INTERSPECIFIC ASSOCIATION OF KAYU LASUN (Dysoxylum alliaceum) AT KETAMBE RESEARCH CENTER, GUNUNG LEUSER NATIONAL PARK DISTRICT ACEH, INDONESIA 印度尼西亚亚齐古农勒泽国家公园克塔姆贝研究中心的一种间关联

The Ketambe Research Center is a natural laboratory and one of the nature conservation areas in Indonesia which are rich in biodiversity, located in Gunung Leuser National Park (TNGL). One of the plants found was the Kayu Lasun plant (Dysoxylum alliaceum) which has allelopathic substances. This allelopathic substance can theoretically inhibit the growth, development, and interaction (association) of other plants. The objective was to determine the association of Lasun wood (Dysoxylum alliaceum) with other plants at the Ketambe Research Center. The quadratic method was used as the research design, the station was determined by purposive sampling based on the presence of lasun wood plants (Dysoxylum alliaceum) using non-destructive sampling. Square plots were placed according to the cardinal directions. This study showed the types of plant associations in the area around Lasun wood (Dysoxylum alliaceum) at all observation points found positive and negative types with the degree (strength) of association in the weak category.

ANALYSIS OF ABILITY OF BIOLOGICAL EDUCATION ALUMNI IN MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION BIOLOGY PRACTICUM 生物系校友管理与实施生物学实习的能力分析

This research is motivated by efforts to improve the quality of graduates of the Biology Education Departement in the management and implementation of practicum in schools. The purpose of this research is to describe the ability of PBL alumni teachers in managing and implementing practicum. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative which provides a careful description of the alumni's ability to manage and carry out practicum. The steps of data collection were questionnaires, observations and documentation studies. The technique used to analyze the data is a descriptive technique with percentages. The results of the study on the ability of the alumni of the Biology Education Study Program in managing practicum showed the following: (1) The planning of the laboratory work program (53.33%) was declared good; (2) Laboratory organization was stated to be very good (33.33%) (3) The implementation of the laboratory work program (46.66%) was stated to be very good; and (4) the supervision and evaluation of the laboratory work program (26.66%) was stated to be very good. While the ability of alumni teachers in carrying out practicum is in the good category (75.3%). Teachers play an important role in the management and implementation of effective practicum

THE EFFECT OF THE QUANTUM LEARNING MODEL ASSISTED WITH VIDEO ON STUDENTS' COGNITIVE LEARNING OUTCOMES IN SMP NEGERI 5, KUPANG 视频辅助的量子学习模式对中学学生认知学习成果的影响

This study aims to determine the effect of the video-assisted quantum learning model on the cognitive learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 5 Kupang City on the subject of Biology with the topic of additives and addictive substances. The research method used is quasi-experimental research, with a posttest-only control design. The research population was all students of class VIII with a total of 398 people, with the research sample consisting of 2 classes namely class VIII as the experimental class and class VIIIH as the control class totaling 30 students. Data collection techniques using learning outcomes tests with instruments in the form of multiple-choice questions and essays. Learning outcomes data were analyzed using SPPS version 22-assisted t-test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the t-count value was 8.424 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, indicating a significant effect on the implementation of the quantum learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes. In the quantum learning process, the learning atmosphere is comfortable and fun, students are actively involved during the learning process, with the help of video media aiming to sharpen students' memories of learning materials and make students enthusiastic about following lessons, as well as being responsible for completing tasks given by the teacher, dare to argue By making conclusions, the use of video media helps the learning process run smoothly to obtain satisfactory results. The results of the study can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of video-assisted quantum learning models on students' cognitive learning outcomes.

