Job Embeddedness: a Strategy to Reduce Voluntary Turnover Intention 工作嵌入:降低自愿离职倾向的策略

This study examines the relationship between Job Embeddedness and Job Insecurity to voluntary turnover intention and job performance. The sample of this study were 209 respondents from permanent or contract employees who worked as secretaries, clerical or administrative personnel in government or private offices in Central Java, Indonesia. This study used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) for hypothesis testing. Result of this job insecurity cannot be used to predict voluntary turnover intention or job performance. Job embeddedness is divided into three types, namely job embeddedness link, job embeddedness fit, and job embeddedness sacrifice. Job Embeddedness link and Job Embeddedness fit have no effect on voluntary turnover intention, but they can be used to predict job performance. In contrast, Job embeddedness sacrifice has an effect on voluntary turnover intention but cannot be used to predict job performance. Voluntary turnover intention proved able to be used to predict job performance.

Information Technology as a Strategic Resource in Encouraging Organizational Change Readiness through the Role of the Human Capital Effectiveness 信息技术作为一种战略资源,通过人力资本有效性的作用来促进组织变革准备

The application of technology will have a direct strategic impact on the organization. Information technology in the context of infrastructure refers to applications used to create, process, store, and disseminate knowledge to organizations. The capability of information technology will encourage the effectiveness of organizations in creating a competitive advantage. The research direction is to uncover the influence of Information Technology Capability (ITC) on Readiness to Change (RTC) of organizations mediated by the existence of the role of Leadership and Human Capital Effectiveness (HCE). These two big concepts are offered to bridge the research gap. The research sample was 166 design-based fashion manufacture industry in Central Java at the organizational level, consist of 49 males and 117 females respectively. Testing through the Structural Equation Model shows that Information Technology Capability (ITC) has an indirect influence on Readiness to Change (RTC) through Human Capital Effectiveness (HCE) which is greater than through Leadership and HCE.

This study aims to examined the effect of e-commerce, digital marketing, and consumer prestige on instant online buying decisions with perceived quality as an intervening variable on millennial generation. This research used survey design with purposive sampling. This research was conducted on 152 students in Yogyakarta who had already done online shopping in the marketplace. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Analysis Moment Structure (AMOS). This research proves that there is a positive influence on the use of e-commerce, digital marketing, and prestige on instant online buying decisions of consumers with perceived quality as an intervening variable on millennial consumers. The direct factor that influences instant online buying decisions is perceived quality, while e-commerce, digital marketing and prestige have an indirect effect on instant online buying because they have to pass through perceived quality. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed later.

Narcissism, Entrepreneurial Learning and Entrepreneurial Failure 自恋、创业学习与创业失败

This study evidences that psychological construct in terms of narcissistic behavior through an excessive use of social media will not boost entrepreneurs to learn from past failure experiences in business. By considering excessive narcissism through social media as a personality disorder, this study examines it as a possible cause of entrepreneurial failure. The study uses data from two sets of questionnaire with one hundred and fifty failed entrepreneurs. Analysis is quantitatively undertaken with Structural Equation Modelling/SEM and is supported by the result of Narcissistic Personality Inventory-16/NPI-16 questionnaire which reflects the degree of respondents’ narcissistic behavior. The study infers that the greater narcissistic behavior entrepreneurs has, even with the presence of entrepreneurial learning from the past failures, may lead entrepreneurs to experience subsequent failure. Stubbornness and hypocrisy are two reasons behind this. Therefore, entrepreneurs should be aware of their negative character-personality and psychological aspects when performing entrepreneurial processes.

Moderating Role of Job Autonomy in the Relationship among Antecedents of Organizational Commitment: Empirical Study in Indonesia Social Security Administrator for Health 工作自主性在组织承诺前因关系中的调节作用:印尼社会保障卫生管理员的实证研究

This study examines the effect of perceived work overload and work-family conflict on organizational commitment with job autonomy as a moderating variable. This study combines Moore (2000a) and Ahuja et al. (2007) IS Turnover model to develop a more parsimony model in explaining the phenomenon of organizational commitment in Social Security Administrator for Health (BPJS Kesehatan). Population of this study is employees of BPJS Kesehatan including Central Office, Deputy for Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi (Jabodetabek) Region, Deputy for Central Java and DIY, Deputy for Papua and West Papua, Deputy for North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Gorontalo and North Maluku, and Deputy for Region South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi and Maluku. 1650 samples of employee from all level and job positions have gathered by online questionnaire survey. The Result shows that the perception of work overload and work-family conflict affects organizational commitment and is moderated by job autonomy. Implications for future research and stakeholders are further discussed.

