This paper describes the current state of development of the testing and measuring equipment called StudentCar BatteryStand at the Department of vehicle materials and technologies. The article describes the conceptual solution of BatteryStand and provides wiring diagrams. It also mentions the measured discharge characteristics of the batteries, which experimentally verified the designed battery stand's functionality.

Fast model order selection of the nonlinearity in hammerstein systems hammerstein系统非线性的快速模型阶数选择

In the paper we show a new three-stage algorithm identifying the Hammerstein system nonlinearity. The algorithm is designed to work when a poor a priori knowledge is available and when the measurement data set is small. In the first stage, a deconvolution routine is applied to output signal in order to diminish a (usually) harmful influence of the linear dynamic component. Such filtered output is then used in a standard nonparametric estimate (be it kernel or orthogonal series one) to recover the unknown characteristics. Finally, the results of nonparametric estimation are used in the algorithm selecting the best parametric model. The entire proposed approach is illustrated by the simulation example.

The neurodynamical model of recurrent networks in this paper is approached from an engineering perspective, i.e. to make networks efficient in terms of topology and capture dynamics of time-varying systems. Neural dynamics in that case can be considered from two aspects, convergence of state variables (memory recall) and the number, position, local stability and domains of attraction of equilibrium states (memory capacity). The purpose of this work is to investigate some relationship between Lyapunov exponents and the recurrent neural network model described by the concrete system of delay-differential equations.

Simulation model for analisis of thermal processes in thermo-insulating food packaging 食品绝热包装热过程分析的仿真模型

The contribution deals with the creation of mathematical model and its implementation in MATLAB environment in the form of simulation model, which is proposed mainly for analysis of thermal processes in thermo-insulating food packaging. The mathematical model of heat transfer in food packaging is described in the introduction of this paper. It is basically a thermal tank, where the wall heat capacity is significantly lower than the thermal tank content heat capacity. All three kinds of heat transfer convection, conduction and radiation is used. The heat flow from environment to the wall, in our case packaging, as parallel heat flow of convection and radiation is under consideration. The heat transfer by conduction through the packaging layers is in direct contact with the content of thermal tank. The processes of heat accumulation and phase transition of wax are taken in account beside the heat transfer processes, which occur in food packaging. In this article, the implementation of mathematical model in MATLAB environment in form of m-function is shown. The graphical user interface (GUI) as additional module provide comfort user-friendly environment for input and simulation setting. GUI ensures running simulation under different conditions and the presentation of simulation results in the graphical form, data form, respectively. To the simulation model the database of thermo-physical properties of packaging materials is supplemented. The information about name, thermal conductivity and thickness of packaging layer are saved in file format CSV. In the paper verification of model based on experimental measuring is done. In conclusion the different ways of simulation model applications are described and the examples of some concrete simulations are shown.

Measurement of piezoelectric ceramic parameters - A characterization of the elastic, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of NCE51 PZT 压电陶瓷参数的测量。NCE51 PZT的弹性、介电和压电特性的表征

This article describes in detail the measurement method and the calculation of the complete matrix of piezoelectric coefficients from one PZT ceramics disc. A set of piezoelectric samples is produced from a disc of appropriate dimensions for all types of vibrations that comply with the world and the European standards. The samples produced are a thin plate for traverse length mode, a thin disc for radial mode and thickness extension mode, a cylinder for longitudinal length mode and a thin plate for thickness shear mode. Soft PZT ceramics, type NCE51, was used for calculation of the matrix coefficient and for description of the measurement method. Frequency method was used for the measurements and for the calculation of all coefficients. Impedance analyzer Agilent 4294A with a range from 40 Hz to 110 MHz and measuring tweezers “Tweezers Contact Test Fixture 16334A” were used for the measurements. The experiments verified the possibility of determining the complete matrix of the coefficients on piezoelectric ceramics without major requirements regarding the set of samples needed for the measurement.

Advanced monitoring system for granular material thermal treatment 先进的颗粒材料热处理监控系统

A new advanced monitoring system for granular materials thermal treatment was developed. This system underpinned with a mathematical model of the process consists of tree operational layers: basic control, process control and supervisory control level. Monitoring system is made up of instrumentation, mathematical model, and visualization layers. Instrumentation level was enriched by new types of sensors enlarging measurement possibilities and their precision. Mathematical model is based on first principals. Complex simulation enables to provide forward all required data. The adequacy of real and calculated data is secured by model calibration on measured data. Forward data gained by simulations enables predictive control. Visualisation system is virtual reality based. It enables very effective visual communication with the user. Concept of the monitoring system with visual communication in the virtual reality environment was applied on the rotary furnace for magnesia sintering. Developed visualization system enables spatial presentation, interactivity, user easiness, platform independency and is financially undemanding.