The aims of this study to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills through the application of learning model the Problem Based Learning in Biology subjects in class X SMA Negeri 1 Kluet Tengah. The subjects in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Kluet Tengah, with total of 31 students, with focus of this research critical thinking skills ability in Biology subjects. The research design used was classroom action research, which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. In the pre-cycle, the students 'critical thinking ability was 37.81% in the less critical category, since implementation of the first cycle the students' critical thinking ability became 51.80% with the fairly critical category. In cycle II, the average achievement of students' critical thinking skills has increased to 76.90% in the critical category. Thus the results of this study indicate that the application of learning model the Problem Based Learning can improve students' critical thinking skills in Biology subjects in Class X SMA Negeri 1 Kluet Tengah.
本研究的目的在于探讨运用问题型学习模式对学生批判性思维能力的提升。本研究的对象为SMA Negeri 1 Kluet Tengah X班的学生,共31名学生,本研究的重点是生物学科目的批判性思维技能能力。研究设计采用课堂行动研究,分两个周期进行。每个周期包括四个阶段,即:计划、实施、观察和反思。在前循环中,学生的批判性思维能力在不太批判性的类别中为37.81%,自实施第一个循环以来,学生的批判性思维能力在相当批判性的类别中为51.80%。在第二周期,学生批判性思维技能的平均成绩在批判性类别中提高到76.90%。因此,本研究的结果表明,运用基于问题的学习模式可以提高学生在SMA Negeri 1 Kluet Tengah X班生物科目的批判性思维能力。

FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN DYSPEPSIA PADA REMAJA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KRUENG BARONA JAYA KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR TAHUN 2019

Krueng Barona Jaya Aceh Health Center after being interviewed there are some patients who have unhealthy eating habits such as late eating, like eating spicy food, which can cause dyspepsia. The results of interviews of 10 people there are 8 people who experience dyspepsia. Researchers chose adolescents because many at this age generally have stress levels as well as lifestyle conditions for consuming irritating food and drink. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the incidence of dyspepsia in adolescents in the working area of Krueng Barona Jaya Aceh Besar District Health Center in 2019. This research is descriptive analytic with cross-sectional study approach. The population in this study were 38 adolescents visiting the Krueng Barona Jaya Health Center in the Juni 2019 period, with a total sample of 38 people. The sample collection technique is accidentall sampling. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate, research was carried out in 17 s/d 24 June 2019. The results showed that there is a relationship between stress (p-value 0.033), regularity of food (p-value 0.004), irritative food and drinks (p-value 0.024) with the occurrence of dyspepsia in adolescents in the working area of Krueng Barona Jaya Aceh Besar Regency Health Center in 2019. It is recommended for adolescents, it is necessary to make a meal schedule and always maintain the availability of food when mealtime arrives or by always bringing snacks, pay attention to regular meal times (right) and types of food adequate and varied, which consists of carbohydrates, protein, and fat at every meal, and avoid the consumption of spicy foods, sour, soft drinks.

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' understanding of biodiversity material and its preservation efforts through the field trip method. This research was carried out in the MTsN Model Banda Aceh, while the field trip location is the Mata Ie Forest in Darul Imarah sub-district and the Taman Rusa in Suka Makmur sub district, Aceh Besar. The research method is experimental method. The samples in this study were 2 randomly determined classes consisting of one experimental class of 36 students using the field trip method and one control class of 36 students with the expository method. The data analysis technique was carried out with the z-test with SPSS 16.0. The results showed that the concept understanding for the control class was 70 and the experimental class was 76. There was a significant difference between the application of the field trip method and the expository method to students' understanding of the biodiversity concept. It can be concluded that the application of the field trip method can increase student interest in learning, specifically for biodiversity material and its preservation efforts.

