Szkolnictwo średnie w Złoczowie w latach 1730–1918

The first secondary school in Złoczów, the Piarist college, was founded in 1730 or 1731 by Jakub Sobieski, the son of the Polish king Jan III Sobieski. It functioned for over half a century and was liquidated ten years after the first partition of Poland by the Austrian Emperor Joseph II Habsburg (in 1783). Later, for 90 years, Złoczów did not have a secondary school. Efforts to restore a secondary school in the city began in 1842. They lasted over 30 years. In 1873, Emperor Franz Joseph agreed to establish a lower secondary school in Złoczów with four classes. In 1878, the City Council obtained a provisional (for one year) consent from the Minister of Religious Affairs and Education to create a fifth grade. Over the next three years, she obtained provisional approvals to create sixth, seventh and eighth grades. As a consequence, for four years (1878/79–1881/82), the school was formally a lower gymnasium, and in fact a provisional upper secondary school. From the school year 1882/83, the school formally became a secondary school. During World War I, the school did not work for a year, because Złoczów was under Russian occupation. Later, it operated in extraordinary conditions in the frontline zone. Pupils of the oldest classes were drafted into the Austrian army or joined the Polish Legions. Among the outstanding graduates of the gymnasium, it is worth mentioning Stanisław Sobiński (1872–1926) – the director of the Real School in Tarnobrzeg and the 6th Junior Secondary School in Lviv, the first superintendent of the Lviv School District, murdered by Ukrainian nationalists. In the years 1873/74–1913/14, a total of 168 teaching staff were employed. Among many outstanding ones, Ludwik Kubala can be mentioned. He gained recognition as a scientist and popularizer of history.

Analiza możliwości doskonalenia kompetencji muzycznych studentów kierunku pedagogika przedszkolna i wczesnoszkolna na wybranych uczelniach wyższych w Polsce

The article reviews the subjects of music in the field of pre-school and early school education proposed by selected universities. The characteristics of selected courses with a music profile were carried out, taking into account the number of hours devoted to their implementation, and the objectives and curriculum content included in the course cards were also discussed. Attention is paid to the components of pedagogical qualifications necessary in conducting music education classes – the teacher is the key to the proper functioning of the educational system and the future of the pupils depends on their competences, motivation and personality. Conclusions from the conducted analysis are presented in the end.
本文回顾了一些大学在学前教育和早期教育领域提出的音乐学科。对选定的音乐课程的特点进行了分析,并考虑了课程实施所需的学时数,还讨论了课程卡中的目标和课程内容。在进行音乐教育课程时,教师是教育系统正常运作的关键,学生的未来取决于他们的能力、动机和个性。最后给出了分析的结论。

Współczesne kierunki rozwoju edukacji w społeczeństwie edukacyjnym

The start of the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic on March 12, 2020 has brought about significant changes in all aspects of education. The presented article presents the current directions of education development, distinguishing between in-school and out-of-school education. On the basis of the presented division of education, the challenges faced by the currently existing types of formal, non-formal and informal education after the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic are presented.

Osamotnienie dzieci i młodzieży – narastający problem społeczny współczesnych czasów

The loneliness of a child in one’s own family is an increasingly common phenomenon. This problem concerns not only dysfunctional families, but also seemingly well-functioning families. The state of loneliness of a child in his own family significantly disturbs his development in the emotional, social, educational and even moral cheese. The consequences of this problem translate into other environments of social functioning of children and adolescents, such as school, local and peer environments. The problems highlighted in the text are: What are the macrosocial and intra-family causes of loneliness of children and adolescents? What are the negative social, emotional and educational consequences of lonely children?

Psychological and neurodevelopmental implications of the COVID-19 pandemic in children and adolescents – a review of research and reports COVID-19大流行对儿童和青少年心理和神经发育的影响——研究和报告综述

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the lives of people all over the world, including children and adolescents. Despite various clinical images of infection and potential long-term effects of it, there is a wide range of psychological implications resulting from stress, anxiety, and a feeling of helplessness rooted in containment measures and lockdowns. Children and adolescents, as a special group, need determined conditions to develop and learn. Proper development depends on contact with peers, a regular daily schedule, setting new challenges, and, above all, a sense of security that adults should provide. In the time of the global pandemic, these requirements are very difficult to meet. Consequently, we observe an increase in the frequency of appearance of mental disorders in the youngest groups. The article presents current data on the number and type of disorders described in children and adolescents associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, proposed diagnostic tools for these disorders, and recommendations for the management of a child in need of psychological intervention. The problem of neurodevelopmental disorders in children born during the pandemic is also shown. The article uses available, selected scientific studies and data from national and international reports.

