An analysis of Intelligent Demand Management criteria applied in a building case study 智能需求管理准则在楼宇个案研究中的应用分析

The power consumption in buildings represent a 30-40% of the final energy usage, which is caused by: HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), lighting and appliances with any connection to the power grid. The major challenge is to minimize the power consumption by optimizing the operation of several loads without impact in the customer's comfort. For this purpose, the design of an Intelligent Demand Management using Intelligent Systems is presented in this paper. Furthermore a comparative analysis is carried out to evaluate the power consumption performance of some Demand Side Management (DSM) techniques. In this case Direct Load Control (DLC), Load Priority (LP) and Scheduled Programming (SP) are compared with the proposed approach based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). Experimental testing is performed with the consumption data base. The testing results show that energy savings can be achieved through control of the states of various loads.

A performance comparison for wind power integration into the grid system 风电并网系统的性能比较

The integration level of wind power into the grid system over the world has been growing at a very fast rate in the last few years and is still keeping this pace. In the future, wind power is expected to be at least comparable to the conventional power generation systems. Large-scale wind farms will need to be integrated into traditional power grid systems, creating the need to establish technical standards to make this integration feasible. This paper covers the performance comparison of a power system with and without the inclusion of a large-scale wind farm. The global system model is presented along to a case of study and the simulation results.

Simulation of vertical axis water turbines 垂直轴水轮机的仿真

This study presents three-dimensional numerical simulations of a cross-flow vertical-axis marine current turbine (straight-bladed Darrieus type) with particular emphasis on rotor-performance prediction and hydrodynamic characteristics. Numerical investigations of a model turbine (power coefficient and flow behaviour) were undertaken using developed computational models. Turbine design was studied using a time-accurate Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) commercial solver (ANSYS-CFX v. 12). A physical transient rotor-stator model with a sliding mesh technique was used to capture change in flow field at a particular time step. A shear stress transport k-ω turbulence model was used to model turbulent features of the flow. Developed model can effectively predict hydrodynamic performance of a vertical-axis marine current turbine.

Design of a photovoltaic-wind power generation system with grid connection and two micro-grids 并网双微网光伏-风力发电系统设计

This paper presents the design of a hybrid photovoltaic-wind power generation system with an installed capacity of 27,6 kW for the Complejo E3T of the Universidad Industrial de Santander. The system consists of five subsystems, four photovoltaic (97,46%) and one wind power (2,54%). The system will generate 40 MWh per year, it will have a predominantly injection of kind grid-tied (95%); but also it will have storage energy from batteries in two micro-grids to ensure supplies to specific loads, both AC or DC (5%).

Effects of PV interconnection system to a circuit of a distribution network 光伏并网系统对配电网回路的影响

This paper analyzes the effect of the implementation of photovoltaic systems interconnected to a branch circuit of an electricity distribution network in the city of Bogota. By computational simulations NEPLAN tool, connecting the photovoltaic system to the network, the change is evidenced in the direction of power flow, the variation in the levels of voltage, current and power losses, which are then compared with voltage values obtained from Colombian rule governing maximum and minimum levels in the distribution network. Somehow this article contributes to the increase of projects with renewable energy such as developing it demonstrates the improvement that would be implemented in story to operating conditions of the distribution network, improving voltage profiles, complying with the limits established by regulation voltage, and decreasing the amount of current flowing through the conductors, which generates an increase of the useful life thereof. It should be noted that these results are valid under the conditions previously established, and that in a different context can present a different performance.

Characterization of power quality disturbances using digital filtering techniques 使用数字滤波技术表征电能质量扰动

This paper presents a characterization of the solar resource behavior for ten cities of Colombia. This study was made from solar radiation and ambient temperature data collected by the Instituto de Hidrología, Meteorología y Estudios Ambientales de Colombia IDEAM. According to the analyzes, we determined which of these ten cities are the best potential for developing solar energy projects.

Small signal stability analysis of Jepirachi wind park Jepirachi风电场小信号稳定性分析

The actual development of wind energy in several countries around the world become it as the fastest growing power generation technology between green and clean technologies. Almost 50% of the installed wind turbines are induction generators. With the increase of induction instead of synchronous generators, electrical networks are experiencing different disturbances, which require permanent transient and small signal stability studies. This article presents an analysis of a small signal stability study in the first wind park installed in Colombia. In this analysis a software VORTEXOFT developed by the authors is used for aerodynamic purposes. A modal analysis and eigenvalues were done considering high level of wind power penetration. The results obtained indicate that the proposed method effectively identifies the stability operational point for a high level of wind power.

Environmental Transmission Expansion Planning using non-linear programming and evolutionary techniques 使用非线性规划和进化技术的环境传输扩展规划

Current energy consumption has led to an increase in the use of fossil fuels to generate electricity, which in turn produces negative impacts on the environment. Studies show that demand will continue growing and new schemes for generating power and managing resources should be developed. In the case of the transmission network, some constraints may lead to use plants with high emission levels, and therefore, appropriate planning is key to minimize environmental impact. This work proposes a methodology for solving the Transmission Expansion Planning Problem (TEPP) when emissions of CO2 are considered. The result is an investment plan that leads to the lowest level of emissions by means of a Chu-Beasley Genetic Algorithm (CBGA). An improvement step is carried in the CBGA in order to minimize also the cost of the plan. Non-linear Interior Point Method (NLIPM) is used to generate the initial population and Linear (LIPM) is used to solve the operative problem in the evolutionary process. The approach is validated using the IEEE-24 bus system in order to show its effectiveness.

Studies show that demand will continue growing and new schemes for generating power and managing resources should be developed. In the case of the transmission network, some constraints may lead to use plants with high emission levels, and therefore, appropriate planning is key to minimize environmental impact. This work proposes a methodology for solving the Transmission Expansion Planning Problem (TEPP) when emissions of CO2 are considered. The result is an investment plan that leads to the lowest level of emissions by means of a Chu-Beasley Genetic Algorithm (CBGA). An improvement step is carried in the CBGA in order to minimize also the cost of the plan. Non-linear Interior Point Method (NLIPM) is used to generate the initial population and Linear (LIPM) is used to solve the operative problem in the evolutionary process. Compensation of DC-link voltage oscillations in grid-connected PV systems based on high order dc/dc converters 基于高阶dc/dc变换器的并网光伏系统直流链路电压振荡补偿

The development on PV applications along with recent breakthroughs in power electronics has became in a strong research area especially in modeling and control techniques. This paper presents an analysis of grid-connected photovoltaic systems using three different high-order dc/dc topologies: Cuk converter, SEPIC converter and Zeta converter. This work considers ideal PV systems and a voltage load model is used, which is a common model for large DC-links. A technique for compensation of voltage oscillations is introduced as an alternative to the common use of electrolytic capacitors which introduce reliability problems. The systems are tested through simulation to validate the analysis performed and finally some conclusions about results are given.
