Indoor localization systems, especially its accuracy, have become a major topic in recent research. Moreover, location-based services have been used in many mobile applications and wireless sensor networks. High accuracy and fast convergence are crucial requirements for a good localization system. However, the type of obtained received signal strength (RSS) data is vital to obtain high accuracy. In this paper, we perform a simulation and an experimental analysis for an indoor localization system. Moreover, 2D and 3D localization models are considered to investigate the localization error. The simulation is de veloped to provide an accurate RSS compared with an experimental testbed by considering the multiwall path loss model. Results demonstrate that the simulated RSS data are consistent with the experimental RSS data; that is, the simulated data almost have same distribution form as the experimental data. Therefore, the simulation can be used to develop high-accuracy localization systems.

Due to exposure to direct sunlight, rooftop PV panels often suffers from heating. Performance of monocrystalline photovoltaic (MCPV) cell/panel is affected by its thermal properties, therefore, this research aims to measure the performance of MCPV through 2-dimensional heat mapping to determine the most efficient cooling scheme for the PV to maintain its most optimum performance. The measurement, mapping, and calculation is conducted on an array of experimental rooftop PV panel installed on a building, heat mapping data is taken from 55 points on PV surface. Measurement result shows that the high temperature of the MCPV panel is around 58,6oC - 64,7oC. Based on the results, the recommendation of temperature sensor placement for the cooling process is located at point 23 and 47.

To censor an inappropriate scene in a movie take a long time to process. The aim of this research is to design and to implement a working tested faster model of a censor system compared to a censor using a video editing method. This method demonstrates a Linear Satellite Pay Television Direct to Home, so it will be able to censor for an Inappropriate movie scene such as porn, violence, and radicalize content effectively and efficiently. Censor system becomes easy to implement without cutting and re-render the original movie file, and faster compare to re-encode the movie file. Satellite Pay Television operator can easily censor its content and align with Indonesian Broadcasting Law Number 44 2008 about pornography. We create the application to shorten the process of the re-encodes after censoring the inappropriate scene in a movie called Vlarm.

The music genre is a categorical label created by humans to describe music. Huge digital music nowadays makes the classification process manually requires much effort and time. Hence, an automatic system that is capable of classifying musical genres is needed. Most systems are commonly developed using Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) but they give low accuracies. A new system is proposed here using Melspectogram and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with a voting scheme. The Melspectogram provides a better representation than MFCC since it gives various information about music, such as frequency, time, amplitude, etc. It is used as an input for training CNN to develop some unique patterns in each musical genre. Evaluation on the GTZAN dataset shows that the proposed system is capable of predicting music genres, where voting scheme produces a higher accuracy of 71.87% than the commonly used single scheme that gives an accuracy of 63.49%.

This study designs a Supply Chain Management (SCM) system using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) based on a green accounting module. ERP is an information system that can integrate, monitor, and record every process and transaction in the company. This study also uses literature related to the application of environmental quality management and green standards in Indonesia. The result of this study is an ERP system design using open source software and green accounting modules and will integrate cost, environmental, and social aspects to enhance sustainable industry and increase its value. This study resulted in several user requirements, system requirements, and made into the proposed business process design. Then, the system designed will be developed and will be implemented if needed by the user of the system.

In a variety of software development methods and their models of the activity process, no one does not have testing activities in their application. System testing is the last phase of testing that done by the developer in the internal work- space. However, phase of testing is not the end of the whole testing phase, since there is another stage to pass before the product deployment process, it is the acceptance testing. A popular method to perform the user acceptance testing is the usability testing, which in this method, the result provides the indication of the essential quality for the client to decide whether to approve or to deny the product. In this research of paper, we are going to do the usability testing by utilizing the System Usability Scale technique and the Net Promoter Score technique to measure appropriateness of the population information systems in the city of Tegal while we are also finding optimum testers required using the sampling technique. The result we earn trough this research is according to the Usability Testing result the proposed system developed by researchers is better than the current running system and the total testers participating on system testing is able to optimize using the sampling method.

The implementation of industry 4.0 to integrate various infrastructures is inseparable from the application of sensors, which is then followed by intensive data analysis. One form of the applications is the work error detection system for the industrial machine with the Fog Computing concept. In this study, the Fog Computing architecture was studied to support infrastructure integration for the development of smart industries. This study covers sensor network architecture, device communication, and smart computing with a robotic arm infrastructure. The sensor is installed to monitor the work process of the robot arm; then, the measurement values obtained sent to the fog device for analysis. The results of the analysis to determine the movement patterns then classified by the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. The result of the system is that it can detect the movement of a robot arm. The test results of this study showed an average accuracy of 90%. Therefore this research can later be used as an initial demonstration and real learning to applied to other machine components and services in supporting the application of smart industries, especially in Indonesia, in the future.

Currently, search engine websites are often used by people in searching for information about the profession. Such information can help job seekers to develop training strategies to master the competence of job skills, so that job seekers get jobs that match their competencies. Thus, this research develops a website that can be used to search professional information based on the name of the profession or competence in the field of Information Technology in the domain of the National Occupational Map of ICT mapped with ontology. Ontology is a hierarchical structure that describes a domain used as a representation of a knowledge base. Ontology design method used in this research is Seven Step method. Implementation of ontology using Protégé 5.2 tool as an ontology editor, while for the implementation of ontology into the web used XML. Search on the website is done based on keywords that are input by the user, the keyword can be a profession or competence. Based on the results of trials conducted, the website created able to provide information about the profession in the field of Information Technology, the use of ontology also makes the information submitted to be more structured.

Fire is a flame, whether it is small or large, an undesirable place, situation and time. In general, every place has the potential to experience a fire. But at this time, the smoke sensors are the most widely used devices to detect fires. Where the smoke sensors can only detect fires if the fire is large. So that a system is needed to detect early fires. In this paper, an image-based fire alarm system is designed, using a laptop and webcam as the main equipment. The method for using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to identify fire. The system created has an accuracy rate of 92%.

In 2015, five universities (University of Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung, University of Gadjah Mada, University of Brawijaya, and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember) took the initiative to build Indonesian Research and Education Network (IDREN) by building networks between universities in collaboration with Internet Service Providers (ISP). This paper presents the network architecture of IDREN. It discusses the collaborative action offered to ISPs that decouples the responsibility of managing the Layer 2 and Layer 3 connections from the IDREN gateway to research or educational institutes. The IDREN team manages the Layer 2 connection, whereas each ISP team manages the Layer 3 connection. The upstream connectivity to other RENs is managed via INHERENT gateway to TEIN4, which is supported by the Government.
