This study examines the importance of entrepreneurial orientation in relation to innovation and performance within the context of manufacturing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, it looks into the impact of innovation on manufacturing SMEs' performance as well as the impact of entrepreneurial innovation on those SMEs' performance. The research population involved all manufacturing SMEs in Gorontalo Province, Indonesia. Sampling processes apply the nonprobability sampling method. The selection of cluster sampling, involving 150 samples, was carried out purposively. Data analysis was carried out using structural equation modeling with software called Analysis of Moment Structures (Amos). The findings indicate a favorable and statistically significant relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and both innovation and performance in manufacturing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Furthermore, the integration of entrepreneurial orientation and innovation inside small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) operating in the manufacturing sector has been identified as having a substantial and advantageous influence on their overall performance. It is noteworthy that the introduction of innovation within a firm does not have any discernible influence on the operational performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing sector. This study suggests that people involved in manufacturing SMEs must boost their performance by being proactive towards an entrepreneurial orientation. It is recommended for SMEs in Gorontalo City to enhance the implementation of entrepreneurial orientation for the development of their businesses. It is also essential to consider the factors of proactive attitudes, enthusiasm, and risk-taking attitudes.

This research aims to understand how a company’s characteristics influence its disclosure of sustainability-related financial information and how such disclosure affects the company’s value. The study uses three company characteristics as variables: size, profitability, and leverage. The two dependent variables are the quality of sustainability reporting and company value. The research uses a quantitative explanatory method. The study uses sustainability disclosure data, based on the IFRS S1 framework, from 162 companies listed on the sustainability-based stock indexes in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand in 2021. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis. The study results show that only company size influences the quality of sustainability item disclosure, while profitability and leverage have no effect. The quality of sustainability item disclosure has a positive effect on company value. This study shows that sustainability disclosure in financial reports can increase a company’s value in the eyes of investors, but significant efforts are still needed to improve the quality of such disclosure. The findings indicate that the size of a firm has a significant impact on the expenses associated with publishing sustainability information. However, the company's performance does not have a similar relationship.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that motivate people in Malaysia to interact with chatbots in their everyday lives. Because of this, the primary objective of this study was to determine the relationships between four different independent variables. These variables were perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, social influence, and security concerns. The objectives of this research project have been accomplished through the collection of primary data using a survey developed in Google Forms and a Likert scale with five points. The general population of Malaysia served as the source for the samples taken. A total of 284 samples were collected through the use of a method called convenience sampling. Customers based in Malaysia who are already making use of chatbots make up the population of interest in this study. In order to verify the validity of the hypothesis, additional analysis of the data was carried out using the software programme Smart-PLS 4. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, also known as UTAUT, was used as the basis for the modelling of the research effort that was conducted for this investigation. This study acknowledged that there were some limitations and offered several suggestions for how future research and business owners, particularly those engaged in e-commerce, can improve their competitive advantage. Those who participate in online business were singled out for special consideration.

The methodology for this study was quantitative research. A total of 319 employees who completed an online survey examining innovation management (IM) and the leader's intellectual arousal (LIA) were included in the sample. The results revealed that there is a positive, statistically significant relationship between innovation management and the leader’s intellectual arousal. IM has a crucial role in fostering and encouraging LIA. The study offered a thorough insight into the leader's personal conduct as seen by followers. This study added new scientific understanding to a subject that had previously only been studied by subordinates, as well as new information to the notion of innovation management. The results show that enhancing innovation management is an effective strategy to raise a leader's intellectual arousal, which could ultimately increase both individual and organizational performance. The need for courage, justice, wisdom, and humanity in the leader as a necessary condition for knowledge management efficacy is the study's main point of emphasis.

Renewable energy has emerged as a climate-friendly development alternative to provide clean and reliable energy access. However, the long-term sustainability of off-grid-based applications for productive and income-generating activities remains in suspect as it is an emerging area of development and has yet to be extensively studied for sustainability. With this background, this paper proposes a new framework for the assessment of the sustainability of productive use of off-grid energy based on technical, economic, social, institutional, and environmental dimensions. To ensure it is deeply rooted in practice, a survey-based study of a women-collective from rural India was conducted using the proposed framework. The results indicated that capacity development, participatory approaches, need assessment, and regular cash flows were a few of the important indicators for sustainability of operations. Further, it was also observed that sustainability and socio-economic benefits were intertwined and complementary. The Indian Government envisions a substantial role for renewable energy-enabled productive use to address infrastructure bottlenecks, development issues, and climate change related goals. In this context, the proposed framework would be useful for assessing the sustainability of such interventions for their longevity while accruing socio-economic benefits to the users.

