Gender is a concept that identifies differences between men and women. Along with social and cultural developments from time to time, gender limitations must not be complicated in carrying out work or activities. Both men and women can have rights and obligations regarding gender equality. However, Indonesia is still the lowest country viewing gender equality because patriarchal culture is still inherent in some circles of society. The role of the young generation is needed to increase awareness of gender equality in the modern era. The proximity of the young age to gadgets and technology makes webtoon a platform that can educate readers because it is easy to access and free of charge. The Pupus Putus Sekolah (Pupus Dropout) webtoon can be a medium for educating messages about gender equality through its characters, so it is hoped that awareness of gender equality will increase.

Many traditional culinary recipes from West Java are lost because they are not well-documented; this is a concern for many parties. Losing the recipe means losing the "artifacts" of traditional culinary and precious history and philosophy, which are part of local wisdom. Therefore, modern documentation is needed, which is informative, interactive, engaging, and loved by the young generation. This research is about designing West Java traditional culinary recipes using augmented reality, photogrammetry, and storytelling illustration. This study employs action research. For the data collection method, structured interviews with West Java culinary lecturers and Assemblr Augmented Reality (AR) apps creators were used. Then, this data will be used as content for proposing a design solution. Based on the research conducted, the attempt to preserve West Java culinary recipes using augmented reality, photogrammetry, and storytelling illustration is determined by the extent of the fresh, fun, and fascinating concept in all these media to create an excellent first impression as an exciting medium. Once the audience is interested, the transfer of knowledge afterward will be smoother. Fun and funny illustrations can generate the desire to find and taste these traditional foods.

We present the characteristics and mechanical strength of rGO-AgNPs nanocomposites in PLA-based 3D printing. The nanocomposites are characterized using X-ray diffraction and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The XRD spectrum reveals diffraction peaks at 38.14°, 44.30°, 64.50°, and 77.42°, corresponding to the (111), (200), (220), and (3111) planes of the Ag crystals, respectively. Surface observations under the microscope for pure PLA and PLA rGO-AgNPs showed that the surfaces of the samples were uniformly distributed. The results of 3D printing indicated that the 0.10 g rGO-AgNPs nanocomposite particles were evenly distributed, although digital microscopy confirmed the presence of a few small particles that were not uniformly distributed. Tensile tests demonstrated that rGO-AgNPs exhibited higher tensile strength compared to pure PLA. Tensile strength increased as the quantity of rGO-AgNPs decreased. Young's modulus results, ranging from pure PLA to rGO-AgNPs, consistently showed an increase, with the highest Young's modulus measuring 7624.45 kPa. Therefore, specimens containing rGO-AgNPs displayed a greater modulus than others, indicating that rGO-AgNPs enhanced the mechanical properties of PLA-based 3D printing.

Challenges associated with transmitter node during the process of intelligent transceiver nodes attempting to be active state after receiving a message outside its time slot schedule which might result in energy depletion through receiver node are the most notable origin of excessive energy consumption in the system. Various methods have been carried out to minimize the overhead cost. In this article, we presented the Dynamic Network using Adaptive Wake-Up Interval Media Access Control (MAC) protocol for Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) for telemedicine which could lead to the minimization of the energy consumption in the network and maximization of network lifetime. A Receiver Controlled mechanism balances the number of wake-up periods between Receiver node and Transmitter nodes and estimation of traffic load. This article depicts no earlier examination of dynamic network using Flexible Active-Mode period scheme-based media access control protocol for WBAN. Therefore, this review work could lead to the improvement of dynamic network Flexible Active-Mode –media access control protocols and invigorate a clearer way of finding AWI-Media Access Control protocol problems.