An impact of chosen construction parameter and operating conditions on the quality of wind turbine energy generation 选择的结构参数和运行条件对风力发电质量的影响

Wind turbines significantly affect the quality of energy in the grid. There are a number of factors, which cause fluctuations in the energy produced by wind turbines. The paper presents results of research on the model wind turbine to assess the impact of ground-layer shape, transient effects of air movement, the distance between wind turbines and parameters resulting in the construction on the efficiency of utilization of wind energy.

Towards autonomously traversing complex obstacles with mobile robots with adjustable chassis 可调底盘移动机器人自主穿越复杂障碍物的研究

Looking at the mobility of robots and their chassis most are limited to fairly flat environments. In urban environments common structures such as steps or stairs pose invincible obstacles for such systems. When it comes to unstructured outdoor environments a vast variety of obstacles is imaginable which are not traversable by common robots, for instance boulders, debris, rocks or trunks of fallen or chopped trees. However, there are mobile robots with adjustable chassis providing a higher degree of mobility and enabling them to overcome such obstacles. This paper presents first results on our motion planning algorithm which aims at utilizing the enhanced capabilities of those robots. It takes into account the chassis configuration and the system stability to propose the best path. We use a high level planner to quickly generate a preliminary path by considering the platform's operating limits. We then distinguish between path segments on flat and rough terrain. For each hard segment we restrict the search space to a tube around the initial path. A subsequent planner is used to refine the preliminary path by considering the actuator positions, the robot's stability and a ground contact factor. Our planning algorithm is general in the sense that we do not categorize obstacles and do not use predefined motion sequences for those obstacle classes. Finally, we present a discussion including an analysis of the time complexity and a simulation application in ROS and Gazebo as proof of feasability.

When it comes to unstructured outdoor environments a vast variety of obstacles is imaginable which are not traversable by common robots, for instance boulders, debris, rocks or trunks of fallen or chopped trees. However, there are mobile robots with adjustable chassis providing a higher degree of mobility and enabling them to overcome such obstacles. This paper presents first results on our motion planning algorithm which aims at utilizing the enhanced capabilities of those robots. It takes into account the chassis configuration and the system stability to propose the best path. We use a high level planner to quickly generate a preliminary path by considering the platform's operating limits. We then distinguish between path segments on flat and rough terrain. For each hard segment we restrict the search space to a tube around the initial path. A subsequent planner is used to refine the preliminary path by considering the actuator positions, the robot's stability and a ground contact factor. Our planning algorithm is general in the sense that we do not categorize obstacles and do not use predefined motion sequences for those obstacle classes. Modelling and control of a hexa-copter 六轴直升机的建模与控制

The paper describes mathematical model and control algorithm for hexa-copter flying machine. Hexa-copter is a member of multi-rotor flying devices which consist of multiple fixed rotors attached to a simple mechanical construction. Hexa-copter itself consists of 6 six rotors with fixed pitch blades. The main property of such devices is their instability. Thus the control algorithm is non-trivial and its tuning is relatively difficult. Since incorrectly tuned control algorithm can cause device damage the use of mathematical model for testing is appropriate. The model of flying hexa-copter is derived using classical Newton laws. As the perfect model would be complicated, some approximations have been done. Using the state variables of model and linearization a control algorithm is designed. Then the results of control algorithm are presented.

Reliability analysis of the human operator 操作人员的可靠性分析

The article discusses the reliability of the human operator in the Man - Machine - System (MMS). Safety and reliability of technical systems can be critically influenced by people's behavior. It is necessary to analyze the technical components of the system and at the same analyzing human activities. Creating a probabilistic risk assessment (PSA) is based on a comprehensive evaluation of human behavior. Probabilistic estimate of a human reliability assessment (HRA) aims at the quantitatively analyze human action to identify possible errors, identifying weaknesses in the system. In the second part of the article there is an analysis of dynamic changes in driver behavior due to rising fatigue. The fatigue and a decrease in concentration are reflected especially on long monotonous rides on highway, where cars reach high speeds. The failure of the driver in this situation is critical.
