Analysis of Students’ Initial Scientific Literacy of Science in Elementary School Teacher Education Student UNY 小学教师教育中学生初步科学素养分析

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of scientific literacy possessed by prospective elementary school teachers at Yogyakarta State University. The method used in this research is qualitative description. The research design used is descriptive quantitative research. The number of subjects in this study were 44 students of PGSD UNY. Data was collected through an online questionnaire survey. Questionnaire data was obtained through question items distributed to respondents in the form of Google Form. The data collection was analyzed using Microsoft Excel and explained as a descriptive explanation. The results of this study indicate the average scientific literacy ability in the aspect of scientific competence as a whole is 66.08% with the achievement category being "good". The percentage of achievement of scientific literacy skills on the indicator of identifying scientific problems is 58.33% with the "enough" category. The percentage of achievement on the indicator explaining scientific phenomena is 71.60% with the "good" category. While the percentage of scientific literacy achievement on indicators using scientific evidence is 69.17% in the "good" category. Overall, the literacy level of PGSD UNY students is in the "good" category.

Is conceptual learning based on conceptual change text (CCT) effectively applied to pgsd students science class? 基于概念变化文本(CCT)的概念学习是否有效地应用于pgsd学生的科学课?

For Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students, the introductory science concept course is part of the compulsory course. The understanding of PGSD students in basic science concepts will affect the quality of learning in the classroom. This research was conducted in odd semesters with 60 students who attended lectures on basic science concepts, and the sample selection was made randomly. To collect data on the effectiveness of the implementation of CCT, instruments used in the form of cognitive and clinical test questions have gone through validation and reliability tests. In the study, students were divided into two groups: the experimental group using CCT-based contextual learning as teaching materials and the control class using ordinary teaching materials. Based on the N-Gain data found in the field, there was a significant difference between the experimental and control groups; the control class had an N-Gain value of 0.54 while the experimental class was 0.81. The data revealed that learning using CCT successfully increased students' understanding of concepts in the material cycle and better environment compared to the control class. However, based on interview data, both experimental and control class students were interested in learning the concept of the energy cycle and environmental pollution, and there was no significant difference.
科学概念导论课程是小学师范教育学生的必修课程之一。PGSD学生对基础科学概念的理解将影响课堂学习的质量。本研究以奇数学期为单位对60名参加基础科学概念讲座的学生进行研究,样本选择是随机的。为了收集CCT实施有效性的数据,以认知和临床测试问题的形式使用的工具经过了验证和信度测试。在研究中,学生被分为两组:实验组使用基于cct的情境学习作为教材,对照组使用普通教材。根据田间N-Gain数据,实验组与对照组之间存在显著差异;对照组的N-Gain值为0.54,实验组的N-Gain值为0.81。数据显示,与对照组相比,使用CCT学习成功地增加了学生对材料循环概念的理解和更好的环境。然而,从访谈数据来看,实验班和控制班的学生对能源循环和环境污染概念的学习都有兴趣,且没有显著差异。

Mathematics Physics Learning E-Module: Differences in Perceptions and Interests Based on Gender 数学物理学习电子模块:基于性别的认知和兴趣差异

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in perceptions and interests of physics education students, FKIP Jambi University towards the FISMAT e-module which was reviewed based on gender differences. This study uses a quantitative type, namely survey research. The instrument used is a perception questionnaire and the data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, namely the assumption test (normality test and homogeneity test) and hypothesis testing (one-way ANOVA test) and continued with Scheffe's further test. Sampling was carried out using a total sampling technique, namely as many as 91 physics education students, FKIP Jambi University. The results of this study are that there are differences in perceptions and interests in the FISMAT e-module, namely the average student perception of the FISMAT e-module which is best owned by women in class B and for the average student interest the highest is owned by women in class A.

Pengembangan Modul Sistem Reproduksi Berbasis Berpikir Kritis Terintegrasi Nilai Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan 基于批量思考的生殖系统模块的发展融合了伊斯兰价值观和学生价值

Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan adalah mengetahui karakteristik dan menguji kelayakan modul berbasis berpikir kritis terintegrasi nilai islam dan kemuhammadiyahan pada materi sistem reproduksi. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research Development (RD) dari Borg Gall yang telah dimodifikasi sampai pada tahap ke-7. Validasi produk pengembangan ini dilakukan oleh validator ahli materi, ahli perangkat dan evaluasi pembelajaran, ahli pengembangan dan desain modul, ahli bahasa, ahli Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan serta praktisi pembelajaran biologi. Subjek uji coba kelompok kecil adalah mahasiswa semester 6 Pendidikan Biologi Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menunjukkan: (1) produk dikembangkan berdasarkan aspek berpikir kritis menurut Facione dan diintegrasikan dengan ayat-ayat Alquran dan Hadist, yang divisualisasikan pada aspek tujuan, materi, kegiatan, dan soal evaluasi; (2) Modul berbasis berpikir kritis terintegrasi nilai islam dan kemuhammadiyahan pada materi sistem reproduksi berkualifikasi baik dan layak digunakan.

