This paper deals with the work studying of high strength steel in the constructions of silo capacities. The most widespreadtrademarks of steel have been analyzed. Mechanical and chemical features of examples series of high strength steel of Europeanand American manufacturers have been experimentally tested, which were used for the body’s sheet panels making.It has been made checking calculation of storage capacity with the diameter of 11 m from shaped corrugated sheet of differentthickness. The material for panels manufacturing is one of the researched examples of steel. It was mentioned reasonableconclusions according to the using of the concerned material for getting economically rational project decisions.

The classification of the main seasonal heat energy storage batteries is given, and the modern circuit diagram of the phaseshift battery as part of the system with a heat pump and a solar collector is considered. The disadvantage of water heaters istheir large volume in most cases. By utilizing the accumulated latent heat of substances, a significant reduction in capitalcosts is achieved. The possibility of creating energy-saving ventilation systems with the use of a seasonal heat accumulatorworking on phase transformations of heat-accumulating material is considered. The linear stationary mathematical model ofthe battery thermal balance is made and on the basis of the calculation results graphs and diagrams are constructed enablingtoanalyze the work of the heat accumulator during the year. The classification of the main seasonal accumulators of thermalenergy and ventilation systems with a ground heat exchanger use is considered. In the article the theoretical andcomputational research of the seasonal heat accumulator creation and application possibility working on phase transitions ofheat-accumulating substances (water) in the ventilation system of a residential individual house is given.

The article is devoted to creation and substantiation of experimental research method of vertical differential grout pumpwith flowing piston mark РН 2-4, developed by researchers at Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University.Experiments type has been substantiated, variation intervals of the studied parameters values have been determined, thepreparation of the experimental sample of the grout pump for research has been described, an experimental installation for researchhas been designed, the measuring means have been selected, the conditions for performing the experiments have beendetermined. This technique enables to find the rational values for the following parameters of the solution pump when workingwith plaster solutions of different displacement: working body frequency movement, diameter, mass and height of liftingover the valve, the hole diameter in the valve sockets.

The method of sealing materials effectiveness evaluation in the repair of bituminous-concrete surface with transversal cracksis offered. Calculation schemes and mathematical models based on the application of the thermo-viscous-elasticity theory forthe prediction of temperature stresses in the sealing material at the contact with the bituminous-concrete surface, taking intoaccount the thermal-technical and thermorheological properties of the materials and the geometric parameters of the bituminous-concreteslabs and the transversal crack. The obtained analytical dependences allow to estimate the service life beforethe loss of sealant compound integrity or adhesive strength of their adhesion with bituminous-concrete surface taking intoaccount annual and daily temperature fluctuations according to the main provisions of the kinetic theory of solid bodiesstrength.

Recently, the issues of evaluating the quality of building structures and predicting their reliability are becoming increasinglyimportant, especially for the construction of industrial facilities of the old fund. Powerful mathematical methods are beingdeveloped to evaluate the performance of structures and predict their reliability, but there are no automated computer systemsfor such analysis. At present, programs for the determined calculation of structures have been developed, which implementmethods for the resistance of materials, theoretical and construction mechanics, but they do not provide an opportunity to determineand predict reliability, especially objects of the old fund. The methods of the classical reliability theory combinedwith the methods of statistical modeling are used in the work, which requires the use of modern IT technologies methodswith the development of appropriate software systems

The results of on-site measurements of industrial facility underground structures forced dynamic vibrationsparameters have been presented. The influence of the dynamic vibrations value on the development of underground cablechannel precast concrete units uneven settlement has been analyzed. Based on the previously described mathematical model implemented in software complex PLASTICA, nonlinear calculation of one anchor sheet pile wall together with surrounding soil medium has been performed. To assess the results reliability with experimental data tests Lazebnik G.E., calculations in PLAXIS 2D and classic Coulomb method are compared. The basis of a mathematical model incorporated the theory of plastic flow with hardening, which is based on the principle of maximum Mises. In general, it can be assumed that the calculations results in the software package PLASTICA using the proposed nonlinear models showed satisfactory agreement as compared with the experimental data

In the article presents an engineering method for calculating compressed flexible reinforced concrete elements with sheet reinforcement over a steel cross section. The results of the calculation are compared with the experimental data. Calculation ofload-bearing capacity of reinforced concrete flexible elements with sheet reinforcement is based on the method of boundarystates. The work of specimens under load and the nature of the load-bearing capacity depending on the height and eccentricity of the effort were investigated. The proposed method of calculating compressed elements with sheet reinforcement on asteel-cross-section allows to take into account their flexibility in both axial and out-of-center application of load.

The article is focused on the natural experimental research of injection waterproofing impact on basement areas of existingbuildings brick walls. Two types of experimental installations for waterproofing material injection have been developed. Thesecond type turned out to be more efficient due to the fact that it could cover larger waterproofing wall area. It can possiblyspeed up the process of walls waterproofing and major repairs of buildings in general. According to the experimental data, after the injection waterproofing placement, the wall moisture content decreased by half due to the high quality waterproofingmaterial and performed installation work.