This study aims to investigate the factors contributing to online impulsive and online compulsive buying behaviours among Vietnamese consumers, given the increasing prevalence of online shopping. A survey of 562 participants (104 offline and 548 online) and Partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) were recruited to empirically examine the proposed research model. We found that (1) Performance Expectancy, Facilitating Conditions, Social Influence, Effort Expectancy and Stimulus shared positive relations with Online Buying Intention; (2) Scarcity posed significant impact on both Online Impulsive and Compulsive Buying Behaviors; (3) Online Buying Intention was only a key determinant of Online Impulsive Buying Behavior; and (4) Online Impulsive Buying proved to be a significant predictor of Online Compulsive Buying Behavior. By integrating the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model with Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) framework, the research revealed a meaningful underlying mechanism regarding how consumers’ technological acceptance, platforms’ stimulus, and scarcity can motivate their actual impulsive and compulsive purchasing behaviors in prevalent online settings. Platform designers should offer more and more technological usefulness and conveniences to increase consumers’ online buying intentions, while marketers should consider scarcity as the focal point of their strategies.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between key drivers of effective management of professional employees in Malaysian universities. We adapt McGregor's Theory of X and Y to identify three key drivers: employee feedback, reward, and work freedom. Utilizing a cross-sectional design, the research instruments for this study were derived from prior studies. A total of 156 online questionnaires were collected from professional employees working at Malaysian universities. We tested the research hypotheses using SPSS Version 26.0. The findings of the analysis demonstrate that each of the primary factors, namely employee feedback, reward, and work freedom, exhibits a statistically significant and positive influence on the attainment of effective management. This study demonstrates that effective management, which directly affects the professionalism of university employees, is significantly influenced by employee feedback, reward, and work freedom. The study's findings have crucial implications for policymakers and other stakeholders in the education sector. The results can be utilized to develop comprehensive guidelines that promote effective management and enhance professionalism among university employees.

This paper aims to investigate the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on stock market growth in Pakistan from 1990 to 2020. The study aims to evaluate the impact of FDI on stock market growth in both the short and long term, as well as examine the impact of economic growth on stock market growth. The study uses an Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to analyze the long-term impacts of FDI on the stock market and an Error Correction Model (ECM) to evaluate the short-term impact. The study reveals a substantively significant and positive influence of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on the growth of the stock market, observed from both a short-term and long-term perspective. Gross National Income (GNI) and Exchange Rate (ER) also have a significant bearing on stock market growth, while Interest Rate (IR) is found to have a negative impact but is statistically insignificant. The findings also confirm the impact of economic growth on stock market development, establishing a triangular relationship between FDI, Economic Growth, and Stock Market Growth. The study concludes that FDI has a significant positive impact on stock market growth in Pakistan in both the short and long term. It further suggests that macroeconomic policies should be developed and a tax-free market environment should be created to stimulate and encourage foreign direct investment for economic growth and stock market growth. The study's policy implications suggest that government officials should implement viable macroeconomic policies and create a tax-free market environment to encourage foreign direct investment for economic and stock market growth in Pakistan.

Sustainable finance is one way to realize a new paradigm of sustainable development that incorporates social and environmental issues into economic calculations. However, in its implementation, each country faces different challenges in making and implementing policies to support sustainable finance. This study will analyze the public perception of Muslim-majority and Muslim-minority countries towards the implementation of sustainable finance in their respective countries and then analyze the stages of implementing sustainable finance. To analyze the level of implementation of sustainable finance, this study uses the concept of Attention-Interest-Desire-Action (AIDA). To collect data about the object of research using the methods of content analysis and field studies. Content analysis is all the efforts made by researchers in gathering information relevant to documents that explain the background of the existence of sustainable finance and its implementation in several countries. The field study is used to collect primary data regarding perceptions related to the context of sustainable finance, which can be used to determine the proportion of activities that substantially contribute to environmental objectives (climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts). Research results show that there is no difference in the views of respondents as development stakeholders regarding the implementation of sustainable finance in both Muslim-majority and minority countries. The majority of the two categories of country groups are still at the interest stage, reflected in high scores in normative statements and low scores in positive statements that describe real activities in running a sustainable finance system.

The highway infrastructure system plays an important role in a country whose continental extensions require an adequate transportation system to connect people and places and boost the economy. Delayed delivery of these projects is one of the most significant problems in the road construction industry and poses challenges to project success in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety. Some studies have carried out literature reviews, applied questionnaires and performed expert interviews, or used analytical methods such as machine learning and AHP (Analytic Hieraquircal Process) to identify factors that cause delays. The objective of this study was to identify the main delay factors in road infrastructure projects using the AHP analytic hierarchy process approach in the context of public works management in Brazil. This study consisted of two stages, the first being a search in databases and search engines, using keywords that point to studies on delay factors in road construction projects. After this, the criteria and sub-criteria were examined and classified, and the factors and causes of delays were ranked based on discussions with an expert and the application of a questionnaire, according to the AHP methodology. The supporting software used was SuperDecisions. The main factors (criteria) and sub-factors (sub-criteria) that influence delay were categorized according to the literature. The main factors were compiled into five criteria called: principal contractor, designer, manager, material/manpower/equipment, and external factors. Within these groups, 24 sub-factors that most influenced delay were initially selected. But after the consistency tests were not acceptable, a new selection was made, which considered in the analysis the 15 most influential sub-factors. According to the experts, the order of importance was: Contractor>External Factors>Materials>Manpower and Equipment>Manager>Designer. The most important sub-criterion according to the specialists in causing delays in Brazilian road infrastructure projects was climate. The study pointed out which factors should have priority in decision-making to avoid delays in public, government-funded road transportation projects in Brazil. By applying it, one can arrive at the variables that can be used to develop a prediction model that helps mitigate the risks of delay in public road infrastructure projects.
