The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of the learning model, the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model on the mathematical communication skills of students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 12 Pematangsiantar. The design of this study used a pretest-posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023, and the sample in this study were all students of class VIII-6 SMP Negeri 12 Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023 totaling 30 students. The instruments used in this study are validity, reliability, level of difficulty of test items and distinguishing power of test items. The data obtained were then analyzed using data analysis techniques, the average value of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model was 82.13 and the average mathematical communication ability was 56.03. The results of hypothesis testing after obtained thitung = 11.052 and ttable = 2.045. This means that thitung > from ttable which indicates the null hypothesis is rejected. Based on the description, it is concluded that the use of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model has an influence on students' mathematical communication skills in learning functions in class VIII of SMP Negeri 12 Pematangsiantar

The development of creative thinking skills really needs to be done because this ability is one of the abilities that the world of work wants. Mathematics learning needs to be designed so that it has the potential to develop students' creative thinking. The observation results show that teachers still pay little attention to students' creative thinking skills. Creative thinking ability tests have been compiled and validated by the validator. Based on the identification and definition of the problem that has been simplified, the formulation of the problem in this study can be formulated, namely how is the test instrument for measuring the creative thinking abilities of junior high school students. The purpose of this study was to develop a test instrument that measures the creative thinking abilities of junior high school students. This study aims to determine the effect of the Knisley learning model to improve mathematical problem-solving skills at MTs'Aisyiyah North Sumatra and how influential the Knisley learning model is in improving mathematical problem-solving abilities. The researcher chose a sample of two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class, each with 25 people. The method used by the researcher is the experimental method. The research instrument used in this study was a test instrument which consisted of 5 questions. This research was conducted at MTs 'Aisyiyah North Sumatra in class VIII. Based on the results obtained based on the test results of the calculation of the hypothesis test, there are results thitung = 5.46 at a significant level = 0.005 and dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 25 +25-2 = 48, then obtained ttable = 1.677. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test, it is obtained that thitung > ttable = 5.46 > 1.677, which means Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence of learning motivation on Mathematics Learning Achievement of class XI students of SMK Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar which consisted of 30 students. This research uses quantitative research with Quasi Experimental design research method. The population in this study was class XI as many as 9 classes at SMK Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar as many as 544 students. The number of samples taken was 30 students, namely class XI TAV-2. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and pre-test and post-test. The results of the study were to determine how much influence learning motivation had on mathematics learning achievement for XI grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023. This type of research is a quantitative research type with the research sample being students of class VIII B and VIII C SMP Swasta Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematangsiantar, namely 60 students. Students are given a test to see how the results of students' mathematical problem solving. Response, and student activities towards learning. Then the researcher described the results in data analysis. The method used by the researcher is a pre-experimental method using a one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted at SMK Tritech Informatika Medan in class X- Multimedia Executive as many as 25 students. The results of hypothesis testing conducted in this study indicate that the t-count value is 16.4037 with the t-table value at a significant level = 0.5, which is 2.060, meaning that the t-count value > t-table value or 16.4037 > 2.060. So Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the Collaborative Learning learning model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of the students of SMK Tritech Informatikan Medan.

This development research was conducted to produce a product, determine the validity, and student responses to the teaching materials of the student worksheets that have been produced. This study developed a Mathematics Student Worksheet based on mathematical understanding abilities with a worked example approach on the material of a two-variable linear equation system that could be an alternative to minimize students' cognitive load and provide understanding to students. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII-2 SMP Swasta PAB 3 Saentis which consisted of 10 students, where the researchers chose respondents based on a small scale. The methodology used is research and development which was developed using the ADDIE development model consisting of five steps, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation (implementation), and (5) evaluation. However, in this study, it was carried out until the development stage. The results of this study showed that the mathematical student worksheets based on mathematical understanding abilities with the worked example approach on the material of a two-variable linear equation system according to media expert validation were in the percentage of 80% with good validation categories. , or suitable for use without revision and material expert validation is in the percentage of 87% with a good validation category, or suitable for use without revision. As for the RPP, according to the validation of media experts and material experts, the percentage is 82.22% with a good category, or suitable for use without revision. And according to student responses, the percentage is 86% with very good criteria, it can be used in the learning process. The formulation of the problem in this study is Is there any effect of using the LAPS Heuristic model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan on the subject of SPLDV. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the LAPS Heuristic model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan on the subject of SPLDV. The instruments used in this study were tests and observations. The subjects in this study were class VIII- T2 which consisted of 30 students (as the experimental class) and class VIII-T3 which consisted of 30 students (as the control class). The object of this research is the ability to solve mathematical problems using the LAPS - Heuristic learning model. From the results of the study, it can be seen that using the LAPS – Heurtistic learning model has a positive effect on improving the mathematical abilities of eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan T.P 2021/2022

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of guided discovery learning assisted by GeoGebra software on the understanding of mathematical concepts in the flat material of the Darul Muttaqin Kandangan students' private MTs. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs Swasta Darul Muttaqin Kandangan with a total of 90 students. While the sample used in this study was class VIII3 students of private MTs Darul Muttaqin cage with a total of 30 students. This research uses quantitative research and one-group pretest-posttest research design. The data analysis technique used in this research is the normality test using the Lilliefors test and hypothesis testing using the t test. Processing of data to be tested using Microsoft Excel program. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the guided discovery learning model assisted by GeoGebra software on the understanding of mathematical concepts in the flat wake material of the Darul Muttaqin Kandangan students' private MTs. This can be seen from the calculation of the hypothesis test using the t test with tcount > ttable, namely 5.32 > 1.701 at a significant level = 0.05. So, it can be said that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The research was carried out at MTs PAB 1 Helvetia with 32 students in class VIII-B as the experimental class. This research is a quantitative research with experimental method using one group pretest posttest design. Students are given a test to measure learning outcomes and an observation sheet to measure student activity. From the results of the study, the average pretest value was 49.6875 and the posttest average value was 8.0938. The results of the hypothesis test carried out show that the value of t_count is , with the value of t_table at a significant level of 0.05, which is 1.694, then t_count ( ) > t_table (1.694). The gain index value of 0.71678 is interpreted into the criteria for the value of g>0.7, the results indicate that the gain index is in the high category. The conclusion of this study explains that there is an effect of the Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes where there is an increase in the average value of learning outcomes after being taught using the Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative learning model, and student activities are quite active during the process. learning using the type of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray
