It is well known that the processes of deregulation, globalization and information technology, which began in the 80s and 90s, led to a review of the fundamentals of the financial system and its structure. At that time, international activity is initiated in connection with the improvement of the financial system through the adjustment of the regulatory and institutional framework. The financial structure in its characteristics can be bank-based or market-based, which is largely conditioned by factors such as relevant policies, culture, infrastructure development, key national sectors of the economy. What is always actual is the question of the mutual influence of the financial sector and the real sector, i.e. the relationship between the parameters of the financial structure and financial development, from one side, and economic growth and development, from the other side, to which the unique answer does not exist. In connection with the above, the subject of research in the paper is the analysis of the financial structure in Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia with the main goal of determining the influence of the parameters of the financial structure on economic growth.

The main goal of this research is to determine the factors that influence the consumers` attitudes and intentions regarding the use of Internet banking. The conceptual model used in the research is a modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). In particular, the research analyzed the impact of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust and security and privacy on consumer attitudes towards internet banking, and also the impact of attitudes on intentions in consumer behavior. The results of the research indicate that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and safety and privacy have a positive and statistically significant impact on consumer attitudes, whereas trust has no statistically significant impact. In addition, the results show that consumer attitudes towards internet banking have a strong positive impact on consumers' intentions regarding their future behavior. Research represents a contribution to the existing scientific literature, but can also be of great importance to the management of banks, especially from the aspect of understanding the needs of potential users and increasing the number of users of these services.

In the global, dynamic and competitive environment innovation has become the main criterion by which it is possible to assess how well a company is doing business and how well it will perform in the future. In the context of the openness of innovation processes, establishing partnerships with the aim of collaboration in the field of innovation enhancement becomes the source for growth and competitiveness of companies. The paper emphasizes the importance of large companies and technology startups' collaboration. Research and the conducted analysis of the business practices of participants in these processes in Serbia indicate multiple significant benefits for collaborators. As young innovative and fast-growing organizations, startups are enabled with more opportunities for faster expansion of business in existing and new markets, using available resources of large companies, gaining necessary credibility to existing and potential customers as well as competitors. On the other hand, large companies are gaining access to innovative ways to improve their innovation capabilities, revenue growth and competitiveness.

The main objective of this paper is to determine the factors of influence on high-growth expectations in order to determine the characteristics of these entrepreneurs in SEE region. For the purpose of this research, data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor was used. For the purpose of this research, the authors included six countries in research sample of South East Europe: Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and FYR of Macedonia. An exploratory sample of the mentioned countries was 12027 respondents and 231 entrepreneurs with high-growth expectations. Data analysis was made through the SPSS program for statistical analysis. Nature of the observed variables has conditioned usage of Logistic regression. Our findings demonstrate that entrepreneurial motives, entrepreneurial KSA's, innovation and internationalization activity have a positive relationship with high-growth expectations.

Along with the process of globalization and the increase of cross-border business, transfer pricing, as a medium of transactions between related legal entities, receives the epithet of one of the biggest challenges of national tax systems. However, the effects of individual actions of each country in the domain of addressing the potential risks of transfer pricing are largely limited, thus the emphasis is put on international cooperation and activities in terms of systemic resolution of the problem concerned. Based on the above, the paper shows comparative overview of the tax regulations of individual countries in the world (classified by continents) in the domain of using transfer pricing, stating whether international regulation applies on that basis or not and on which segments.

In order to analyze simple and complex models of market, market equilibrium and market efficiency, this article considers a more complex and realistic market model with the existence of public goods. This topic is the subject of attention of many scientists, but only recently has it been possible to apply these models on real life situations and verify their correctness and justifiably. To understand the problems of the existence of public goods on the competitive market better, first one should first understand the nature and characteristics of public goods. Having derived Pareto efficiency criterion with the presence of public goods, the article attempts to answer the question whether there is an economy where competitive behavior may result in an efficient solution.

The aim of this paper is to consider the practice of subsequent measurement of property, plant and equipment in hotel companies in the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Croatia, i.e., to determine whether the preparers of financial statements make greater use of the historical cost model or the model based on fair value. The sample consists of 220 hotel companies in the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Croatia, observing their financial reports for 2019. The research reveals that most hotel companies in both countries subsequently measure owner-occupied property and plant and equipment according to the historical cost model. Hotel companies in Serbia most often apply the fair value model for subsequent measurement of investment property, while hotel companies in Croatia most often apply the historical cost model in the same context. We also find that a large number of hotel companies in the observed countries do not disclose the basis for subsequent measurement of property (including investment), plant and equipment in the notes to their financial statements, which means that the quality of financial reporting on those assets in the hotel companies should be improved.

In contemporary business conditions, that is, in a market economy, business success of a company has to be based on a basic economic and business principle of accomplishing the best possible business results with as little investments as possible. Considering that public utilities carry out public interest activities and employ a large number of people in Serbia, a need emerges to analyze their current status. The goal of this business analysis is to find out appropriate ways of improving public utilities business, including the improvement of the entire public utilities sector in Serbia. The subject of this paper is the analysis of indebtedness of public utilities on the territory of the city of Loznica. Special attention is paid to enterprises that have long-term liabilities in their business. The aim of this paper is a realistic presentation of the indebtedness of public utilities whose founder is the City of Loznica. The amount of indebtedness of local companies is compared in relation to the average indebtedness of public companies from the territory of the Republic of Serbia and the Mačva District. The City of Loznica has established five public companies, with three public companies performing communal activities. The paper will use the ratio analysis of financial indicators. The business operations of the utilities in the period from 2017 to 2019 will be analysed. In addition, the aim of this paper is to present alternative sources of financing for public utilities, which companies can use in case of facing financial problems. The research established that public utilities in Loznica do not have high long-term liabilities, but that this is not the case with other public utilities in Serbia.