Demokratyzacja edukacji w liceach – jak ją rozumieją uczniowie?

The subject matter addressed in this paper, also appearing in theoretical considerations and research carried out over the past 30 years, seems to be particularly relevant from the viewpoint of the democratic changes in Polish schools. The COVID-19 pandemic, lasting for over two years, was a time which brought specific experiences to young people, also related to education. The article starts with theoretical considerations focusing on the values, which are of particular relevance for assessing the state of the democratic changes in this institution. The text also focuses on various issues related to the organs of school democracy, i.e., student self-government and school council. The next part of the article explains the procedure used in the current study. In its central part, the article presents findings of the study assessing how secondary school students understood democratic changes in education in their schools during the specific time of the COVID-19 pandemic (during distance learning and face-to-face interactions at school). The text ends with conclusions from the present study, followed by pedagogical recommendations for secondary school headmasters, teachers and educators as well as students.

„Singel” jako styl życia we współczesnym społeczeństwie

Society in its essence is dynamic and it undergoes constant transformations as a result to development of civilisation in broad definition of this expression. Currently, one can thus say about deep changes concerning, for example, social division of labour (organic solidarity of Emile Durkheim, service society), culture (globalization and wide dissemination of media) or social relations (liberalisation affecting the increase of human subjectivity and values pluralism). Undoubtedly, those transformations influence family. Marriage as a traditional form of family life is being depreciated, as opposed to cohabitationnon formal relationship or single life. The introductory part is dedicated to forms of family life, which human is “made to choose from”. In the next part, the author defined the notion of “single person” by adopting universal determinants: marital status (single); social aspect (lack of close intimate relationship), personal area (subjective perception of one’s self as a person living alonerunning single household). The author presented classifications of single people, created Kultura – Przemiany – Edukacja, t. VII (2019) ISSN 2300-9888; ISSN online 2544-1205 http://kpe.ur.edu.pl DOI: 10.15584/kpe.2019.7.6 82 Ewa Markowska-Gos by experts in this topic, which are the most adequate to current reality of social life. The text shows positive and negative aspects of living alone, in the light of scientific research. The article seeks to characterize lifestyle of a single person and its components, based on obtained research results. It is worth to point, that it would be inappropriate to generalize the conclusions drew on the basis of analysis of obtained results, as the study group included N = 110 people. Nevertheless, the research may be the cause for further observations.

Currently, one can thus say about deep changes concerning, for example, social division of labour (organic solidarity of Emile Durkheim, service society), culture (globalization and wide dissemination of media) or social relations (liberalisation affecting the increase of human subjectivity and values pluralism). Undoubtedly, those transformations influence family. Marriage as a traditional form of family life is being depreciated, as opposed to cohabitationnon formal relationship or single life. The introductory part is dedicated to forms of family life, which human is “made to choose from”. In the next part, the author defined the notion of “single person” by adopting universal determinants: marital status (single); social aspect (lack of close intimate relationship), personal area (subjective perception of one’s self as a person living alonerunning single household). It is worth to point, that it would be inappropriate to generalize the conclusions drew on the basis of analysis of obtained results, as the study group included N = 110 people. Ze studiów nad kulturą regionalną. Regionalizm literacki

The terms “Region and regionalism” may have two meanings: a broad or a narrow one. Their broad meaning is found in sentences such as “the South-Western Europe region,” “the Zagłębie regionalism,” “the Podhale region” etc. We are interested in the meaning of the term regionalism in the sense of a deliberate, intended cultural trend (e.g. literary, poetic) related to a certain space and history, the culture of specific land, architecture, folklore, landscape, “works of nature.” In such cases, the term regionalism is closely linked to culture, and thus, to poetry and prose. The author attempts to find an answer to the questions of how the ideals of regionalism are realised in the literary works of well-known Polish writers, and how often they stem from the spirit of the region of the writers’ origin.
