Geros mokyklos pažangos sampratos naratyvas

The definition of a good school depends not only on who defines it, but also on the purpose, programmes, society opinion under which it is defined. In a society, the definition of a good school usually includes various concepts. In the article the qualitative and quantitative research is presented,, which was based on the methodological provisions and theoretical assumptions of social constructivism. The research was conducted in 2018 January–April. When analyzing the conception of a good school, we must remember the fact that school is an organization operating in a complex and changing social environment and involving many different society groups, such as school administration, teachers, students, parents and other society. Therefore, the research involved 6–12 class students, teachers, school administration. The subject of the article is the concept of school progress with regard to the conception of a good school expressed by teachers, pupils and their parents and experts. Research method: analysis of scientific literature, documents and research. The aim of the article is to draw the concept of good school progress. The article is an introduction to the empirical research, analyzed by the Good School from V. Targamadzė, G. Žibėnienė and J. Cesnavicienė, in 2018. Educational outcomes (student’s maturity, progress, achievements) and school life experiences, education (learning) are not harmonious, according to interview participants and expert answers. This is especially important in creating a good school. The results of all three phases of the survey indicate a lack of agreement among the school community on the creation of a good school.

Z kartos vertybinis portretas – vartotojiškos visuomenės atspindys

The current article focuses on Z generation youth and the peculiarities of their values. The first part of the article addresses the essence of consumer society emphasizing such constituents as values and provisions, consumerist behaviour and personal identity. The second part presents the research results of 2016. In present times, we are consumers living in consumer society. A particular role is ascribed to Generation Z in consumer society (persons born after 1995). The accomplished research demonstrates that these youths are characterised by disorientation, apathy, flouncing between the acceptable and imposed values, whereas consumption becomes one of the key bases for individual lifestyle. According to the British sociologist A. Giddens, members of consumer society value individualism, yet they also appreciate group dependence, i.e. they seek to be like others. Consumer society has a unique culture that provides new experiences and pleasure. Our research reveals that although Generation Z displays features of consumer society, it is not homogeneous. Its provisions related to consumption are affected by values, capitals etc. The Polish sociologist Z. Baumann claims that not all people have everything to make their choices, i.e. not all people can become consumers. Keywords: generation Z, consumer society, consumerism, values, personal identity.

Socialinės globos įstaigų, dirbančių su senyvo amžiaus asmenimis, teikiamų paslaugų kokybės vertinimas

After having analyzed the quality assessment models, it has become clear that EQUASS quality system in the EU countries is recognized as the most suitable one in the social sector. In order to collect empirical data, in 2017 quantitative study was carried out. The method of the research was a questionnaire survey. The quality of social services is assessed and the questionnaire is based on the EQUASS methodology. This methodology reveals the strengths and weaknesses of services. EQUASS system and the questionnaire prepared includes 10 quality principles: 1. Leadership; 2. Personnel; 3. Rights; 4. Ethics; 5. Partnership; 6. Participation; 7. Personal orientation; 8. Complexity; 9. Performance orientation; 10. Continuous improvement. All the principles enlisted are based on the European Quality Assurance System in Social Services. Research subjects – employees of social welfare institutions providing long-term/ short-term social care services for the elderly in Lithuania according to the list of occupations of employees in the field of social services (2014). The research involved 105 heads of institutions, 122 social workers, 36 employment specialists and 78 social work assistants working in social care institutions providing services for the elderly people. The SPSS data processing program is used to analyze the research data. The results of the research showed that according to the subjective assessment of the research participants, in general the overall level of service quality in social care institutions working with elderly people is quite high. The quality of social care home care services is mostly related to orientation to person, leadership, rights and ethics, and, to a lesser extent, to complexity, personnel, performance orientation, continuous improvement and participation, and the least to the partnership. Care homes employees of different positions similarly evaluate the overall quality, the response rates vary slightly. The vast majority of respondents indicate that social services provided in their care institutions are sufficient. A majority of respondents evaluate the general and special services very well and well. The analysis of the results of the research revealed that according the vast majority (85.6%) of the research subjects, the quality of the social services provided by the institution can be improved; the heads of the institutions hold this opinion considerably more often than the employees of other posts.

