technology came in existence in 2008 with the introduction of Bitcoin by Satoshi Nakamoto, and in the last decade we saw enormous growth in development and execution of this technology in various fields e-voting is one of them, blockchain-based e-voting system has potential to improve the election process if utilized to its potential. Blockchain can eliminate the need to print ballot paper as it is secure, immutable and convenient to voters and can make elections more transparent.

The dynamic nature of business marketing in various parts of the world and industries is associated with a quest to achieve or attain and retain competitive advantages. With such advantages coming in the form of increased product user bases, a majority of the firms have ended up embracing business internationalization to stretch beyond local and regional borders within which they are based. With these efforts associated with improved company performances, Wal-Mart has been unexceptional. The effort to retain a competitive advantage and superior brand image across the world has been evidenced by its recent merger with Massmart, a South African company that owns brands such as Builder’s Warehouse, Makro, and Game. It is also worth highlighting that Massmart is South Africa’s second largest distributor of consumer goods and remains the largest retailer dealing in basic foods, liquor and home improvement equipment, and general merchandise. This paper examines the merger between Wal-Mart and Massmart, focusing on issues such as the international market analysis of the retail industry, aspects of product category and demand size, and competition analysis. In so doing, resultant recommendations might give an insight into current trends in business marketing strategies that embrace mergers, as well as lay an opportunity for improvement in the Walmart-Massmart merger and others at the intra-industry and inter-industry level.

In this communication strategy, ideal audiences that are perceived to yield an effective influence of the stakeholders include national security or intelligence groups, as well as external firms that engage in regular monitoring of user information systems in collaboration with Visa’s internal group of experts. Indeed, the role of the national intelligence group(s) lies in addressing potential legal liabilities that could arise from any customer complaints relating to communication failures or lapses when malicious activities are detected. Similarly, the national intelligence group acts as a regulator to check trends in Visa Inc.’s conformity to standards shaping the state of communication about user information (in terms of frequency) and advising about some of the emerging technologies or platforms that ought to be incorporated to foster inclusivity and reach out to as many customer bases as possible. On the other hand, external firms responsible for regular monitoring of user information will play the role of examining some of the strengths of the communication strategies outlined and advising about possible improvements that could be made to avoid lapses regarding the duration and frequency of updates to the customers. It is also worth noting that the general public forms another audience group that the formulated strategy seeks to involve because this group plays a significant role of airing views about possible improvements that could be made to the company’s current communication goals. An ideal communication platform through which views from members of the public could be received and enacted accordingly is the social media, a trend that prompts Visa to have open forums from which these members could be allowed to channel their views about the merits and demerits accruing from the communication goals and their eventual implementation.
