Phyllanthus niruri has many pharmacological activities such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticancer. Phyllanthus niruri has been widely developed from extracts into herbal products. The flavonoid quercetin became an analytical marker compound to ensure the quality of P. niruri extracts in the Indonesian herbal pharmacopeia II. This study aimed to determine the levels of quercetin in extract and herbal products using the TLC Densitometry method. TLC Densitometry method using chloroform: ethyl acetate: formic acid (5:4:1) as the mobile phase and silica GF254 as the stationary phase. The Rf value of the quercetin compound obtained is 0.50. The Rs quercetin is 1.56 in the extract and 2.55 in the product. The maximum wavelength for quercetin is 366 nm. The results of quercetin levels were 3.579% in the extract and 0.0412% in herbal products. The TLC densitometry method can analyze quercetin in extracts and herbal products.

One of the religious therapies in the life of Muslims is ruqyah. Ruqyah is a prayer accompanied by dhikr to Allah Almighty by reciting the holy verses of the Quran and hadith. Ruqyah is used to cure mental disorders, physical illnesses, and other conditions. This study aims to learn more about ruqyah in Islam, which is used as an alternative treatment. The method used to prepare this article is a literature study from national and international scientific journals. The study results in a show that ruqyah can be done if it does not contain elements of shirk and is recommended as a treatment because the reading of ruqyah contained verses of the Qur'an as a cure for all diseases.

Muslims have the holy book Al-Quran and Hadith as the main source of law in various issues, including health. One of the medical therapies mentioned in the Al-Qur'an and Hadith is cupping, which removes dirty blood from the body through a wound process carried out on the surface of the skin. This study aims to discover the history of cupping until it becomes a form of health therapy as well as views from the Islamic and medical side of cupping therapy. The method used is a literature study. Cupping therapy has existed since ancient Egypt and developed in various civilizations in various countries in the world, from Egypt, China, Europe, and America. The law of cupping in Islam is permissible and has been found in the books of nine hadith figures, special discussion of cupping is mentioned 275 times. The Prophet SAW recommended cupping in the middle of the month or after the middle of the month, but it is customary to do it in the third week. Cupping therapy in the medical world is explained using the approach of traditional medicine and modern medicine. Both agree that cupping therapy at certain points in the body can cure several diseases where the cupping is done or far from the area where the cupping is done. The benefits of cupping from a medical point of view are curing local ailments (neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, headaches, and migraines) and systematic diseases (Diabetes mellitus, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis). In cupping therapy, it is mandatory to carry out infection control (washing hands before starting therapy, wearing complete PPE, disinfecting the skin and the place of therapy, managing waste, and trying to use disposable therapy equipment).

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that occurs due to the failure of the pancreas to produce sufficient insulin, or the body cannot use the insulin it makes effectively. The HbA1c (glycated hemoglobin) levels show an alteration in blood glucose levels in people with diabetes. As a traditional medicine, the kesambi plant (Schleichera oleosa L.) can improve diabetic people's health due to its secondary compounds, such as alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, steroids, and phenolic compounds, besides several empirically proven as antiulcer, anticancer, and antimicrobial effects. The study aimed to determine the effect of the ethanol extract of Kesambi leaves on HbA1c levels in alloxan-induced rats. This research used a posttest-only design method, using 18 rats divided into six groups of mice and induced by alloxan 150 mg/kg in intraperitoneal with the division of groups: group I without treatment; group II alloxan + Na CMC; group III alloxan + glibenclamide; groups IV, V, and VI, given alloxan + kesambi leaf extract 200, 400, and 600 mg/kg BW, respectively. All treatments were given orally for 23 days. HbA1c values were measured on day 24 using the Afinion HbA1c. The data obtained were analyzed using the method of comparing the measurement results of each group against the control group. The results showed that the 200, 400, and 600 mg extracts affected HbA1c levels with successive values of 5.47%, 5.37%, and 5.47% compared to the control group, namely 5.10%. This study concluded that giving kesambi leaf ethanol extract can affect HbA1c levels.

In the world of health, it is known that alternative medicine in the style of Rasulullah SAW is known as At-Thibb Al-Nabawi; one example is cupping therapy. The purpose of preparing this paper is to master the meaning of cupping, the procedures for carrying out cupping, and knowing the urgency and virtues of cupping. The research method used is a literature study. Cupping is the oldest traditional medicine method in the world, believed to have existed since 3000 BC. It aims to remove blood contaminated with toxins resulting from metabolism through the skin's surface by using a tube or glass placed on the skin's surface as a place to collect the dirty blood. There are five types of cupping: dry cupping, wet cupping, sliding cupping, fire cupping, and synergy cupping. Cupping features include pain relief, increasing blood circulation, lowering blood pressure, overcoming cardiovascular disease, lowering cholesterol, treating diabetes mellitus, and many more.

