The paper problematizes the issue of contradictions of scientific multidimensionality and is devised as a contribution to the topic from the perspective of social epistemology. The paper points to the fact that scientific multidimensionality and interdisciplinarity are some of the unquestionable categories in the defining of contemporary notions of knowledge and science, and that, as such, they inherently possess negative aspects, which must be taken into consideration when reflected on within the current world history. The paper in particular foregrounds the problem of the status of humanities and social sciences which are marked as redundant and practically useless, due to the objective global and political circumstances and the rearguard capitalist logic. Moreover, the paper also discusses the conceptual history and a sort of knowledge stock of the fundamental roots of the modern notion of scientific knowledge, about which we can take more clear positions to contemporary discussions on the topic.

This paper considers how, as a relatively young academic discipline, human resource development (HRD) has undergone significant changes in terms of research approaches that constitute a relevant sum of scientific knowledge, the influence of related scientific disciplines, and the main research topics since the second decade of the twenty-first century. The results of the analysis of selected texts from five academic journals were presented and discussed in finding answers to three research questions: (1) How is the academic disciplinary framework of human resource development considered in the analyzed texts? (2) Which academic disciplines are considered necessary for building a human resources knowledge base? (3) What research topics are highlighted in the analyzed texts?

This paper aims to provide the urban-sociological context for the significant proliferation of the topic of Christ Cleansing the Temple in 16th-century painting. Widely accepted interpretations of this phenomenon consider it exclusively in the context of the Counter-Reformation, i.e. the Catholic Revival, considering the topic to be a symbol of the rejection of Protestant dogma or, otherwise, the Church's struggle against the demoralization of its clerics. The Counter-Reformation context is indisputably significant. However, certain socioeconomic processes that mark the 16th century, such as the development of protocapitalism in Italy, i.e. the establishment of year-round trade in the city and the emergence of a new, politically and economically dominant class of merchants and bankers, also emerge as an aspect worth examining. French sociologist Henri Lefebvre considered the 16th century to be a turning point in the development of urban forms and pointed out the connection between this biblical story and the disdain for the restructuring of the city which was due to those changes. Owing to his theses on the production of space, we will observe a dual involvement of the Church in the motions of inhibition and initiation of processes which, by producing a new type of space, disrupt the balance that ensured its material and symbolic power.

The paper aims to establish the idea of Bosnian textology on the basis of the comparative-textological analysis of different editions of Mak Dizdar's Stone Sleeper and Old Bosnian Texts. Different fates and receptions of the two books have been analyzed from the perspective of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian culture and literature in the 20th century, with an emphasis on the crossroads as one of its key topographical figures. The origin of this feature was ascribed to Midhat Begic, even though Mak Dizdar had used it long before him with the same exact meaning that would be dominantly exploited in the future. The paper then problematizes different editions of Stone Sleeper and questions the closing word of textological attempts that aspire to be characterized as authentic and definitive.

The use of psychoactive substances by adolescents is one of the more serious problems of modern society. Socio-cultural context plays a significant role in influencing the form of psychoactive substance use. The aim is to show the most important sociocultural factors for psychoactive substance use among adolescence, as well as a show and analysis of studies on the use of psychoactive substance use in adolescents about cultural, racial, and ethnic affiliation. Identified factors that belong to the category of sociocultural determinants are the quality of family relationships and dynamics; peer pressure; part of the city or other place where young people live, stay and/or go to school; social norms, expectations, and beliefs; legal regulations, and the general characteristics of the society. In the analyzed studies, alcohol is the most used substance among adolescents, and marijuana is the most used illegal psychoactive substance. Male adolescents are more likely to use psychoactive substances, than girls. A high prevalence of the use of psychoactive substances was registered among American Indian adolescents and young people in Colombia, while a low prevalence was recorded in Asian countries. Patterns of drug use among youth were analyzed in several tribes living in India, Thailand, and the United States. Tobacco, alcohol, and opium are the most used substance in members of these tribes.

The main goal of this research was to determine the attitudes of educators about the importance and representation of moral education in the contents of the curriculum and work program of modern preschool institutions. Moral development and the formation of moral values take place in the process of continuous interaction with the social environment in which adults (parents, educators), school and peers, and more recently, mass communication media, act. The research sample consisted of 87 teachers from two preschool institutions from Novi Pazar, gender imbalanced, with the majority of the female population (85 teachers), of different ages and years of service. Among the instruments used was the scale of teachers' attitudes about moral education, which was formed for this research. As for statistical tests, a reliability test was applied, which confirmed that the scale is highly reliable and homogeneous, as well as tests of descriptive statistics and statistical inference - Chi-square test. Based on the results, the main conclusion is that moral education is recognized by the majority of educators as important and present in the contents of the curriculum in work with preschool children, while on the other hand, there is also a gap between the proposed activities in the contents and their application due to the current crises in the educational process.

The authors of this paper start from the position that horizontal learning implies a reflective dialogue among participants in the learning process within the professional development of teachers and preschool teachers, critical examination, observation, and understanding of theory and practice from different perspectives, building common knowledge, skills, and values based on which the necessary changes in practice can be planned and implemented. The findings of several types of research indicate that horizontal learning, despite the recognized benefit by the participants of the process, is still poorly represented in practice. The research aims to examine the factors that, according to school teachers and educators, negatively affect their motivation to participate in horizontal learning and at the analysis of their proposals on how to overcome the existing problems and difficulties in the current practice of horizontal learning in the Republic of Serbia. The combined method was applied in the research. The research sample included preschool teachers, subject and classroom teachers employed in institutions from several cities in the Republic of Serbia. For the quantitative part of the research, a questionnaire was constructed (N=330), while the qualitative part of the research was carried out through a semi-structured interview (N=30). Based on the obtained research findings, we can conclude that an unfavorable social environment for learning is the dominant factor that determines the motivation of teachers and educators to participate in horizontal learning activities. In this regard, the research findings indicate that with a higher level of support for horizontal learning in the institutions where the respondents are employed, their motivation to participate in horizontal learning activities also increases. Teachers and preschool teachers recognize the director of the institution as a leader of changes and development of the institution, but also as a manager who provides conditions for the realization of horizontal learning. Research findings and concluding considerations contribute to mapping current practice and a more complete understanding of the process of horizontal learning, providing a basis for creating future policies for the professional development of employees in education.
