Two new distribution records of Dendrobium (Orchidaceae), with an updated checklist of Dendrobium for Laos 两份新的石斛(兰科)分布记录,并附有更新的老挝石斛名录

Two new records of Dendrobium, D. daklakense, and D. metrium, are reported for the flora of Laos for the first time. Photographs, information on habitat and ecology, vernacular names and additional notes for each species are given based on collections from Dak Cheung Plateau, Sekong Province (D. daklakense), and Phou Khao Khouay National Park, Vientiane Province (D. metrium). An updated checklist with classification section of Dendrobium in Laos is also provided.

Tarenna thorelii is reported as a new record for Thailand based on collections from Khon Kaen and Roi Et Provinces. A morphological description based on Thai specimens, distribution, ecological information, conservation status, and short notes on the species as well as an illustration are provided. In addition, a lectotype for T. thorelii is proposed.

Cheirostylis takeoi (Orchidaceae), a new record for Thailand 泰国兰科植物竹花新纪录

Cheirostylis takeoi, a new national species record from Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, northern Thailand, is described, photographed and illustrated based on Thai material. Furthermore, we outline how it differs from the morphologically most similar species in Thailand, C. thailandica. The newly recorded species is mainly characterized by its narrowly oblong-lanceolate, obtuse to subacute, entire, strongly recurved labellum that lacks appendages inside the slightly concave base.

In preparation for the Flora of Thailand account for part of the Melastomataceae (former Memecylaceae), three new species, one new variety, one newly recorded species for Thailand in the genus Memecylon are presented. The new taxa are: M. aurantifolium, M. khimao, M. bailek, and M. corticosum var. parvifolium.

Pentaphragmataceae in Thailand is revised and a total of five species are recognised. A new species from Narathiwat, Penthaphragma narathiwatense, is described and illustrated. Penthaphragma poilanei is a new species record for Thailand. Penthaphragma winitii is synonymised under Penthaphragma sinense. A key to the Thai species, along with descriptions, distribution information, ecology and preliminary conservation assessments, are provided for all species.

Eight new species of Microchirita (Gesneriaceae) from Thailand are described: Microchirita candida, M. chonburiensis, M. formosa, M. fuscifaucia, M. poomae, M. rayongensis, M. striata and M. suwatii. With the addition of these species, 37 species are now recorded for Thailand, considerably more than any other country.

Amorphophallus coudercii is reported as a new record from Nakhon Phanom Province, North-Eastern Thailand. The species is characterized by having a long tuber, a male floral zone contiguous to the female zone, the absence of an appendix, and the presence of warts on the adaxial side near the base of the spathe. Detailed descriptions based on recently collected plant materials, as well as notes on the distribution and ecology, and photographs are presented.
