Mining Core Motivations among Motivational Agents 挖掘动机主体的核心动机

Motivation is an important factor in reasoning about rational behavior of intelligent agents and analyzing the property of social network circles. Recent study on motivational agent paid their main attention on the mechanism of reasoning and multi-agent Cooperation. How motivation affects the internal structure of the allied agent groups are less considered. This paper proposes a methodology for motivational agent clustering, cohesion property analyzing and core motivational agent identifying. The methodology first finds clustered agents from the underlying graph that captures the similarity based interconnection topology of the agents. Then, the subgroups of agents that have high degrees of connectivity are extracted which can be thought of as the key representatives of the whole agent clusters. Our empirical results on real survey data and simulation platform show that our method is quite favorable for clearly partitioning large body of motivational agents and helping the analyzer to identify internal structure of the agent groups. Our algorithms can be adapted in various ways for social network behavior analyzing, intrusion detection and marketplace bidding strategy designing.

Applying Genetic Algorithm Combining Operation Tree (GAOT) for Estimating Salinity of Taiwan Strait Using MODIS/Terra 应用遗传算法结合操作树(GAOT)估算台湾海峡MODIS/Terra盐度

This paper proposes genetic algorithm combining operation tree (GAOT) and applies it to estimate the sea salinity of Taiwan Strait (TS) using MODIS/Terra data. GAOT is a data mining method, used to automatically discover the relationships among nonlinear systems. The main advantage of GAOT is to optimize appropriate types of function and their associated coefficients simultaneously. In the case study, this GAOT described above combining with MODIS/Terra seven bands was employed. These results are then verified with in situ sea salinity data of TS. The results show that the GAOT generates accurate multi-variable equation and has better performance than linear regression (LR) method.

ActorGame: Game Semantics for Actors ActorGame:演员的游戏语义

Game semantics is suitable to model interactions between the environment (modeled as opponent role) and the system (modeled as player role), and has gained great successes in which the behaviors of the system and the environment are explicitly distinguished. In this paper, game semantics model (exactly asynchronous game) is introduced into the actors which is called Actor Game. The characteristics of actor computation model, such as receiving messages, sending messages and creating new actors, are well interpreted in Actor Game. And also composition of Actor Games and category of Actor Games are concerned. Both the Actor Game, composition of Actor Games, and category of Actor Games have good properties.

Circuit Simulation for Wireless Mini-drifting Buoy in Shallow Sea 浅海无线微型漂流浮标的电路仿真

Ocean buoys is an important tool of Marine Environmental Monitoring, The design of drifting buoy plays a significant role in field of shallow sea environmental monitoring. In order to solve the problem that the shallow marine physical parameters acquisition costs are high and the accuracy of data is low, this paper designed a mini-drifting buoy in shallow sea based on AT89S51 single-chip microcomputer, which were used in measuring shallow seawater temperature, salinity and depth. It is low cost and easy to move. It is not only can wireless remote control, but also can " Beidou " positioning. Moreover, the data is accurate and the mini-drifting buoys in shallow sea can return real-time data as soon as possible.

Research on Vehicle Detection in High Resolution Satellite Images 高分辨率卫星图像中车辆检测的研究

With the improvement of satellite resolution and the object-oriented detection method in satellite images, traffic data can be more quickly and widely acquired in large area satellite images compared with the traditional data acquired method. With the technology of image enhancement, the paper improved the image quality first, and then utilized the multi-scale segmentation technology and supervised classification method to detect the vehicle from satellite images. In the process, three classification decision trees for vehicles in different situations have been summed up. At last, the paper has achieved the empirical research using the remote sensing images of typical regions in the urban road from Worldview-2 and the GeoEye-1. Based on the precision analysis of the experimental results, it shows that the average accuracy is more than 90%.

The paper aims at providing an intelligent driver assistance system on mobile devices, which is mainly composed of the two parts - off road warning and distance warning of front vehicles. In this application, the paper proposes an efficient lane and front vehicles detection and tracking method which has been experiments on mobile phones. The method is proved to be efficient and practical even though the compute capacity is limited on mobile phones.

Simulating Optimal Control of an Inertial Platform Stabilization Loop Using Genetic Algorithms 用遗传算法模拟惯性平台稳定回路的最优控制

Inertial platform stabilization loop is required with good quickness, high steady precision, strong anti-jamming capability, etc. at the same time, and the traditional PID control is difficult to meet index requirements of the good control performance. Stabilization loop of inertial navigation system platform is treated as a study object, and the mathematical model is built with dynamic loop according to the position of PID controller. Based on the self-adaptive online genetic algorithm tuning, PID control strategy is proposed, and the PID parameters are optimized, and loop model is simulated with MATLAB software. The result of simulation shows that since PID controller is adopted after the genetic algorithm optimization, system control precision, stability and response speed have been improved, enhancing the robustness.

Fast Removal of Stripe Noise Based on Wavelet Decomposition 基于小波分解的条纹噪声快速去除

Vertical stripe noise, also called waterfall artifact, is generally occurred in the line scan images. It degrades the image quality and leads to object misrecognition. This paper presents a new approach for removal of vertical stripe noise using multi-resolution wavelet decomposition. The line scan image was firstly decomposed in highest L levels using wavelet decomposition. Then the vertical component in each decomposition level was discarded to remove the stripe noise. Finally, the destriped image was reconstructed from the L level processed components. The results indicate that the proposed approach can eliminate the stripe noise effectively from the polluted image.

Multiple Unmanned Vehicle Operations in Confined Areas 在密闭区域内的多种无人驾驶车辆操作

The aim of the research is to study the dynamics of multiple unmanned air/ground/surface vehicles (UXV) operating in confined areas. A simple model of the UXV dynamics is first derived, and the expected time of first collision is then formulated using the concept of a mean free path from molecular dynamics. Monte-Carlo simulation is performed to verify the theory developed. In our formulation, the expected time of first collision is a function of number of UXVs, the UXV speed and sensor field of view (FOV) for a given operational area and vehicle size. From 1000 simulation runs for each set of operating conditions, a regression analysis was performed using the theoretical formula and a close fit with residuals of around 5% was obtained. The theory predicts that the expected time of first collision decreases at a decreasing rate when the number of vehicles and the speed increase, and will increase at an increasing rate when the FOV becomes larger. Furthermore, there is a critical number of UXVs, above which collision can be deemed to occur instantaneously. The results will be useful for the planning of UXV operations in confined areas.

Monte-Carlo simulation is performed to verify the theory developed. In our formulation, the expected time of first collision is a function of number of UXVs, the UXV speed and sensor field of view (FOV) for a given operational area and vehicle size. From 1000 simulation runs for each set of operating conditions, a regression analysis was performed using the theoretical formula and a close fit with residuals of around 5% was obtained. The theory predicts that the expected time of first collision decreases at a decreasing rate when the number of vehicles and the speed increase, and will increase at an increasing rate when the FOV becomes larger. Furthermore, there is a critical number of UXVs, above which collision can be deemed to occur instantaneously. Optimized Workforce Scheduling in Bus Transit Companies 公交公司优化劳动力调度

Workforce scheduling has become increasingly important for both the public sector and private companies. Optimized shifts and rosters lower costs, utilize resources more effectively and ensure fairer workloads and distribution of shifts. This paper presents our work with workforce scheduling in bus transit companies. We present the workforce scheduling process in these companies and give an example of an optimized real-world staff rostering instance. We also give an outline of the PEAST algorithm which we use to tackle workforce scheduling problems. The algorithm has been successfully used to solve workforce scheduling problems in Finnish bus transit companies. The algorithm has been integrated into market-leading workforce management software in Finland.
