The purpose of the work is to analyze multichannel images used in medical research related to the classification of radiographs. Classification rules for the bitmap multichannel images are based on two methods of the descriptors formation. Through these descriptors, two groups of classifiers are built with the subsequent aggregation of solutions. In channels with high image spatial resolution the descriptors are formed based on the analysis of border contours of the corresponding bitmap segments. To analyze and classify the selected contours, the bitmaps in channels with high resolution in the spatial frequency range or in the electromagnetic spectrum are used. The use of multiscale windows in each channel allows creating multiple classifiers for one channel with the subsequent aggregation of solutions both within the channel and between the channels. This results in a network structure of classifiers (cellular classifiers), which parameters are determined through training, based on expert assessments or hybrid methods. The result of the research is the development of efficient algorithms for processing and analyzing multichannel images. The authors determine the models’ structure based on cellular processors using neural networks. Those structures can be adapted to specific features of the image and allow implementing the objects’ classification in medical images in real time. The conclusions are drawn about the possibility of applying the method to building an intelligent decision‐making system for all types of processed multichannel bitmap images.

The intelligent decision support systems process a large amount of data. Often, the information is duplicated, which slows down the process of predictive models building. The iWizard-E system, which is designed to assist the university applicants in choosing a training direction, has the function of duplicate records removal from the data before building a predictive model. The paper analyzes the influence of the mentioned function on the system operation. To this end, a series of experiments were conducted, during which various samples were processed, containing the individual features of students and the information about their graduation from the university, after which the recommendations were generated regarding the choice of a preferred course of study. The samples were formed on the basis of a set containing only unique records. Then the real data were compared with the results issued by the system. The F-measure was used as a quality criterion. It was found that duplicate removal has a positive effect on the quality of work of iWizard-E. This fact is of high practical significance: the amount of data required for the formation of reliable predictive models and, as a result, reliable recommendations to the applicants is reduced. Moreover, the time required to build the predictive models is reduced.

The relevance of this study is justified by the introduction of digital transformers to modern electrical substations and the need to create relevant digital systems for the automatics relay protection. The article discusses the basic principles of automatics relay protection of the digital electrical substations. The authors examine the problems of its implementation with the use of embedded systems based on domestic computing systems of the Elbrus family with the support of a protected mode of program execution. They suggest an architecture of the user program for managing the automatics relay protection system at a digital substation. Based on the architecture of user tasks and the requirements of the industrial standard, the authors form the restrictions imposed on the software and hardware of the computing systems used in embedded systems in the industry. This paper presents some results of the protected mode in real problems of automatics relay protection at digital substations. The study demonstrates the advantage of using protected mode in creating programs that control industrial facilities. The authors consider the effect of protected mode on the performance and fault tolerance of the target system.

To identify the promising (breakthrough) trends in the advancement of radio electronic systems with the use of US Patents and Trademark Office database this paper examines the possibilities of patent analysis. This method is based on automatic time series generation of US patents for inventions and subsequent comparison of different technical solutions in specific International Patent Classification subgroups, and in their issuance dynamics for 2007-2017. In particular, the authors analyze several promising trends in the advancement of radio electronic systems using the reflection or secondary radiation of radio waves. The data obtained allow stating that the most promising are systems using the reflection of radio waves and systems adapted for specific applications. According to the authors, the most promising systems, which use the reflection of radio waves, are systems intended solely for measuring distance using transmission of continuous unmodulated waves, amplitude-, frequency- or phase-modulated waves. Radar or analogous systems specially adapted for terrain-avoidance were found to be the most promising among systems for specific applications.

The purpose of the work is to review the methods known from the literature and to propose the new methods for preparing the nickel electroplating and nickel electroless plating solutions containing nickel(+2) complexes with 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid CH3C(OH)(PO3H2)2 of various proton and stoichiometric composition which allow to obtain high quality nickel coatings. The classification of preparing methods on the basis of chemical reactions nature is given. The advantages and the limitations of each method are discussed. The starting materials are water soluble and water insoluble nickel(+2) salts, nickel(+2) 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonates, 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid, sodium or potassium 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonates. The conclusion is that the methods which base on the use of nickel(+2) bis(1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonate(1-)) tetrahydrate are the most versatile and convenient. The examples of the preparation of 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonate solutions for nickel plating without other substances or with the second ligand (ammonia, ethylenediamine, triethanolamine and others) are given.