The Relationship between Basic and Advanced Financial Literacy Index and Lecturer Financial Planning 基本、高级理财素养指数与讲师理财规划的关系

Aims of this study are to discover the way lecturers in Palembang manage their financial planning and to analyze the relationship between the financial literacy index and financial planning. The data of this study were analyzed by conducting descriptive analysis and using the pearson correlation coefficient in the testing a hypothesis. Respondents in this study were as many as 153 people. For collecting data, a survey has been conducted by sending questioners. Based on the survey, generally, lecturers in Palembang have implemented the steps of their financial planning and debt management in a good way, and that the lecturers recognize the importance of insurance, but, the survey also pointed out that the lecturers do not have a piece of sufficient knowledge to determine a particular product of insurance that suits their need. The investment activity of the lecturers is considered lacking since most of the lecturers have no plan on preparing pension funds and inheritance of their own despite their knowledge of the importance of preparing them. It has been figured out that there is a relation between basic financial literacy and financial planning. Advanced financial literacy also has a relation to financial planning. This study implicates that a good understanding of financial literacy related to improvement in financial planning so that it needs a bigger effort from the respondents for improving their awareness on the importance of financial planning.

Determinants of E-Government Implementation Based on Technology Acceptance Model 基于技术接受模型的电子政务实施的决定因素

This study aims to examine Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) on the implementation of E-Government. Data for this study were collected through a questionnaire survey on the people of Malang City who have used E-Government services. Structural model analysis was performed using smartPLS. The results showed that intention was the main determinant of the use of E-Government services. The determining factor of intention to use E-Government services is positive attitude towards E-Government. Other factors such as system quality, its ease of use, and quality of information do not affect people’s interest in using E-Government services. In other words, E-Government application developed by the City Government has been deemed not easy enough to be applied and not informative enough to meet the information needs of the community. This is a challenge for the City Government to be able to improve and develop the quality of systems and information from its E-Government services so that people are increasingly interested in applying it, for the realization of Malang as a smart city.

Data for this study were collected through a questionnaire survey on the people of Malang City who have used E-Government services. Structural model analysis was performed using smartPLS. The results showed that intention was the main determinant of the use of E-Government services. The determining factor of intention to use E-Government services is positive attitude towards E-Government. Other factors such as system quality, its ease of use, and quality of information do not affect people’s interest in using E-Government services. In other words, E-Government application developed by the City Government has been deemed not easy enough to be applied and not informative enough to meet the information needs of the community. The Effect of Innovational Performance on Determining Firm Value: Evidence from Indonesia 创新绩效对企业价值的影响:来自印尼的证据

This study explores the most significant determinant of capital structure towards the value of manufacturing companies in Indonesia. Multiple regression models were used as statistical tools to investigate the most significant determinants of the firm value of manufacturing companies in Indonesia for a sample of 300 manufacturing firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results showed that profitability, company size, dividend, investment, and innovational performance were positively related to firm value. Debt was negatively related to firm value and dividend was an insignificant firm value determinant. Meanwhile, the influence of innovational performance variables mediating the effect of investment on firm value showed that the role of mediation innovational performance was able to increase the influence of total investment on firm value. Furthermore, empirical findings will help company managers to make decisions about the attempts to increase the firm value.

Managing Human Resources Management Policies in a Private Hospital and its Impact on Work-Life Balance and Employee Engagement 民营医院人力资源管理政策管理及其对工作生活平衡和员工敬业度的影响

This study examines the role of human resources practice in enhancing work-life balance and engagement. We try to identify how are employees manage their work and life with the help of an organization to achieve stronger engagement. Data obtained by distributing a questionnaire to 200 employees from a private hospital in Banyuwangi. The collection of the questionnaire took 45 days and we have 113 useable responses. The technique used is mediation analysis using bootstrapping analysis. The results showed there is a positive effect of human resource practice on work-life balance. Both variables have a positive effect on employee engagement. Through the mediation analysis, it is known that work-life balance acts as mediation in the relationship between human resource practices and the level of employee involvement. Future studies can expand the participants from other hospitals in Banyuwangi or East Java.

Enhancing Employee Performance During the Covid-19 Pandemic: the Role of Readiness for Change Mentality 在Covid-19大流行期间提高员工绩效:准备改变心态的作用

This study aimed to measure the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance of the employee of a shoe industry in Tangerang which are mediated by readiness for change. Data collection was done by simple random sampling technique and the returned and valid questionnaire results were 117 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that transformational leadership have not significant effect on the employee performance, but transformational leadership have a positive and significant effect on readiness for change. This study conclude also that readiness for change have a positive and significant effect on relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. Readiness for change as fully mediator. This new research proposed a model for building employee performance among the employee of a shoe industry in Tangerang through enhancing transformational leadership practice with readiness for change as a mediator. This research could pave the way to improve employee readiness in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0.
