One of the emerging concepts in occupational health psychology today is work engagement. The present study investigates work engagement among generation Y and its correlation to mindfulness. Work engagement is positive, fulfilling, work-related state of mind that is characterized by vigor, dedication, and absorption. Mindfulness is present moment awareness with an observing and non-judging stance. This is the first study to examine the correlation between mindfulness and work engagement among generation Y, specifically in Indonesia. Participants of this study are 251 male and female generation Y working in some cities across Indonesia. They are 18 to 36 years old and they are varied in educational background as well as in job tenures. Data is gathered using two scales, namely Utrecht Work Engagement Scale and Mindful Attention Awareness Scale. Regression analysis reported that mindfulness contributes 2 percent to work engagement. Mindfulness is found to relate positively with work engagement (r= .142). Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan kepercayaan diri. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penyandang tuna netra di Persatuan Tuna Netra Indonesia (PERTUNI) Sumatera Utara sebanyak 150 orang yang dipilih dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan Analisa Product Moment melalui bantuan SPSS 17 for Windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan r = 0.598, dan p = 0.000 (p < 0.05) yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial dan kepercayaan diri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sumbangan (R2) yang diberikan variabel dukungan sosial terhadap kepercayaan diri adalah sebesar 35.7 persen, selebihnya 64.3 persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial dan kepercayaan diri, dengan asumsi semakin tinggi dukungan sosial maka semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri dan sebaliknya semakin rendah dukungan sosial maka semakin rendah kepercayaan diri.

Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan negatif antara conscientiousness dengan cyberloafing. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja di PT. C sebanyak 105 orang yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Data diperoleh dari Skala untuk mengukur conscientiousness dan cyberloafing. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan melalui uji prasyarat analisis (uji asumsi) yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji linearitas hubungan. 本研究旨在找出尽责性与网络游手好闲之间的关系。本研究提出的假设是,尽责性与网络游手好闲之间存在负相关关系。本研究的研究对象是一名在PT工作的员工。通过有目的的抽样方法选择了多达105人。数据是从量表中获得的,用于衡量认真程度和网络游手好闲。通过分析先决条件(假设检验)进行计算,包括正态性检验和关系线性检验。所使用的数据分析是通过SPSS 17 for Windows使用乘积矩相关性。数据分析显示,相关系数为-0.561,p为0.000(p<0.05),表明尽责性与网络游手好闲之间呈负相关。研究结果表明,网络游手好闲的责任感变量占31.5%。

Bullying merupakan tindakan negatif yang dilakukan seseorang kepada oranglain, terjadi secara berulang, ada niatan, dan adanya perbedaan kekuatan, baik fisik maupun mental. Perilaku tersebut muncul sejak usia sekolah dasar. Penyebab munculnya perilaku dalam konteks pelaku adalah karena kurangnya ketrampilan berempati kepada oranglain. Yaitu, tidak mampu merasakan kondisi emosi oranglain, dan secara kognitif tidak mampu memahami dan mengevaluasi keadaan emosi oranglain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan program emphaty character building dalam menurunkan perilaku bullying pada siswa SD Negeri di Kota Malang. Data awal, tingkat bullying siswa terentang dari sedang hingga tinggi. Desain penelitian one group pre-post test. Metode analisis data menggunakan pair sample t-test untuk menguji beda skor sebelum dan sesudah program. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, peneliti mengimplementasikan program bagi siswa SD kelas 4-6 berdasarkan aktivitas dalam modul Stanbury (2009), yang telah diaplikasikan di Indonesia melalui proses modifikasi oleh Faizah, dkk (2016). Hasilnya adalah terdapat perbedaan perilaku bullying antara sebelum dan setelah pelaksanaan program. Persentase jumlah siswa sekolah Dasar Negeri “X” yang termasuk dalam kecenderungan perilaku bullying semakin menurun. Jumlah siswa yang termasuk kategori sedang, yaitu sebesar 60%, kategori rendah sebesar 30%, dan kategori tinggi sebanyak 10%.
欺凌是一种对另一个人的消极行为,是一种重复发生的、有目的的、身体和精神上不同的力量。这种行为可以追溯到小学时代。行为在行动者背景下的原因是缺乏同情他人的能力。也就是说,无法感知他人的情绪状态,意识无法理解和评估他人的情绪状态。本研究的目的是研究“emphaty character building”计划在马朗市对该国小学生的欺凌行为的有效性。最初的数据显示,学生欺凌的水平从中级到高。设计研究小组预后测试。数据分析方法使用对t- sample进行测试,测试项目前后的分数。根据这些结果,研究人员根据斯坦伯里模块(2009)中的活动实施了4-6班小学生的项目。其结果是,在项目实施前和实施后,欺凌行为之间存在差异。美国小学生X级的欺凌行为率正在下降。中等类别的学生人数为60%,较低的类别为30%,最高类别为10%。