Pedagogų poreikio prognozavimo sistema

Pedagogų poreikio prognozavimo sistemą1 analizavo Lietuvos Respublikos Vyriausybės kanceliarija, LR švietimo ir mokslo ministerija, MOSTA, Europos Komisija bei tyrimo ekspertai. 2018 m. birželio 28 d. buvo pristatyti pedagogų poreikio prognozavimo sistemos rezultatai ir pedagogų poreikio darbo rinkoje prognozės. Kai kurie analizės rezultatai gilesnių tyrimų kaip ir nereikalavo, nes konstatuojama, kad pedagoginį darbą dirbančių asmenų populiacija sparčiai sensta, o stojančiųjų į pedagogo kvalifikaciją teikiančias studijas skaičius mažėja. Todėl analitikai kėlė prielaidą, kad pensijos amžių pasiekusių pedagogų nepakeis nauja karta. Tokią hipotezę kelia Mokslo ir studijų stebėsenos ir analizės centro (MOSTA) analitikai, pristatę pedagogų poreikio prognozavimo modelį2. Pasak MOSTA Studijų politikos ir karjeros analizės skyriaus vadovo Gintauto Jakšto, priežasčių skirti daugiau dėmesio pedagogų planavimui yra ir daugiau. „2012 m. pedagogikos krypties bakalauro studijas baigė beveik 2 400 absolventų, pernai – vos 800. Tik mažiau nei pusė pedagogo kvalifikaciją įgijusių absolventų dirba mokytojais. Per penkerius metus paruošėme beveik 1 200 kūno kultūros mokytojų ir vos 32 asmenis, galinčius dirbti chemijos mokytojais. O jei pažvelgtume į Lietuvos žemėlapį matytume, kad net trečdalyje savivaldybių didžiausią dalį dirbančių pensinio amžiaus mokytojų sudaro būtent chemijos mokytojai“, – sako G. Jakštas. Nustatant pedagogų paklausą, derinami mokinių ir pedagogų kaitos kintamieji rodikliai bei numatomi diegiamų politikos priemonių rezultatai. Pedagogų pasiūlos nustatymas apima rengiamų studentų, nekvalifikuotų pedagogų ir neaktyvių pedagogų skaičių. Planuojant pedagogų poreikį, pasak MOSTOS analitikų, svarbu atsižvelgti ir į tokius veiksnius kaip migracija bei gimstamumas. Modelis apima mokytojų amžiaus kaitos tendencijas, tikėtinas pasitraukimo iš sistemos galimybes, skirtumus tarp savivaldybių, miesto ir kaimo mokyklų, mokinių

Per penkerius metus paruošėme beveik 1 200 kūno kultūros mokytojų ir vos 32 asmenis, galinčius dirbti chemijos mokytojais. One of the main tasks of each country is to foster economic development. The economic development creates preconditions for the country to stay competitive, to properly use the labour force and to ensure the growth of gross domestic product. It follows that the assessment of country‘s competitiveness is one of the major objectives of economic science and tasks addressed by the economists. The object of the research – the economic development as the way to ensure the country‘s competitiveness. The purpose of this article – to assess the economic development of Lithuania in 2005–2015 years. To achieve this objective the main tasks are formulated: to analyse the scientific literature in the area of the economic development, to assess the economic development of Lithuania and to make the proposals of the promotion of economic development. The following research methods have been applied: the analysis of scientific literature, both the theoretical and practical claims matching methods, the analysis of statistical data and the calculation of total factor productivity. Keywords: gross domestic product; labour; economic development; capital; competitiveness; productivity.

Media sentiment analysis for measuring perceived trust in government 媒体情绪分析测量对政府的信任

Anotation. This study employs sentiment analysis of articles published in popular Lithuanian media outlets in an attempt to determine the citizens’ trust in the Lithuanian government at a given time. Based on the classical political theory by Thomas Hobbes and contemporary political theories of divisionary politics and the “rally ‘round the flag” effect, it is hypothesized that with an increased sense of insecurity, the population puts more trust into their government. The hypothesis is tested by examining the sentiment expressed in articles concerning governmental affairs published in Lithuanian media and the user-generated comments published on Facebook for the period of six months prior to and after March 2014 – Russia’s annexation of Crimea, an event that created a sense of fear among the Lithuanian public. The analysis of the gathered data found that the decrease in sentiment towards Russia correlated with an increase in the sentiment towards the government of Lithuania in conventional media. The analysis of Facebook comments suggested the same result, but overall was inconclusive.
