In many health facilities, patients wait for long time before they are attended to by the health personnel. This trend is increasing and it is a potential threat to healthcare services. In Indonesia, health facilities with large number of patients such as general hospital, private clinic, private hospital, and community health centre have cases where patients may not be serviced on time while others may end up going home without receiving medical services. In this paper, an efficient queuing model for proper queueing system is proposed as the solution to the long waiting times in these health facilities. From those problems, we need a technology to facilitate patient in doing the queue. In this research, queue theories are studied, and a queue application as a web application is designed. The user of queue application is divided into two sides, the patients who register and queue and the operator who manage the patient data and queue data. The output of this application is to make the queue system that can be done online in every department in health facilities, the patients queue data is displayed in screens so that the patients could know who is being treated and how may people left before the patient is called. A notification feature also provided so that when a queue number is called the patients received a notification to soon be able to return to the location of the doctor. The application is designed as a module so that it can be integrated with other module in Health Information System for future research. By Implementing such system hopefully service effectiveness and efficiency will be improved and patients' satisfaction can be increased.

The integration of renewable energy technologies in power systems causes a significant change in the electromechanical and electromagnetic properties of these systems. Consequently, the steady state and dynamic performances of power systems are altered due to the presence of these technologies. Therefore, the conclusions derived from the conventional system structures need to be updated. Recently, wind energy presented a worldwide major source of renewable energy. The performance of the generating subsystem is not only affected by the technologies of the generators, but also the dynamics of the network and load components. Since the majority of network components is passive elements, the loads, presents the most impacting subsystems on the performance of power systems. This paper presents a detailed analysis of the steady state and dynamic performances of power systems as affected by Wind energy conversion technologies (WECTs), and composite load structures and models. The results are compared with the performances of the conventional synchronous generators. The results presented in the paper provide evidences of the strengths and weaknesses in power systems caused by the presence of various WECTs. In addition, the results show the capability of various WECTs to match the classical distinct performances of conventional synchronous generators.

Along with the rapid technological developments led to more effective and efficient processing machinery in producing goods and services but the bad news of the sector is the waste and pollution it produces. Pollutants from settlements and industries can cause water quality degradation, causing distress and disturbance to the ecosystem. Water quality evaluation has a critical role in environmental management and decision-making, gives a scientific principle to protect water resources. Therefore, this study explores ANFIS-CSO for classification of water river basin. This study demonstrated that ANFIS-CSO technique is effective for water river classification. On the basis of analysis, the results verify that the ANFIS-CSO achieved high accuracy for solving problems of water river quality classification.

The regulation of balancing humanoid robots on certain media was being developed in several studies. The objective of this research is to maintain the balance of humanoid robot by applying gyroscope and accelerometer sensors. The research method used was experiments using both sensors where the robot is placed on a variety of pedestals. Both sensors were taken in value, then processed to generate Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) values for the CM530 controller that used to drive the servo motors that exist in the humanoid robot. Movement of servo motors produced would place the robot in balanced condition when robot stand up straight or move. The gyroscope and accelerometer sensors together with Proportional-Derivative (PD) control used to maintain the balance as it moved forward, turn left, turn right and moved backwards on the tiled floor and green carpet. Meanwhile, to move on synthetic grass, it was still need to adjust again with robot construction.

The increase of electricity demand requires the improvement of utility service and operating performance of substations and the related equipment. It is to anticipate various possible faults, including short-circuit faults. Air-core reactors, fuses and circuit breakers are among the protection equipment commonly used to handle the short-circuit faults. However, those protection devices are in general only able to respond and to become active in two or three cycles after the faults occurrence. This paper presents a study to examine the use of Fault Current Limiter (FCL) for providing the response in less than two cycle of fault current. The FCL is principally a variable impedance which is connected in series with the circuit breaker to limit the short-circuit current in a substation. The results of study on a distribution system taken as a sample case indicate that the use of FCL provides an active response which could be achieved in the first-half of the disturbance. It could lower the current level as much as 62.44% in case of line to ground fault, 60.70% in case of line to line fault, whereas in case of double line and triple line to ground faults the reduction could reach 61.46% and 61.35%, respectively.

