Performance analysis of active matrix organic display using vertical channel organic thin film transistor 垂直沟道有机薄膜晶体管有源矩阵有机显示器的性能分析

This research paper analyzes a two transistor active matrix organic light emitting diode (OLED) display using vertical channel OTFT as access and driver transistors. The driver V-OTFT has high on-off ratio and enhances the circuit performance. The OLED used is a single layer, back-emitting OLED, utilizing Poly (p-phenylene vinylene), PPV as organic semiconductor layer. OLED are better than ordinary LEDs and LCD (Liquid Crystal display) in terms of viewing angle and flexibility. The transient and DC response of the circuit are analyzed. A current of about 4 µA flows through the OLED, when switched on, at moderate operating voltage. The display utilizes only organic components and is hence flexible and finds use in large area roll-able displays.

Performance analysis of PMSM drive using Artificial Neural Network technique 基于人工神经网络技术的永磁同步电机传动性能分析

This paper is describing Artificial Neural Network (ANN) technique using a nonlinear speed controller design Permanent-Magnet-Synchronous-Motor (PMSM) methodology, where more emphasis is given to the tuning of the PID controller. Subsequently, speed control for PMSM was analyzed in depth using ANN techniques to enhance the performance parameters in terms of integral-gain (Ki), derivative-gain (Kd) and proportional gain (Kp). Besides this, the performance of overall-system is analyzed under different-operating scenario that includes, braking, starting, load-application and load-removal conditions. Moreover, the comparison between speed-control of PMSM with the ANN technique and speed control of PMSM using Ziegler-Nichols (Z-N) method are discussed in depth. These analyses are evaluated in-terms of static and dynamic-response. The transient-response is examined in terms of rise-time (tr), settling-time (ts), peak-time (tp), and peak-overshoot (Mp). Where, overall performance of PID speed-controller with Artificial-Neural-Network technique depicts that the proposed method is enhanced the performance under the different operating scenarios.

Effects of rare earth materials on thin film devices 稀土材料对薄膜器件的影响

In this paper, the effects of rare earth materials on thin film devices has been discussed. In order to demonstrate the various effects caused by the rare earth materials, a simple Fully Depleted Silicon on Insulator (FD-SOI) MOSFET of gate length 28nm has been considered. The performance of the device is studied for different type of the rare earth (La2O3 and LaLuO3) materials, used as gate dielectric at different oxide thickness. Further the performance of the device is modelled for study of drain current. It is found that FD-SOI MOSFETs are showing better electrical behavior with rare earth materials and there is flexibility of oxide thickness reduction as compared to conventional materials available in the literature. The device is showing an improvement in its result of drive current (Ion) and off state leakage current (Ioff).

The rapid advancement of wireless standards has necessitated the need for multiband radio frequency (RF) components. The power divider is one component that plays a key role in the performance of a wireless transceiver. In this paper, a compact dual-band 3dB wideband power divider (PD) is presented for dual band applications. A coupled line transformer is also proposed as quarter wavelength transmission line (TL) transformer. The design formula for the dual band operation for the quarter wavelength transformer is also derived in section II of the paper. The proposed circuit is obtained by replacing conventional TL of two section PD with a proposed coupled line quarter wavelength transformer. Specifically, the PD is designed for 1 GHz and 2 GHz operating frequencies are simulated using Agilent Technology's Advanced Design System tool. The simulated results of the power divider validate0the theoretical results.

Comparison of VF controlled wind energy system based on different sensing methods 基于不同传感方法的VF控制风能系统的比较

This paper presents control strategies of voltage and frequency controller (VFC's) for an isolated asynchronous generator for wind energy system. Magnitude of voltage and frequency changes because of changing load and because of wind speed variation. The main confront in operation of isolated asynchronous generators are to provide unobstructed electricity with synchronized frequency and voltage under variation in consumer load and wind speeds. The capability of VFCs are established to authenticate its operation as a neutral current compensator, phase balancer, load balancer and an active filter with a VFC. Therefore, different control strategies with an improved voltage and frequency controller together with an energy storage system is used to make voltage constant and frequency constant at different load and different wind speed. It has been observed that control strategy with estimation has surpassed the performance of control strategy without estimation in terms of less requirement of current sensors.

Survey of scaling platforms for Deep Neural Networks 深度神经网络缩放平台综述

Deep Neural Networks have become a state of the art approach in perception processing like speech recognition, image processing and natural language processing. Many state of the art benchmarks for these algorithms are using deep learning techniques. The deep neural networks in today's applications need to process very large amount of data. Different approaches have been proposed to solve scaling these algorithms. Few approach look for providing a solution over existing big data processing platform which usually runs over a large scale commodity cpu cluster. As training deep learning workload require many small computations to be done and large communication to pass the data between layers, General Purpose GPUs seems to the best platforms to train these networks. Different approaches have been proposed to scale processing on cluster of GPU servers. We have summarized various approaches used in this regard.

This paper compares three indices, namely, Normalized Difference Impervious Index (NDII), Normalized Difference Impervious Surface Index (NDISI) and Normalized Difference Built-up Index (NDBI) for impervious surface extraction. Landsat 8 (OLI/ TIRS) imagery and LISS III data were used to extract impervious surface of Dehradun, Uttrarakhand, India. The images were acquired on November, 2015 for Landsat 8 and March 2013 for LISS III. Because of cloud free atmospheric conditions, no Atmospheric Correction is done but Dark Object Subtraction and Radiometric Correction are some of the corrections done before pre-processing. Six end members, namely, impervious surface, barren land, agricultural land, water, mountains and forest were selected for Land Use Land Cover classification. Supervised Classification (SC) of Support Vector Machine (SVM) method is used to classify impervious surface and it was observed that the Green and Thermal IR band for NDII show the maximum accuracy. User's accuracy, Producer's accuracy and Kappa cofficient are calculated and compared for all above indices.

Frequency scaling of slant path rain attenuation for fade mitigation in satellite communication 卫星通信中用于减缓衰减的倾斜路径雨衰减的频率标度

Fade mitigation techniques are widely used in mm wave satellite communication systems. Proposed work shows estimation and frequency scaling of rain induced attenuation which is useful in fade mitigation. Rain attenuation has been evaluated at downlink frequency and then scaled to uplink frequency, so that uplink power can be adjusted accordingly. IPSTAR beacon data at 20 GHz of two years has been used for this work. Proposed analysis is very useful for the study of uplink power control algorithms to counter rain induced attenuation.

New constructions of Boolean functions using cyclotomic cosets 布尔函数的环形集新构造

In this paper, the analysis of cyclotomic coset has been done for construction of Boolean functions. Boolean function used in cryptographic systems should have good cryptographic properties against standard or fast algebraic attacks. The cyclotomic coset plays very important role in cryptography. By using cyclotomic coset leader and minimal polynomial, we construct more balanced Boolean function. In this paper, cryptographic properties; balancedness, algebraic-degree, algebraic-immunity and non-linearity are also defined in preliminaries.