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment, with the assumption that the higher the organizational justice, the higher the organizational commitment and conversely. The research subjects in this study were 100 employees who worked in PT.Datascrip Medan who were selected by the saturated sampling method. Data is obtained from a scale to measure organizational justice and organizational commitment. Analysis of the data used is to use Pearson Product Moment Correlation through the help of the 17.00 SPSS program for Windows. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.450 (p <0.05). The results show there is a positive relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment. The results of this study indicate that the contribution provided by organizational justice variables on organizational commitment is 20.3 percent, the remaining 79.7 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. Students engagement is a very important variable to support students' academic achievement and success. Previous studies showed that the students who disengage will show a lazy behavior and will mislead them to dismiss their classes and even lead them to stop getting to school.This research aims to give an understanding to all professionals around the students', such as their parents, teachers, and peers about the importance of stimulating the students' motivation so that they will engage in some particular school activities. The specific purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between the social support and students engagement at school mediated by achievement motivation.This research is a correlational research. The dependent variable (y) is students engagement measured by the school engagement index. While the Independent Variable (x) is a social support measured by using child and adolescents social support (CASS). Veriable mediation is an achievement motivation measured by Achievement Motive Scale. Data were analyzed by using the path analysis method. Participants were 120 students of senior high school number 3 Palopo selected by using the proportional sampling technique.The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation among social support, achievement motivation, and students engagement. While achievement achievement motivation can not be functioned as the mediator on the relationship of social support and student engagement, it is shown from the direct correlation which is greater than the indirect one. The results of this study contribute to the education sector in particular to minimize the students’ disengagement.

Previous studies showed that the students who disengage will show a lazy behavior and will mislead them to dismiss their classes and even lead them to stop getting to school.This research aims to give an understanding to all professionals around the students', such as their parents, teachers, and peers about the importance of stimulating the students' motivation so that they will engage in some particular school activities. The specific purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between the social support and students engagement at school mediated by achievement motivation.This research is a correlational research. The dependent variable (y) is students engagement measured by the school engagement index. While the Independent Variable (x) is a social support measured by using child and adolescents social support (CASS). Veriable mediation is an achievement motivation measured by Achievement Motive Scale. Data were analyzed by using the path analysis method. Participants were 120 students of senior high school number 3 Palopo selected by using the proportional sampling technique.The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation among social support, achievement motivation, and students engagement. While achievement achievement motivation can not be functioned as the mediator on the relationship of social support and student engagement, it is shown from the direct correlation which is greater than the indirect one. The final landfill is always identified with dirty, smelly and far from healthy lifestyles, things like that that ultimately do not encourage people to stay close to the landfill site. But in fact, there are many residents near the landfill. Although the distance living close to the mountains of waste, people feel happy life. People living close to the waste dump have lived for more than 10 years and have chosen to settle in the area. Therefore, happiness does not have to be in a beautiful and clean environment. This study aims to obtain information about the dynamics of happiness felt by residents living in landfills used in this study is a qualitative method with phenomenology approach. Data collection tools used are interviews and observation. The research analysis is used by using open encoding, axial coding and selective coding. Based on the results of the study it was found that people living near TPA feel happy because people there help each other despite the limitations of both housing and food. In addition, the public is happy because the workplace is close to where to live and there is no pressure in working. Keywords: Happiness, Final disposal, Trash, Community

The purpose of this study is to find out relationship between organizational justice and turnover intention of employees at PT. Y. The hypothesis proposed in this research stated there is a relationship between organizational justice and turnover intention of employees at PT. Y. The research data analysis used was multiple regression analysis to know the relationship between organizational justice with turnover intention. The research subjects were all employees of PT. Y consisting of 108 employees. The data were derived from a scale to measure organizational justice and turnover intention. The result of the data analysis reveal F = 24.694 with p = 0.000 (p<0,05), means there is a relationship between organizational justice with turnover intention of employees at PT. Y. The result of the study showed that the contribution (R2) was 47% (Adjusted R Square = 0,470).

This research is aimed at investigating the effect of altruism on the extra-role behavior of 113 members of Taruna Siaga Bencana (TAGANA) in Banyumas Regency. The data were collected through two scales: extra-role behavior scale with the reliability of 0.910 and altruism scale with the reliability of 0.927. The data were analyzed using the simple regression technique. Based on the data analysis, it is revealed that the Ftest is 136.798 with the probability sig. (p) = 0.000 (p < 0.01). It can be concluded that H0 is accepted; which means there is a significant effect of altruism on the extra-role behavior. The determinant coefficient value is 0.552. The value shows that altruism affects the extra-role behavior as much as 55.2% and the rest 44.8% is affected by other variables which are not investigated in this research.

Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari individu akan dihadapkan pada stresor yang dapat menyebabkan stres, demikian pula dengan kehidupan mahasiswa. Peran mahasiswa yang harus mengikuti dan menyelesaikan tugas-tugas akademis dapat menjadi stresor tersendiri yang dapat mengakibatkan mahasiswa menjadi stres. Salah satu cara mengelola stres adalah dengan melakukan koping.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan koping religius terhadap stres yang dialami mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester enam fakulas psikologi Universitas Islam Sultan Agung, yang berjumlah 77 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Skala yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah skala koping religius dan skala stres. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis non parametrik dari Spearman dikarenakan sebaran data tidak memenuhi uji normalitas. Dari hasil uji hipotesis peroleh nilai korelasi r = - 0,280 dengan taraf signifikansi p = 0,014 ( p >0,05 ) sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara koping religius dan stres mahasiswa. Artinya semakn tinggi koping religius yang dilakukan mahasiswa maka semakin rendah stres yang dialaminya dan sebaliknya. Keyword : koping religius, stres, mahasiswa.