Development of a quizmaker ispring approach assessment instrument to measure understanding of student concepts 测验制造者弹簧方法评估工具的开发,以衡量学生对概念的理解

The purpose of this study is to produce a valid, practical and effective Ispring Quizmaker Application Assisted Instrument. The development model of the assessment instrument used is the Plomp model which includes three stages of development, namely: preliminary research (preliminary research), the development phase or prototype (development of prototypephase), and the assessment phase (Assessment phase). The results of the study have produced a valid, practical and effective Ispring Quizmaker application-assisted assessment instrument. The instrument is valid both in terms of material, construction, media and language with an average value of 78.76% with a very valid category. The practicality of the media has an average value of 92.06% with a very practical category, while for the effectiveness of understanding physics concepts based on questions per item of indicators understanding the concept of 65, 11% with the effective category.

Fostering Students’ Critical Thinking Skill in Chemistry through Science, Technology, Society, Environment (STSE) Collaborative Learning 科技、社会、环境协同学习培养学生化学批判性思维能力

Learning activities always develop following the needs of the times. Some skills, such as critical thinking, need to be possessed by 21st-century individuals. This study aims to analyze critical thinking skills of students who learn collaboratively based on the Science, Technology, Society, and Environment (STSE) learning approach. A posttest nonequivalent control group design was adopted in this research. Through cluster random sampling, 68 students at one public senior high school in Sleman Yogyakarta, participated as a research sample, which divided into 2 classes. Students in experimental class (N=35) has been learn about electrolyte nonelectrolyte topic through collaborative learning based STSE approach. While, the other students in the control class (N=34), taught by student center learning. In the fifth meetings, students’ critical thinking skill was measured as a research data through an essay questions instruments that has been empirically validated. Afterwards, research data were analyzed using independent sample t-test. Moreover, the p-value shown in the analysis results was 0.009. This result is sufficient to indicate that at the 95% confidence level there is a significant difference in students' critical thinking skill between the experimental class and the control class. The partial eta squared value shows that STSE learning approach has an effect to fostering students’ critical thinking in learning chemistry, in this research there was 9.8% effect that can be highlighted.

 This study aims to determine the differences and the relationship between interest and science process skills with 80 female students and 56 male students. This research uses quantitative methods so that this research is more systematic and objective. The sampling technique used in this study used simple random sampling. Analysis of the data used using hypotheses in the form of normality, linearity and homogeneity tests and assumption tests in the form of T test and correlation test. From the results of the T test and correlation test, it was found that there were differences and relationships between the sexes in the interests and skills of class VIIA and VIIB. In this case it is evidenced by a significant value 0.05. Thus, the higher the interest of students, the higher the skills of students according to their gender. It can be said that success can be seen from the level of understanding, mastery of the material, and student achievement. The higher the understanding and mastery as well as learning achievement, the higher the level of learning success.

Science learning development for the deaf: A digital literacy based learning design 聋人科学学习发展:基于数字素养的学习设计

Digital literacy-based learning is needed for deaf students in understanding style and motion material. Application assisted learning in the form of e-books is specially designed for the deaf with an attractive design, which is accompanied by visual animations of the application of style and motion in everyday life. Thus, the understanding of the material obtained is not only through text.But animations of every kind of style and examples. The pupose of this research is to develop and determine the feasibility of digital literacy based learning designs for deaf teenagers. The development method used in this research is the Dick, Carey and Carey development model with nine stages. The results of this research a digital literacy based learning design for style and motion materials for deaf adolescents referring to the 2013 curriculum. 80% percentage, material expert validation shows 83,5% percentage, and 82.25% special education expert validation. So, the development of digital literacy-based learning designs for the deaf meets the feasibility needs.