Reinforced concrete beam is normally used as a skeletal frame to withstand the loads on the building. However, a long-span beam requires a larger beam section due to the concerns of excessive deflection and failure. Under such circumstances, a large portion of beam strength is used to sustain its own weight which is uneconomical. This problem could be overcome by reducing some portions of concrete using lightweight materials like polystyrene. The replacement should technically be applied without affecting the structural performance of the beam. This study aimed to develop an optimum design of lightweight beam by incorporating polystyrene in the conventional reinforced concrete beam. The specimens were tested with a static load using the four-point load test in order to investigate the behaviour of the beam. The effects of the parameters, such as the spacing of the polystyrene, and the amount of reinforcements were observed. The performance of the beams was evaluated in terms of the ultimate load, strength to weight ratio (s-w ratio), ductility, and failure mechanism. The results show that the lightweight beam, with 11.8% concrete replacement, outperformed the conventional beam by 47% to 61%, in terms of the s-w ratio.

This research aims to protect users from JWT (JSON Web Token) leakage, which is listed plainly in the Response Header in the web browser console. The risk of malicious attackers stealing the JWT is highly dangerous since the API (Application Programming Interface) will be within the control of malicious attackers, leading to identity theft and data abuse due to the JWT leakage. As a solution, this paper proposed a method in which the JWT bearer token will be split, separately encrypted by RSA256, and concatenated into a new unique token to limit attacker accessibility towards the JWT token. The benefit of this proposed method is envisaged to achieve a more secure web application for user data protection and security optimization. The idea of this method is to modify the bearer token by splitting, encrypting, and concatenating it to be a unique token. The product of the encryption process is an unrecognizable token in the form of letters and punctuation which attackers cannot manipulate. The encrypted code will be returned to the initial location in Response Header. After testing, it is proven that modifying the bearer token by splitting and concatenating provides more security to a web application.

The electrical losses constitute an indicator of the technical state of the electrical networks, which can reach up to 70% of the total losses that occur in an electrical circuit. In this work, the calculation of the technical losses in 140 electrical distribution networks was carried out in the school belonging to the Holguín province in Cuba. The statistical calculation is performed in order to understand the electrical losses in primary distribution networks of the Holguín province. The method used by Empresa Eléctrica Holguín was acquired for power losses, which considered the number of customers, the maximum demand, and the length belonging to the circuit under study. The Buller equation was used to calculate energy losses, which relates the load and loss factors utilizing a coefficient obtained by statistical considerations. The most affected municipalities were Sagua de Tánamo, Calixto García, and Cacocún, whose losses represented 45% of the total losses. On the other hand, the characteristic coefficient for local primary distribution networks was 0.27.

Left-handed students find it challenging to do learning activities at school since the chair are made for those who are right-handed. They must change their posture, bending their neck and lower back, in order to reach the table that is located on the right side of the chair. Consequently, left-handed students may develop musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) as a result of prolonged awkward posture in the classroom. This study sought to assess the effect of school chairs on the risk of MSDs in left-handed students. The possibility of reducing the discomfort by providing left-handed students with the appropriate chair was also examined. The Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaires (NMQ) was administered to a total of 14 left-handed students to identify their discomfort related to the chair they use in the classroom. The potential benefit of the proper chair was evaluated by measuring the deviation of the neck and low back from the upright sitting position. The finding of this study showed that a proper chair for left-handed students helps students sit straight without the need for bending their neck and low back. Modifying the chair to reduce the risk of MSDs is crucial, regardless of students’ handedness.

The objective of this study is to design and develop a mobility aid that performs three different functions to serve patients with a cost-effective space utilizing a wheelchair. The focus was to develop an affordable product considering the poor economic status of the targeted users. A convertible multifunctional wheelchair was developed that can be used as a stretcher and as a regular wheelchair, and it has a pair of crutches to assist in walking. The design and stress-strain analysis of the product was done using SolidWorks 2019. Then, the product was manufactured using the simplest available manufacturing tools and materials. It was possible to fabricate a prototype of this multifunctional at a very cheap cost of BDT 14,250 ($162 approximately). However, it is believed that in mass production, the unit cost can be reduced by 40-50%. The fabricated prototype was lightweight with an average weight of approximately 16 kg allowing it to be portable. The design specifications also ensure ergonomic comfort. It can be contended that this device can be a cost-effective solution for patients and public hospitals in Bangladesh and similar low-income countries.
