Upaya Menurunkan Kadar Ion Logam Besi Pada Air Sumur Dengan Memanfaatkan Arang Ampas Tebu

The levels of iron metal ions in the well water can cause health problems,causing the yellow color on the walls of the bathroom tub and the yellowspots on the clothes. One way of water treatment is by adsorption techniqueusing charcoal from bagasse. The first step is to first determine the level ofiron metal ions in the well water in the village of Palempat, BatulayarDistrict, West Lombok. Furthermore, the well water is contacted with sugarcane bagasse. The manufacture of amphibians includes the samplepreparation process, wash with water, drying in the sun, and the refining at250ºC for 2.5 hours then sieved. The sugarcane bagasse that has been putinto 100mLsampelair well with a mass of 2 grams of adsorbent. Samples werethen stirred at contact time variations of 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 minutes at180 rpm using a batch system. The best contact time used to calculate theefficiency of decreasing iron metal ion content is by calculating the differenceof iron metal ions before adsorption and after adsorption using charcoal ofbagasse. From the research, it was found that iron metal ion content in thesample was 0.1683 ppm. The optimum contact time on iron metal ionadsorption is at 120 minutes contact resulting in optimum adsorptionefficiency in iron metal that is 65.83%.

This study animed to obtain the from and feasibility of teaching materialsinteractive multimedia based on virtual laboratory on colloidal systemconcept for SMA. The development model used in this study was 4D namelyDefine, Design,, Development, And Disseminate. But in this study only cameto Development stage. The velopment result was validated by 2 lecturers, 1teacher and 10 students in Ma Nurul Muhsinin. Based on the assessment oftwo lecturers as validatorn got the average (71,3%) with the appropriatecategory, the validation result from the subject teachers got percentage of(77,7%) with appropriate category, and the limited trial result by 10 studentsgot percentage of (80,8%) with decent category. So it can be concluded thatthe feasibility of interactive multimedia based on virtual laboratory oncolloidal system material for SMA/MA/SMK was feasible to use.
本研究旨在探讨基于胶体系统概念的虚拟实验室教材交互式多媒体的可行性。本研究采用的开发模式为4D,即定义、设计、开发、传播。但在这方面的研究只进入了发展阶段。开发结果由2名讲师、1名教师和10名学生在马努鲁穆辛进行了验证。以两名教师作为验证者的评价为基础,得出了“适宜”类别的平均验证率(71.3%),学科教师的验证率为“适宜”类别的77.7%,10名学生的有限试验结果为“适宜”类别的80.8%。由此可见,基于虚拟实验室肿瘤系统材料的SMA/MA/SMK交互式多媒体应用的可行性是可行的。

Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Kimia Berbasis Android Untuk Penumbuhan Literasi Sains Siswa Pada Materi Reaksi Redoks Dan Elektrokimia 以Android为基础的化学学习媒体促进学生科学素量物质的氧化和电化学反应

The aims of this study were to produce android base chemistrylearning media prototype and evaluate its elibibility andeffectiveness on student science literacy growing on redox reactionand electrochemistry subject material. In form of research anddevelopment, this study was carried out by ADDIE (Analysis,Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evalution)model ofinstructional development. Data was collected by content anddesign validation questionnaire, practitioner and student respondquestionnaire, and science litracy test. Data was analyzed byelegiibility percentega and categories and N-gain test. Study resultshowed that media design and content validity was very eleigiblewith 80 % of eligibility percentage. Practitioner and studentsrespond was very eleigible with 82.22 % and 86.35 % of eligibilitypercentage average respectively. This media effectiveness onstudent literacy growing was proven by N-gain value 0.65 % withfair category. It can be concluded that android base chemistrylearning media that developed was very eligible for chemistylearning application and grow student science literacy on redoxreaction and electrochemistry subject material effectively.