Pengembangan perangkat e-learning materi gerak melingkar menggunakan LMS chamilo 使用LMS chamilo开发圆形运动材料的电子学习设备

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh perangkat e-learning materi gerak melingkar menggunakan Learning Management System Chamilo yang valid, praktis dan efektif untuk pembelajaran fisika materi gerak melingkar. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Banyuasin 1. Metode penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model Alessi dan Trollip terbagi dalam tiga tahapan yakni tahap perencanaan, tahap desain, dan tahap pengembangan. Validasi yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini terbagi atas tiga bagian validasi berupa media, materi, serta desain pembelajaran. Analisa hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh validator diperoleh komentar akhir yakni perangkat e-learning diakui valid dan layak untuk diuji cobakan. Praktikalitas perangkat diperoleh hasil bahwa perangkat e-learning sangat praktis berdasarkan penilaian dari sudut pandang peserta didik, dengan persentasi kepraktisan sebesar 88,10%. Uji efektivitas diperoleh penilaian melalui Ngain sebesar 0,627 dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa perangkat e-learning mempunyai nilai valid, praktis, dan efektif terhadap pembelajaran fisika materi gerak melingkar di SMA Negeri 1 Banyuasin 1. Disarankan pada peneliti lain untuk dapat mengembangkan perangkat e-learning LMS Chamilo pada mata pelajaran lainnya. Development of e-learning materials for circular motion materials using LMS chamilo Abstract: This research aims to obtain a circular motion material e-learning device using Chamilo's Learning Management System that is valid, practical and effective for the learning of circular motion matter physics. Validation done in this study includes three things including validation for media, validation for material, and validation for learning design. Based on the results of validation conducted by validators obtained suggestions and input in the form of devices that have been developed declared valid and worthy to be tested. Practical value is obtained good value that states that the e-learning device that has been developed is very practical which is assessed from the point of view of learners, with a practical percentage of 88.10%. On the effectiveness assessment obtained an assessment through Ngain of 0.627 with a moderate category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the e-learning device that has been developed has valid, practical, and effective value against the learning of circular motion matter physics in SMA Negeri 1 Banyuasin 1. It was suggested to other researchers to be able to develop Chamilo LMS e-learning devices in other subjects.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh model pembelajaran Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) terhadap kompetensi literasi sains siswa, 2) pengaruh kemampuan akademik (tinggi, sedang dan rendah)  terhadap kompetensi literasi sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest-only group design dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 3. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA N 2 Sukoharjo tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian tertulis, lembar observasi dan dokumen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Analisi Variansi Dua Jalan sedangkan uji lanjut menggunakan Uji Scheffe. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) model pembelajaran Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) berpengaruh nyata terhadap kompetensi literasi sains, 2) kemampuan akademik tidak berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi literasi sains. The influence of peer-led guided inquiry toward  competency of scientific literacy viewed from academic ability AbstractThe purposes of this research are to ascertain: 1) the influence of Peer Led Guided Inquiry model towards competency of scientific literacy, 2) the influence of academic ability toward competency of scientific literacy. The research was quasi experiment research. The research was designed using posttest-only group design with factorial design 2 x 3. The population of this research were all of 11th degree student at SMA N 2 Sukoharjo in academic year 2018/2019. The sample of this research were student of XI MIPA 3 as experiment group and XI MIPA 4 as control group. The sample of this research was established by cluster random sampling. The data was collected essay test, observation form, and document. The hypotheses analyzed by Anova Two Ways. The research concluded that 1) Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) model had significant effect toward competency of scientific literacy, 2) the academic ability didn’t has significant effect toward competency of scientific literacy.
本研究的目的是:1)同伴引导探究(PLGI)学习模式对学生识字能力的影响,2)学术能力(高、现和低)对学生识字水平的影响。这项研究是一项实验性的权力研究。所使用的研究设计是仅进行后测的分组设计,采用2 x 3析因设计。本研究中的人群是整个MIPA班XI高中学生N 2 Sukoharjo 2018/2019学年。本研究中的样本为MIPA XI 3级作为实验级,MIPA XI 4级作为对照级。所使用的采样技术是随机采样簇。使用书面铀测试、观察表和文件的数据收集技术。使用双向变异分析检验假设,同时使用Scheffe检验进行进一步检验。研究结果表明:(1)同伴引导探究(PLGI)学习模式对科学素养有实际影响;(2)学术能力对科学素养没有影响。从学术能力看同伴引导探究对科学素养的影响本研究的目的是:1)同伴引导探究模式对科学素养能力的影响;2)学术能力对科学素养素质的影响。该研究属于准实验研究。本研究采用仅后测分组设计,因子设计为2×3。本研究的人群均为2018/2019学年SMA N 2 Sukoharjo的11年级学生。以XI MIPA 3为实验组,XI MIPA 4为对照组。本研究采用整群随机抽样的方法建立样本。数据收集了论文测试、观察表和文件。Anova Two Ways分析的假设。研究发现:1)同伴引导探究(PLGI)模式对科学素养能力有显著影响;2)学术能力对科学素养没有显著影响。
