The centipede species Scolopendra pinguis Pocock, 1891 is recorded from Vietnam (Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, Quang Binh Province) for the first time. The collected specimens are described and illustrated. An updated map of S. pinguis distribution in Southeast Asia is also proved.

A new species, Psechrus leshukovi sp. n., is described from Sumatra Island (Indonesia) based on males collected in small caves. It is closely related to P. singaporensis Thorell, 1894, known from Southeast Asia, but differs from the latter by the shape of male palp. The female of P. libelti Kulczyński, 1908, collected in the same systems of grottos, is redescribed.

The successful naturalization of the Colorado potato beetle in Primorsky Kray is limited by the monsoon climate, namely unstable fluctuating weather conditions with periodic catastrophic precipitation. The most of potato fields are located in the bottomlands of rivers or in close proximity to water bodies and a drastic increase in the runoff due to excessive simultaneous rainfall leads to the flooding of agricultural lands and the elimination of the fodder plants. The Colorado potato beetle is an oligophage and can not switch to alternative food sources during these periods. Moreover, beetles that enter diapause under these conditions die because of flooding and cold injury. Despite this fact, the pest remains a threat to the potato production in the region and can cause significant damage in case of repeated invasions during periods with more favorable conditions.

The males of Janssoniella kawabatai Tselikh, 2020 and Miscogasteriella vladimiri Tselikh, Lee et Ku, 2023 are described for the first time. Currently Pteromalidae of South Korea comprises 106 species belonging to 57 genera of four subfamilies.

Isodontia nigella (F. Smith, 1856) is native to the Eastern Palaearctic, Oriental region, and Australia. A sheaf of reed canes installed as a trap nest in the Crimea was occupied with 73 nests of this species in 2021. The nests contained one to eight cells separated by partitions made of packed fragments of grass stalks and blades; the closing plug was made of the same materials. In some cases, there was no visible partition between two subsequent cells. The prey consisted of three orthopteran species with the predomination of the tree cricket Oecanthus pellucens (Scopoli, 1763) amounted to 95.1% of the identified specimens; three to 15 victims were stored per cell. Sex ratio was strongly male-biased, about 1♀:4♂. The species had two generations per year. Prepupae of the second generation overwintered and imagines emerged in 2022: males on 12–19 June, females on 17 June–5 July. Melittobia acasta (Walker, 1839) and an unidentified bombyliid fly were recorded as parasitoids that damaged only three cells. The reproductive success of the wasp was 65.2%; most deaths of the progeny were for unknown causes. This is the first record of I. nigella in Europe, outside its native range. Isodontia nigella is the second invasive species of the genus in Europe after I. mexicana (de Saussure, 1867) and the fifth invasive species of the family Sphecidae in the Crimea.

A new species of darkling beetles of the genus Philhammus Fairmaire, 1871 is described from Amudarya bank, Khorezm Region, Uzbekistan: Ph. dilaramae Nabozhenko et N. Bekchanov, sp. n. This first representative of the genus in the country belongs to the nominotypical subgenus and most similar to Pre-Caspian Ph. zaitsevi G.S. Medvedev, 1979. The new species differs from the latter in the structure of genae, eyes and pronotum.

Lasioglossum adabaschum (Blüthgen, 1931), a species hitherto known only from the holotype collected in Turkmenistan (Ashgabat), is reported from Europe (Russia: Kalmyk Republic and Astrakhan Province). The species is closely related to L. pallidum (Radoszkowski, 1888) known from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Russia. Lasioglossum adabaschum can be easily distinguished from L. pallidum by the mostly black body (versus almost entirely ochre- or whitish-yellow). The male of Lasioglossum adabaschum is here described for the first time. The known fauna of Europe numbers 2,131 species of bees.
