Induction motor is widely used in some applications. As time goes by, control of induction motor is expected to has fast response to load changes and transient response. Speed precision is also required in some applications. Scalar control is known because of simplicity. Limitations of conventional scalar control are slow response and uncontrolled speed. In other hands, vector control provides a great response of induction motor, but the implementation is relatively difficult. Different modulation technique can change the speed response of induction motor. Injecting third harmony injection to induction motor does make a significant change of induction motor's speed response. This paper intends to analyse induction motor's response by injecting third harmony injection on scalar control. Injecting third harmony signal to SPWM will improve motor's transient response and feedback response under loaded condition. The software is embedded using DSP microcontroller using fixpoint arithmetic to achieve faster computation time and to reduce memory usage.

In this paper, this proposed stacked parasitic patch is presented for 3.5 GHz MIMO antenna mobile application. The parasitic patch is placed on top of the radiator patch. The MIMO antenna is composed of four rectangular antenna elements on a compact size of FR 4 with a $mathbf{156 x 40} mathbf{mm}^{2}$ and total thickness of the stacked MIMO antenna is 3.84 mm. The presence of parasitic patch contributes to improve the performance of MIMO antenna with low mutual coupling including impedance bandwidth, VSWR and S-parameter. There is a 42.57% improvement of impedance bandwidth through 3.3949 GHz to 3.7214 GHz (326.5MHz). VSWR values less than 2 along impedance bandwidth spectrum and the lowest VSWR is 1.11 at 3.5 GHz. In addition, this proposed stacked MIMO antenna also has good ECC (less than 0.02) and diversity gain (more than 9.98) at an operating frequency of 3.5 GHz.

This research presents design and development of prototype fabric-based wearable soft exoskeleton. The soft glove employs motor-tendon for assisting the flexion and extension motion of the user’s hand. Two linear actuators are used as the motor-tendon actuator system. On-off control is designed for controlling the displacement of a linear actuator connected by nylon strings to the soft glove. Step input is given to test the performance of the proposed on-off control. Based on the experimental result, the on-off control produced very small steady-state error. The resulted soft glove is attached on human healthy hand for assisting the finger flexion and extension to grasp designated objects. Based on the test result, the proposed soft glove can assist the user/wearer in grasping three different objects.

PLN(electricity supply company in Indonesia) uses the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system which consists of RTU(Remote Terminal Unit) panels for remote control. Many RTU panels failed to connect to PLN SCADA's system. One reason is the decrease in the supply voltage of the RTU panel. PLN carries out maintenance to handle that. To increase the productivity of maintaining the problem by PLN, We made a prototype monitor RTU panel supply in mobile and real-time based on internet of thing(IoT). The device performs data acquisition of Alternating Current(AC) voltage supply, Direct Current(DC) voltage supply in adapter and battery, test the condition of the RTU panel supply battery with the android application as GUI (Graphic User Interface). The android application can also show RTU panel locations and routes. With this prototype, it is expected to increase efficiency, productivity and shorter maintenance time on RTU panel maintenance so that SCADA is always ready to be used in the distribution network at all times.

Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs) is a promising wireless communication technology that supports delivery packets in the local network of the Internet of Things (IoT). This technology aims to reduce power transmission, widen coverage area, reduce a cost, and increase scalability. The LPWANs is characterized by a star topology network that allows nodes can transmit directly to the gateway. However, this topology can cause nodes that located far from the gateway consuming more amounts of energy so that their battery will be rapidly dropped and die earlier. This work aims to evaluate the performance network in multi-hop uplink of LPWANs communication for LoRa in terms of energy saving. The network was constructed in a star topology with a gateway as its Center Point. Also, it has five rings and several branches. The nodes were deployed in the rings. Each node has several children. Results show the multi-hop model can decline significantly the uplink communication in terms of energy saving. This model can be an alternative uplink communication of LPWANs to prolong the network lifetime of the LPWANs.

Landslides are frequently happened Indonesia, as many as 274 districts / cities are prone to landslides. There are many parameters that affect the landslide occurrence such as rainfall, land slope, soil moisture, and vibration. It is needed to provide a system that not only able to process data parameters to provide early warning of landslide disaster, but also increase the readiness of the population to minimize losses caused by this disaster. Generalized Regression Neural Network method is used to identify the effect of each parameter on the occurrence of landslide disaster. Tests conducted on field conditions and simulations on safe, alert, and danger condition to know the calculation result of artificial neural network. The simulation results are compared with the artificial neural network feed forward back propagation and manual calculations to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The validation test on field condition using simulation shows average error of Generalized Regression method and Feed Forward Backpropagation method are 0.00115 and 0.08702, respectively. Furthermore, the Mean Square Error performance of the former method is better than that of the latter with values of 2.9157e-06 and 0.0112, severally.

One alternative and a non-invasive method named iridology, has been developed to find more effective way of detecting diabetes mellitus. Iridology is the method of mapping the human organs, and it has corresponded in iris' zone. It can be used to detect damaged tissues, particularly in the pancreas where it holds the primary role of producing insulin. This study focuses on developing a non-invasive diabetes mellitus prediction system through an iris image using an image processing algorithm and neural network model. The processing starts with image enhancement using FFT filter and grayscaling, iris localization using Circular Hough Transform (CHT), and normalization using rubber sheet normalization. Segmentation on pancreas in iris image then resulted as followed, one ROI of right-eye image and two ROIs of left-eye image. The image database is collected with maximum of three images taken from 15 healthy subjects and 11 diabetes subjects, resulted in 201 data images. Feature extraction method that has been used is the Gabor filter, using the texture feature of the segmented iris image. The evaluation method we use for the system is the confusion matrix to obtain its accuracy and other parameters. Classification model of Feed-Forward Neural Network (FNN) is implemented to classify between diabetes and healthy subjects with the best results of accuracy number 95.74% and 92.57% for training and testing data respectively. The result shows that this system can be proposed as a complementary tool for therapeutic methods for diabetes prediction.

Quadcopter requires monitoring to determine the position and attitude of the object when flying. Attitude consists of roll, pitch, and yaw angles. In quadcopter monitoring is difficult when the object is flying away and outside the operator's viewing range. Monitoring requires a monitoring system to monitor objects further. One way that can be used to determine the position and motion of a quadcopter is by combining GPS technology and Inertial Sensor. This study discusses data acquisition to monitor the position, attitude, and value of reading the sulfur gas sensor in the quadcopter by combining GPS and Inertial Sensor. The communication module used is 433 MHz radio frequency with STM32F103 and the main microcontroller using STM32F4DISCOVERY. Data about accepted objects is then displayed through Visual C # in real time. Testing of latitude and longitude is done by tracking the path of the object, while testing roll, pitch, and yaw angles is done by placing the object in accordance with the reference angle.