PENGARUH PRAKTIKUM BERWAWASAN LINGKUNGAN DENGAN MODEL INKUIRI TERHADAP SIKAP ILMIAH DAN HASIL BELAJAR 实习对环境的影响与科学态度和学习成果的潜伏期模型

This study aims to determine the effect of the experiment based environmentalon scientific attitude of the student and learning achievement on acidandalkali subject. This study was quasi-experimental with Posttest-Only ControlGroup Design. The sample consists of two intact group, experimental group(learning by experiment based environmental method) and control group(learning by traditional method) choosen by purposive sampling technic. Datacollection of scientific attitude using questionnaires and observation sheets,while learning outcomes data collected by an objective test. Data analyzedwith descriptive statistic and non parametric statistic (Mann Whitney test).The result show that student’s scientific attitude score of experiment group is83.35 at very high category while the control group is 77.82 at the highcategory. The average score of learning achievement 86.40 for experimentalgroup higher than control groupis 70.87. Beside that Mann-Whitney testobtained sig. less than 0.05 (p <0.005). Thus, it can be concluded that theexperiment based environmental methods affect the scientific attitude andstudent learning achievement on acid-base subject.
本研究旨在确定实验环境对酸碱科目学生科学态度和学习成绩的影响。本研究采用纯后测对照组设计,为准实验设计。样本分为两个完整的组,实验组(采用基于实验的环境法学习)和对照组(采用传统方法学习),采用目的抽样技术选择。科学态度数据收集采用问卷调查和观察表,而学习成果数据收集采用客观测试。数据分析采用描述性统计和非参数统计(曼-惠特尼检验)。结果表明,实验组学生科学态度得分在高类别为83.35分,对照组学生科学态度得分在高类别为77.82分。实验组学生学习成绩平均分86.40分,高于对照组的70.87分。此外,Mann-Whitney检验结果小于0.05 (p <0.005)。由此可见,以实验为基础的环境教学方法对酸碱学科的科学态度和学生的学习成绩有一定的影响。

The aims of this study were to produce android base learning media inelements periodic system subject material and to evaluate its eligibility,pratical, and effectiveness to grow student science litaracy. In form ofResearch and Development, this study was carried out by ADDIE Model(Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and evaluation). Data wascollected by respons questionnaire, validaty questionnaire and scienceliteracy test. Data was analyzed by eligiblepercentage, eligiblecategorization, and N-gain test. Study result showed that content validity andmedia design validity was very eleigible with 81.11% and 83.97% ofeligibility respectively. Practicioner and student respon was very eligible with80.95 % and 89.02 % of eligibility respectively. Effectivity trial obtained 0.62of N-gain with moderate category. It can be concluded that android baselearning media was very eligible to applied for students science literacygrowth on elements periodic system learning effectively.

This study aims to determine the effect of POGIL to creative thinking skilland conceptual understanding of students at senior high school. This researchform of quasi experimental was carried out by postest-only control groupdesign. Research conducted in SMAN1 Montong Gading using sample whichdetermined by saturated sampling technique, 24 number of XA class studentsas experiment class, and 24 number of XB class students as control class.Creative thinking skills data was collected by observation sheets andconceptual understanding data by reasoning multiple choices test. The resultsshowed that the average creative thinking skill of experimental class at the 1st,2nd, and 3rdmeeting was 64.388, 72.656, and 79.752.The mean of creativethinking skill of the control class at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rdmeeting was 59.765,67.447, and 73.476.The hypothesis test result of creative thinking skill datausing independent sample t-test it is known that significance value of t-countwas 0.040 < 0.05, and conceptual understaning data by paired sample t-test itis known that significance value of t-count was 0.000 < 0.05. So that, there isinfluence of POGIL model to student creative thinking skill and conceptualunderstanding.