The pomegranate is one of the many fruits mentioned by Allah SWT. in the Koran. Namely Q.S. Al-An'am verse 99 and Q.S. Ar-Rahman verse 68, with the term Al-rumman (Arabic). The pomegranate is special because it is one of the fruits of heaven. And when viewed from the world of empirical science, it turns out that almost all parts of this plant benefit the human body's health. Some important ingredients in pomegranate, such as vitamin C, ellagitannin (tannin), triterpenoids, flavonoids, and alkaloids, can function as antioxidants, antibacterials, antidiabetics and prevent cancer cells. Writing this article is expected to be able to enrich the treasures of modern health, which tends to be left only in the medical world, in addition to being an enrichment of knowledge about pomegranates both from an Islamic and health (medical) point of view.

Emodin (1,3,8-trihydroxy-6-methyl-9,10-anthraquinone) is an anthraquinone bioactive compound used as a lead compound because it exhibits potential anticancer properties. Structural modifications were made at the C3 position and its relationship to cytotoxic activity against the HepG2 cell line to determine the pharmacophore group of this compound. The hydroxy group at C3 emodin is converted to an ester group to produce 3-acetyl emodin. In addition, docking simulations into the cancer target protein casein kinase-2 were also carried out to predict molecular interactions. Emodin was reacted with anhydrous acetate and confirmed the product confirmation using LCMS/MS, FTIR, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR. Emodin and 3-acetyl emodin were tested for cytotoxicity against HepG2 cells in vitro. Cytotoxic emodin and 3-acetyl emodin tests on HepG2 cells resulted in Cytotoxic concentrations 50 (CC50) of 0.54 mM and 0.42 mM, respectively. The results showed that modifying the C3 hydroxyl group with acetyl can increase the cytotoxic effect more than emodin. This research is expected to provide information regarding the structure-activity relationship of emodin in cancer cells and the expansion of new drug applications for additional cancers.

Parkinson's disease (PD) can be triggered by overactive TLR2 due to α-synuclein abnormalities and aggregation. Marsilea crenata C. Presl. leaves inhibit neuroinflammatory progression. This study aimed to predict the antineuroinflammatory activity of M. crenata leaves with TLR2 (ID 3A7B) in an in silico study. The list of chemicals was collected through metabolite profiling with UPLC-QToF MS/MS, then analyzed for physicochemical properties using SwissADME and toxicity using the ProTox II online program. This analysis confirmed the molecule's safety for therapeutic use. ChemDraw 12.0 was used to build metabolite-profiled compounds. Avogadro 1.2.0 was utilized to optimize geometry, while PyRx 0.8 was used for Autodock Vina molecular docking. Agonist-TLR2 interactions were examined using docking results from Biovia Discovery Studio 2021. Tethering is valid; the program can be used because the RMSD is less than 2. Diabetes Mellitus is a condition where the body's sugar level exceeds the blood's normal limit. Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is the most common type of diabetes and is a chronic disease caused by insulin resistance and beta-cell dysfunction, resulting in decreased insulin sensitivity. The management of diabetes Mellitus is in the form of oral hypoglycemic drugs. Still, these drugs have side effects such as gastrointestinal disturbances, nausea, vomiting, hypoglycemia, macrovascular disorders, microvascular disorders, etc. So, it is necessary to seek alternative drugs to increase insulin sensitivity to lower blood sugar levels which are safer using herbal plants. One of the suspected plants that can be an alternative medicine to reduce excess blood sugar levels is the dandang gendis plant (Clinacanthus nutans). The dandang gendis plant (Clinacanthus nutans) contains palmitic acid, which can reduce excess blood sugar levels in the blood. This study aims to determine the potential of palmitic acid compounds from the Dandang gendis plant as an in silico AMPK protein activator. Methods: Qualitative descriptive method using molecular docking in silico method to determine the affinity and interaction with palmitic acid compounds in the dandang gendis plant in activating AMPK protein. Docking between palmitic acid and AMPK produces an energy value (∆Gbind) of -5.3 kcal/mol. docking of metformin resulted in the lowest energy value (∆Gbind) of 5.1 kcal/mol. The bond produced by palmitic acid docking has a fairly strong affinity for the AMPK protein of -5.3 kcal/mol. So palmitic acid, an ingredient in the dandang gendis plant (Clinacanthus nutans) has the potential as an antidiabetic.

Islamic teachings explain that food or beverage should not be consumed with more than 0.5% alcohol because it is categorized as khamr, which is unlawful. In determining the levels of foods or beverages that contain alcohol, one of which is the gas chromatography method with several aspects of the method validation used. So that it can be seen how halal food or beverage is. The purpose of this scoping review is to map the available evidence related to the optimum conditions of analysis of alcohol content in a food product by gas chromatography and obtain a method of analyzing alcohol content in food products with several parameters validation methods, including selectivity, linearity, the limit of detection, precision, and accuracy. This scoping review has followed the framework of Arksey and O'Malley, which consists of identifying the problem formulation from the literature review; seeking relevant evidence; completing studies of relevant scientific articles; mapping data; conclude and reporting results. PRISMA flowchart diagram is used for the flow of evidence search. The results of this review show that there are 6 research articles obtained from the database. This review shows that the analysis of alcohol content using the gas chromatography method has high sensitivity, accuracy, validity, and recovery. It is hoped that this scoping review can be used as a reference and theoretical basis in analyzing food products using the gas chromatography method with several aspects of validity.