The article is concerned with the problems of monitoring and debugging of operating system processes, the effectiveness of which in the hard real-time operating system version does not allow any stopping to analyze the state of software and/ or hardware. The paper describes the concept of a debugging and monitoring system developed taking into account this feature in the Sukhoi design bureau for the BagrOS-4000 hard real-time operating system on the Elbrus architectural platform together with the specialists of MCST JSC. The method of non-stop monitoring and data collection in hard realtime processes in the multiprocess multimodular systems is discussed. An approach to the management of debugging targets in terms of source code using the DWARF debugging information specification is presented. The transition from the instrumental machine to the system server built into the target computer is described. Given the rationale for the use of client-server architecture in the debugging and monitoring system for BagrOS-4000. A comparative analysis of the key functionality of the debugging and monitoring system with the existing debugging systems has been carried out; the key aspects of the DMS architecture have been considered. The design of a machine-dependent interface required for the integration of the independent hardware platforms into the BagrOS-4000 system when implementing the system on an integrated avionics module of the onboard complex is discussed. The results of testing of the debugging and monitoring systems are analyzed in terms of efficiency versus the classical method of using the debug console prints when debugging a real-time operating system. Most of the above solutions are universal and have been successfully tested using other microprocessor platforms on multi-threaded application programs of real-time operating systems running on multi-core processors, including the MIPS, Power PC, Intel platforms.

The paper considers methods for modeling fluctuations of the phase front of an electromagnetic wave reflected from a radar object (reflections) using models that emit statistically related signals. Previously, such models were considered only in relation to objects distributed over a single angular coordinate. A two-dimensional geometric model, emitting statistically related signals, was proposed for replacement of reflections from radar objects distributed over two angular coordinates. The emitters of the model are located at the vertices of the square. Expressions are obtained for determining the characteristics of signals supplied to the emitters of such model, at which the model provides the required parameters of the probability distribution density of the angular noise of the distributed object. Within the framework of the model under study, it is proved that it is possible to control the parameters of the probability density distribution of angular noise along two coordinate axes independently. The equivalence of the four-point partially coherent model and the five-point incoherent in terms of providing the probability characteristics of the angular noise is shown, and the limits of this equivalence are also determined. The proven equivalence of models allows developing an apparatus for the synthesis of spectral-correlation characteristics.

The study is focused on the development of a distributed environment monitoring system designed to collect data on environmental parameters and analyze them in real time mode. The initial results of the system functioning as a whole are obtained: the main ways to construct the systems for monitoring the environment in the conditions of premises are considered, the approach to creating a distributed monitoring system is proposed, the method for autonomous movement of agents is developed, and experiments to evaluate the method compared to the existing ones were carried out. The paper presents an analysis of autonomous movement methods for robots, a study of approaches for constructing distributed systems, and a description of the technical characteristics of an environment monitoring system designed for solving monitoring and access control problems with the possibility of integration into existing robotic and automated systems.

The article presents the concept of solving the actual scientific and practical problem – the development of a decision support system at the regional management level using new methods, models, algorithms and software tools that improve the efficiency of decision-making in the support of the strategic planning process. Leading decisions and initial principles that reflect the laws of development and management of regional corporations, the principles of their social management are considered. The organizational structure of the corporation economic and social system management is shown. The main characteristics that satisfy the developed decision support system are determined. The mathematical model of processing the collective expert estimations of the factors of tabular methods of the strategic analysis is considered. The components of the decision support system are determined. The proposed original concept of building a system to support strategic decision making allows increasing the efficiency and transparency of the stages of strategic regional planning for corporations and simplifying the procedures for strategic analysis and budgeting of investment programs.

The article presents an algorithm for the synthesis of regulators for servomechanisms, in which the control object is linear. The algorithm is focused on electromechanical systems, the main element of which is a controlled electric drive. The synthesis algorithm is based on the use of the L–Markov moment problem. The advantage of the proposed algorithm with respect to the others is that the regulators synthesized on its basis ensure the minimization of energy for the objects control. The essence of the proposed algorithm of synthesis is that the control, according to the provisions underlying the L – moment problem, can be determined not only through the system of moment functions, but also through the moments. The latter depends both on the time interval during which the object is transferred from the initial state to the final state, but also on the state of the object itself. To solve the problem of controller design for servo systems, the following is proposed: 1. Explicitly express management through moments. 2. Perform «unfreezing» the initial and final states of the object. When «unfreezing» the initial state of the object is considered to be the current phase, and the final state is determined by the monitored signal. The time interval during which the object is transferred from one state to another is set arbitrarily in the general case. However, the longer this interval, the smaller the control rate, but, respectively, the greater the tracking error.