This study aimed to decrease risk of falls via displacement of the axilla during crutch walking. An axillary force feedback system is developed for providing a visual information to crutch users. An imbalance point is existed between the force of the upper arm on the axillary pad and the force of the chest wall on the axillary pad. Moreover, the system also provides real-time information on force placed on axillary pads during crutch walking and evaluated the effectiveness of our training system. Results suggested that this feedback system was effective for beginners.

Inflation is very influential on the national economy. The monetary crisis can occur if inflation is not well controlled. For that, it takes a forecasting. Inflation rate forecasting can predict future country situation based on historical data. This study proposes two hybrid Fuzzy logic-Neural network methods to predict inflation rate in Indonesia. Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and Neural Fuzzy System (NFS) were chosen because both methods are hybrid Fuzzy logic-Neural network with different architecture. This study aims to find the method that has the best performance. Time series data and some external factors (CPI, Money Supply, BI Rate, Exchange Rate) are used as parameters. Proper Neural Network (NN) architecture must be found to produce high accuracy. Therefore, some tests (learning rate, epoch, neuron) are performed. The best method is chosen based on the level of accuracy produced by using Root Mean Square Error analysis technique. The results show that NFS has better performance with accuracy (RMSE=1.213) than ANFIS.

In Indonesia, in order to maximize its academic potential, high school students need to be grouped in classes based on their interests and talents. Three commonly made groups are natural science, social science, and linguistics. Problems can arise in the future when students experience a change of interest. One of the cases is that there are students who previously belonged to the group of natural science classes interested in continuing studies in higher education in the field of language and literature. This study aims to assist students with such cases by predicting the likelihood of their success adapting to new environments. Predictions are based on input data on students' activities and skills related to the language field. The Naive Bayes method is used with the input of a number of attributes, including the national exam score of Indonesian and English language, the average of the national exam score, the presence or absence of language-related achievements, and the number of books read each month. Converted GPAs in ordinal form are selected as outputs in the case of this prediction. The results shows that the accuracy of this technique reaches 70 percent, so it can be interpreted that the Naive Bayes method has the potential to answer the question of whether a student can adapt and perform well while studying in language and literature faculty.

As a higher education institution, knowing which GPA of the semester has the most determinant to affecting the academic performance of students is important yet challenging. Therefore, this paper deliberates the usage of rough set theory based Maximum Dependency Attributes (MDA). The dataset is taken from the Directorate of Information Systems (SISFO), Telkom University. The result showed that the most determinant attribute is 2th GPA, followed with 3rd GPA, Entrance Examination, 1st GPA, Academic Aptitude Test, and 4th GPA, respectively. By early knowing the most determinant attribute in which score of the m, a well-planned strategic program can be set during the institution academic study period.

Photovoltaic output voltage strongly depends on the solar irradiance and temperature. From this point of view, it is not possible to connect the PV panels and load directly. DC/DC boost converter is needed to regulate the output voltage. However, to control DC/DC boost converter is very challenging and not an easy task, since it deals with nonlinearity and non-minimum phase system. The unknown varying output voltage of the photovoltaic and unknown load resistance are common problems that needs to be considered. This paper presents modified adaptive sliding mode controller, in which adaptation mechanism is incorporated in observer designing. Observer is designed in order to estimate the unknown but bounded input voltage and load resistance. Furthermore, the controller is designed by employing PI sliding surface to eliminate steady state error under varying parameters and disturbances and to provide fast-transient response. By using this proposed configuration, the control performance is improved. The proposed method have been successfully proved by using Lyapunov theory to ensure its stability. The simulation results show that the proposed strategy can improve the voltage control of boost converter in various conditions.
