High school students begin applying to university during the senior year or upon completion. This marks the beginning of a complete frustration for students as well as admissions staff. Students have countless questions and problems that need to be answered repeatedly and resolved by the admissions staff. The development of the chatbot was carried out with the aim of solving the problems faced by students interested in enrolling in the university by offering consolidated, authentic and accurate information through a live chat window. In the development, the university Chatbot obtains its knowledge from students frequently asked questions and implement dialog- flow as the platform to design the chatbot. Natural language processing is used to create the components required for developing a university chatbot design. The chatbot application implements a search for answers through questions entered from the user. The chatbot is expected to help prospective students register for admission procedures, study programs, and scholarship information. The chatbot will analyse and match categories based on the knowledge that the chatbot has. The goal of this project is to design a chatbot that can be utilized by students on the university's website to get their questions answered quickly and effortlessly.

Journalism as a profession is yet to provide an enabling environment for effective participation of women due to its male dominance. It has been a man’s occupation for years or even decades in some places which makes it a male dominated job. This male dominance affects the status of women in the media as well as reflects their status in the society. The media often mirrors the society and perpetuates its norms and values to maintain the status quo. Societal positioning of women and cultural stereotypes are key factors in the barriers to entry, retention and progression of women journalists in Sub-Saharan Africa. This is because gender roles assigned to both sexes are culturally imposed and gender inequality is perpetuated through gender stratification in the home, workplace and the society at large. In the case of women, gender stereotyping suggests that women belong in the home and are presumed home/family care givers who are generally discouraged from taking jobs outside the home, journalism inclusive. Contemporarily, most career women are left with the single option of performing their roles in the home together with their career roles. Thus, women are torn between two worlds, the world of the home and the world of work and they are expected to perform both exceptionally while they continue to occupy subordinate roles and perform gender assigned roles. Using focus group discussions and in-depth interview, this paper highlights the barriers faced by women journalists in the media in north-west Nigeria.

Poverty alleviation programs have been carried out in Malaysia for decades. However, poverty still exists in society and it seems to persist despite various efforts to alleviate it. The persistence of poverty among pockets of society is difficult to address. Intergenerational poverty is probably one of the reasons contributing to this scenario. Poverty is 'handed down' to the next generation and the cycle is hard to be broken. It is well documented in the literature that the incidence of poverty is more prevalent among single mother households whilst there is limited research on single father's issues. The methodology employed for this research is action research whereby an intervention will be introduced throughout the research period. The objective of this research is to develop specialized poverty alleviation programs for single parent households in Baling yet it is still in its preliminary stage. Hence, this paper provides descriptive information about the single parent respondents.

COVID-19 is one of the most threatening pandemics in recent times. People worldwide became terrified because of the risk of contagion, the high rate of fatality, particularly among the elderly, and the effects on people's social, economic, political, and cultural lives. Despite the risk associated with the pandemic, the Nigerian populace have different attitudes regarding usefulness to their use of information and trustworthiness, especially on social media. This study examines gender differences in COVID-19 attitudes towards related information on social media among undergraduate students of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. The study employed a qualitative approach, and interviews were used to collect data. Purposive sampling technique was used in selecting respondents. The participants consist of six female students and six male students. The data were analysed using thematic analysis. The findings showed an insignificant gender difference in Covid-19 attitudes and beliefs among students. The result further indicated that females do not value COVID-19 related information posted on social media by individuals.

Interest-free banking in Nigeria is evolving, which is supposed to be solid and ready to compete with conventional commercial banks that have dominated the market for more than a century. SMEs had difficulty in getting the funding they required to grow. The study examines the determinants of SMEs' acceptance of interest-free banking in Nigeria. The study used purposive sampling and adapted a questionnaire to collect data from a sample of 323 SMEs registered with the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN). A structural equation modelling via analysis of moment structures (SEM-AMOS) was used for data analysis and hypotheses testing. The study found a significant positive relationship between SME owners' religion, financing opportunities and acceptance of interest-free banking. The study also finds a positive but insignificant effect of a service cost on the acceptance of interest-free banking. Knowing the drivers of SMEs' acceptance of interest-free banking could guide banks' marketing strategies to compete with other types of banks in the industry. The study recommends that interest-free banks ensure the provision of products and services that comply with the religion of their existing and potential customers.

The goal of tourism has several advantages, including offering novel experiences and fostering intercultural understanding. However, tourism also has drawbacks, such as overdevelopment and ecosystem deterioration. Different factors prompt tourists to revisit a destination more frequently than others. These factors can be divided into physical and social factors. Physical elements could include a destination's image and transportation infrastructure. Social aspects may consist of how welcoming the residents are. Thus, this study explored the relationship between destination image, transport infrastructure and tourist revisit intention. A quantitative method was used for this study, and the data were collected through questionnaires from the tourists. Three hundred sixty-three respondents were used for the survey; the sample was drawn using a simple random sampling procedure. Two hypotheses were developed and tested. The researchers hypothesised that destination image positively affects revisit intention and transport infrastructure positively affects revisit intention. The data were analysed using regression analysis. The results showed that destination image significantly positively affected revisit intention. The study also found that transport infrastructure significantly positively affected revisit intention. The result of this study would inspire the government, policymakers, and tourist management to develop a customised responsiveness program. The findings will also help tourism stakeholders comprehend tourist perception and why travellers resist.

COVID-19 pandemic has interfered with teaching and learning landscape in higher learning institutions. The spread of COVID-19 has forced governments of many countries to shut-down schools and put into effect remote learning or distance learning. The purpose of this study is to answer a specific question: are the on-campus students in Malaysia higher learning institutions satisfied with online learning mode? The study also investigates the effect of variables such as students’ gender, level of study and specialization on satisfaction with online learning mode. A quantitative research method using survey design was adopted in this study. The study population is the total number of on-campus students from 14 selected universities in Malaysia. Cochran’s formula was used to determine the sample size. A total of 412 questionnaires were distributed via online google form to all the respondents. The findings revealed that a significant number of the students were dissatisfied with online learning. More than 70% of on-campus students experienced boredom, loneliness and thus, dissatisfied with online learning approach provided by the university during the peak of the pandemic. The findings showed that more than 60% of the on-campus students were not satisfied with online learning mode due to family related issues and interrupted internet connections. Online learning remains the most viable method of teaching and learning during in COVID-19 pandemic. However, this mode of learning is plagued with numerous challenges. Consequently, students from conventional education system in Malaysia have difficulties adjusting and are less satisfied with online learning.

All This paper mainly aimed to examine the role of Libyan Bank Commerce and Development in financing economic development through bank lending. In addition, a study is being conducted to identifying the extent of the interrelationship between bank credit and economic development. The major challenges encountered by the bank under study when developing plans and policies to contribute to the development process should also be identified and noted. The supervisory financial regulatory authorities in United States of America rely on the CAMELS rating system, which was developed in 1996 to assess the financial condition of a bank and identify its strengths and weaknesses based on its performance in five areas. A descriptive and quantitative analytical approach was used for the study by developing a standard model to determine the impact of bank credit affects Libyan gross domestic product. We collected data from the Libyan Bank Commerce and Development by financial ratios of the CAMEL model, bank credit and the Central Bank of Libya by gross domestic product growth. An important finding of the study is that the indicators of the Bank Commerce and Development are weak, which negatively impacts economic development. In this study, E-Views software was used to consider the normal distribution of the sample and to analysis the data. Furthermore, the study revealed that the bank credit of the Bank of Commerce and Development had a statistically significant effect on economic development. As a result, the bank shows a strong economic contribution to the development of economic sectors, especially small and medium enterprises.
