Notocupes is a speciose genus of Mesozoic Archostemata, currently including 69 species. Due to its distinct morphological heterogeneity and polyphyly it is advised to split Notocupes into four genera based on full body imprints: Notocupes Ponomarenko, 1964, Rhabdocupes Ponomarenko, 1966, Conexicoxa Lin, 1986, stat. resurr. and Brachilatus Strelnikova et Yan, gen. n. The genus Zygadenia Handlirsch, 1906 is proposed for isolated elytra, morphologically similar to those of four aforementioned genera. Notocupes patulus is transferred to Odontomma Ren et al., 2006 as O. patula (Ponomarenko, 1985), comb. n. Individual characters, such as body cuticular tuberculation are discussed in detail as a promising diagnostic feature to separate genera and possibly also species. The expanded diagnoses for five genera and keys to species of these genera are given. New combinations are proposed for thirty-seven species.
Brachilatus Strelnikova et Yan, gen. n.。

A new genus and species of araneoid spiders, Bharatasoma eskovi gen. et sp. n., are described based on the holotype female from Himachal Pradesh, northern India. The new genus resembles the Neotropical genus Chthonos Coddington, 1986 (Theridiosomatidae) by having tibiae, metatarsi and tarsi of legs I and II armed with prolateral row of stiff (i.e., not flexible) setae forming catching basket, and some other shared characters. The new genus has several characters unknown in other theridiosomatid genera and therefore is placed conditionally in this family. Distribution limits of Theridiosomatidae in the Northern Hemisphere are briefly discussed.

Three taxa are considered: Clytus arietoides Reitter, 1900, C. nigritulus Kraatz, 1879 and C. venustulus Plavilstshikov, 1940, stat. resurr. Photographs of the types of two problematic species C. nigritulus and C. venustulus are included, as well as a photo of the holotype of C. fulvohirsutus Pic, 1904. References are given to the original publications of all names, as well as to their references in the literature. A key is presented to distinguish between the three species. Each species is briefly described with a set of photographs of specimens from various parts of the range.

Sensory structures and their patterns are investigated by scanning electron microscopy in 38 species representing ten families of the suborder Annuli-palpia (Trichoptera). Palp sensilla comprise seven types: long trichoid, chaetoid, campaniform, mushroom-like pseudoplacoid, petaloid, thick basiconic, and thin basiconic sensilla. Comparative analysis suggests the presence of family-specific patterns of the palp sensory surfaces. Palp sensilla and their sensory patterns persist in the instances of partial palp reduction. Considerations on the evolution trends, functionality, and taxonomic importance of palp sensory structures are provided.

The rare bush-cricket Decticus nigrescens Tarbinsky, 1930 is recorded from the Zabaykalsky Krai, Amurskaya Oblast, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, and Primorsky Krai in Russia. The type locality of this species is actually the vicinity of Nagibovo settlement in the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, Russia (47.75оN, 131.54оE). The ecologo-geographic models of the species distribution over the Asian part of Russia are generated by the Maxent and 'ellipsenm' algorithms for the first time as well.