Deteksi Antibodi dan Antigen Cacing Filaria dan Indeks Entomologi Vektor Potensial Filariasis di Kota Langsa Provinsi Aceh

Humans can be infected with filariasis through mosquito bites with filaria worms in infective larva stage (L3). This study was conducted to detect the antibody, antigen, and the entomology index of potential mosquito vectors of filariasis in Langsa City. This research was conducted in Matang Seulimeng Village and Sungai Paoh Firdaus in Langsa City on November 2016 with 600 respondents. To determine the level of exposure to the infection source, a finger blood survey was conducted with a quick check using the rapid diagnostic test (RDT). RDT used is Brugia test to measure antibodies and ICT (Immuno Chromatographic Test) to measure filaria worm antigens. The existence of potential vectors is measured by entomology index, which are mosquito density, relative abundance, frequency of mosquitoes caught and species dominance. As the result, there were no respondent have been found positive for antibodies or filarial worms antigens in their blood. For the vector data, the potential mosquito vector of filariasis in Langsa City is Culex quinquifasciatus (23%) with peak biting activity at 01.00 02.00 pm.

Pengaruh Ekstrak Rebusan Daun Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsl.) A. Gray Terhadap Kadar Glukosa Darah

Tithonia diversifolia is a plant that has the potential to reduce blood glucose levels that is crucial in Diabetes Mellitus therapy. This study aims to determine the active compounds contained in the extract of T. diversifolia leaves decoction, the effect of decoction extract on the reduction of blood glucose, and the most effective decoction extract to reduce blood glucose levels as well. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with the research treatment groups, namely: Kn = normal control (normal mice and not given leaves decoction extract), Ka = STZ control (DM mice, which are normal mice induced by 65mg/Kg of STZ), Kp = treatment control (normal mice given leaf decoction extract) , P1 = DM + mice were given young leaf decoction extract, P2 = DM + mice were given a mixture of young leaf and adult leaf decoction extract, P3 = DM + mice were given adult leaf decoction extract. The leaves used for decoction were 1-6 leaves from the shoots. The analysis of T. diversifolia leaves decoction compounds is using the visible spectrophotometers for tannins, phenols and flavonoids and GC-MS for terpenoid analysis. The result found that Tithonia diversifolia leaves decoction extracts contain tannins, flavonoids and phenols, while terpenoids are not detected. The leaves decoction extracts of T. diversifolia influenced the decreases in blood glucose levels of DM mice, especially the decoction extract of adult leaves which reduced blood glucose levels to 71.16%.

Aktivitas Harian Rusa Tutul (Axis axis) pada Lahan Konservasi di Hutan Kota Kecamatan Langsa Baro Kota Langsa 朗萨省朗萨市朗萨市森林保护农场的豹(Axis Axis)的日常活动

Spotted deer (Axis axis) is one of the component forming forest ecosystems  and has a very important role in the food chain cycle. However, excessive and uncontrolled use of deer by humans can result in a decline in the animal population in nature. One of the conservation efforts that can be done is by captivity (ex-situ conservation). This study was conducted to determine the daily activity of the spotted deer in captivity of the City Forest in Langsa Baro Subdistrict, Langsa City on 8 - 22 February 2018. Data on the daily activities of the spotted deer were obtained through direct observation using the animal sampling scan method for 15 days. The study found that eating was the highest daily activity, namely male 30,84%, female 32,84%, pregnant deer 34,17%, and young deer without horns were 29.08%. The highest activity time is at 08.30-10.30 and the lowest activity time is from 06.00-08.00.

Jenis Tumbuhan Paku di Kawasan Terutung Kute Kecamatan Darul Hasanah Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara

A research is conducted to identify the types of ferns found in the Terutung Kute in Darul Hasanah District, Southeast Aceh.  Method used in this study was an exploratory survey which was carried out with a 50 x 10 m transect that was spread throughout the area including mountains, plantations, settlements and watersheds. The study found 11 types of ferns from 8 families, namely Asplenium longissium, Asplenium tenerum, Diplazium accentens Blume, Davallia corniculata, Davallia trichomanoides, Orthioptheris sp, Lindsaea sp, Nephrolepis falcate, Heterogenium sp., Cyclosorus gongylodes and Cylosorus sp. The total number of individuals found in the Kute Terutung area are 131. The highest number of individuals is found in residential areas as much as 34, while in the mountainous regions are 32, watershed areas are 27. The least number of individuals is found in plantation areas as much as 22 individuals.