Population growth and industrial development cause oil fuel consumptionincreases, so availability will thinning because it cannot be renewed. So toovercome that the government issued Presidential Decree No.10 of 2006concerning Development of Vegetable Fuels. Biodiesel is one of themrenewable alternative energy sources which are processed from vegetable oilswith use alcohol and NaOH as catalysts through the transesterificationprocess. Used cooking oil is one source of vegetable oil that can used as rawmaterial for making biodiesel through the process transesterification. But theuse of used cooking oil directly without through the adsorption process willaffect the quality of the biodiesel produced. The purpose of this study is todetermine the effect of adsorption time used cooking oil for the quality ofbiodiesel produced from used cooking oil. This research aimed to know thereis or no effect of odsorption time of cooking oil using the clay towardsbiodiesel quality. Object of this research used cooking oil which is adsorptedwith varieties time of adsorption was 0 hour (Control), 12 hours, 36 hoursand 48 hours. Based on the result of research showed that adsorption timehas effect towards quality, where high adsorption time was 12 hours. Qualityof biodiesel has been suitable with SNI. The quality was dencity 0,860 gr/cm3,water degree 0,035% vol, flame coordinate 170oC and acid number 0,71 mgKOH/g oil % the result of biodiesel 55,29%.

Chemical bond sand intermolecular forces have abstract characteristics. Thepresence of technology in learning media can help students understand theconcept. The learning media in question can be in the form of an androidbasedinteractive e-module that provides convenient accessibility for users. Topresent the atmosphere of science learning, the e-module can be structuredwith the orientation of the Nature Of Science. This research and developmentaims to produce an android-based interactive e-module prototype with thenature of science oriented on chemical bonding and intermolecular forcessubject material to foster students' scientific literacy. This type of researchand development study was carried out with the Nieven development modelwhich consisted of 4 stages: (1) preliminary research stage, (2) prototypingstage ,(3) summative evaluation stage, and (4) systematic reflection anddocumentation stage. However, due to limited resources, this study wascarried out until summative evaluation. With the presentation formula andwith the categories, the results of expert validation obtained an averagepresentation of 90% with very feasible categories, and practical test resultson chemistry teachers obtained avalue of 95% with very feasible categoriesand the results of limited group trials obtained 85% with very decentcategory. Therefore, it can be concluded that the interactive e-moduleprototype that developed is very feasible and can be proceed to abroaderstage in fostering students' literacy skills.

Laundry waste contains detergent which can cause water pollution because itcontains various kinds of substances that can affect various waterparameters, especially such as TDS (total dissolved solids) and TSS (totalsuspended solids). To reduce these parameters is done by the coagulationprocess which is adding moringa seed powder as coagulant. Moringa seedscan work as a coagulant because they contain an active substance, 4-alfa-4-rhamnosyloxy-benzil-isothiocyanate. The coagulation process was carried outby varying several coagulation parameters such as the size of the coagulantpowder (Al (80-100mesh) and A2 (100mesh), stirring speed (slow, medium,and fast), settling time (15, 45 and 75 minutes) and mass ratio to samplevolume (100 mg against 100, 150 and 200 mL) .The samples used in thecoagulation process were taken by grab sampling technique and thedetermination of TDS and TSS levels was carried out by the gravimetricmethod. The data showed the size of moringa seed powder coagulant, stirringspeed, settling time and coagulant mass ratio with sample volume influencethe% decrease in TDS and TSS levels, optimum conditions on coagulantpowder size> 100 mesh, moderate stirring speed, 15 minute deposition timeand coagulant mass ratio to sample volume 1: 1 ( mg / L), where% decreasein TDS is 74.07% from 270000 mg / L to 70000 mg / L and TSS of 82.14%from 56000 mg / L to 10000 mg / L.

This development aims to determine the characteristics and feasibility of the oNature of Science (NOS) oriented module On the Chemical Bonds andMolecular Forms subject material through the 4D stage (Define, design,develop and disseminate). This research and development is carried out up tothe stage of development (development) with adjustments based ondevelopment needs. The module prototype was validated by 2 expertvalidator, 1 practitioner validator and 10 students as limited test respondents.Quantitative data were analyzed by percentage formulas and category.Qualitative data in the form of responses and suggestions are used asconsiderations for revisions. The results of expert validation showed anaverage percentage of 92.67% with very good categories of material experts,83.34% with very good categories from product design experts and 76% withgood categories from teacher practitioners. The average response of studentsto the modul prototype is 85.1% with a very good category. This shows thatthe module that developed is feasible to proceed to a large-scale trial phase.
