Asymmetric Objective Measures Applied to Filter Association Rules Networks 非对称客观度量在过滤关联规则网络中的应用

In this paper, the Filtered-Association Rules Network (Filtered-ARN) is presented to structure, prune, and analyze a set of association rules to construct candidate hypotheses. The Filtered-ARN algorithm selects association rules with the use of asymmetric objective measures, Added Value and Gain, then builds a network allowing more exploration information. The Filtered-ARN was validated using three datasets: Lenses and Soybean Large, both available online for a text and a real dataset with data on organic fertilization (Green Manure). The results were validated by comparing the Filtered-ARN with the conventional ARN and also comparing the results with the decision tree. The approach presented promising results, showing its ability to explain a set of objective items and the aid to build more consolidated hypotheses by guaranteeing statistical dependence with the use of objective measures.

A Hybrid Iterated Local Search Metaheuristic for the Flexible job Shop Scheduling Problem 柔性作业车间调度问题的混合迭代局部搜索元启发式算法

In the flexible job shop scheduling problem (FJSP) we have a set of jobs and a set of machines. A job is characterized by a set of operations that must be processed in a predetermined order. Each operation can be processed in a specific set of machines and each of these machines can process at most one operation at a time, respecting the restriction that before starting a new operation, the current one must be finished. Scheduling is an assignment of operations at time intervals on machines. The classic objective of the FJSP is to find a schedule that minimizes the completion time of the jobs, called makespan. Considering that the FJSP is an NP-hard problem, solution methods based on metaheuristics become a good alternative, since they aim to explore the space of solutions in an intelligent way, obtaining high-quality but not necessarily optimal solutions at a reduced computational cost. Thus, to solve the FJSP, this article describes a hybrid iterated local search (HILS) algorithm, which uses the simulated annealing (SA) metaheuristic as local search. Computational experiments with a standard set of instances of the problem indicated that the proposed HILS implementation is robust and competitive when compared with the best algorithms of the literature.

The Examiner: Automatic Generation of "Good" Exams 考官:“好”考试的自动生成

As educators, we must design, prepare, proctor and grade hundreds of exams during their careers. From this overwhelming task, we collect little or none objective evidence about the quality of the exams themselves. Thus, at most there is an intuitive learning about what characterizes a good or a bad exam. It is very likely that we blindly repeat in our exams rights and wrongs of the past. There exist metrics about the quality of an exam, and even metrics about the quality of each of the individual items in the exam. Using actual college courses, our research found experimental evidence that proves that it is possible to predict with great accuracy, parting from historical statistical data, the quality metrics that an exam will show even before applying it to a standard group of college students. With this result, we built an automatic system that generates "good" exams from an item bank enriched with statistical information from previous exams. Besides, powerful tools for analysis and controlled adjustment of each exam and each item were developed.

Applying the Internet of Things in Precision Viticulture: An Approach Exploring the EXEHDA Middleware 物联网在精准葡萄栽培中的应用:一种探索EXEHDA中间件的方法

Advances in Internet of Things (IoT) have enabled interoperation between various intelligent devices, collecting and distributing contextual information, thus allowing more sophisticated models to provide context awareness. The use of middlewares is highlighted in the literature as an alternative to device management in distributed IoT infrastructure, as well as to make contextual processing more transparent to applications. Regarding this scenario, the objective of this work is to present the approach designed to provide Fog Computing to the EXEHDA middleware, providing Context Awareness for the computational edge devices present in the monitored environments. A study case was carried out in the area of Precision Viticulture (PV) evaluating the proposed approach.

An Anonymization Service for Software-Defined Networks 软件定义网络的匿名化服务

This paper presents a service to make the anonymization in SDN to guarantee the availability of the services in the network through the concealment of the stations. Because of this it was developed the anonymizer BomIP using C Language and Libpcap Library, then it was included as a service on RunOS OpenFlow Controller. To validate this service it were made three cases studies on a simulated environment of a Denial of Service attack. The results shows that BomIP has a running time 65% better than others anonymizers, besides BomIP guarantees that all packets can be tracked and a mitigation of 80% from the attacks trials, supporting the services provides by the newtork to continue running.

Application of Fuzzy Control in Embedded Sensing Systems for Beekeeping Monitoring 模糊控制在嵌入式传感养蜂监测系统中的应用

In the activity of beekeeping, there are routine reviews, production anagement, in some eventuality it is necessary for the beekeeper to intervene. For this intervention, the hives must be opened. The opening for inspection should be done only when necessary and in order to interfere as little as possible in the activity of the colonies. Due to the fact that the openings cause wear to the swarm, since, during the revisions, usually occurs honey consumption, bee mortality and exposure of the pictures to the environment. The objective of the article is to analyze the temperature and internal humidity, smoke index and the meteorological conditions associated with the apiary. Based on this objective, the following questions arise: How to monitor the hive? And how to generate knowledge with the data collected? In order to answer the questions an embedded system was developed consisting of internal and external sensing modules for the hives. While the question of generating knowledge with the collected data was developed a computational model used the software MATLAB. From the obtained results, it can be concluded that the Fuzzy Logic is applicable in the treatment of data with multiple values and that the developed system helps the beekeepers to extract several information without the need to influence the work of the colonies.

Genetic Algorithm for the Knapsack Problem with Irregular Shaped Items 异形物品背包问题的遗传算法

The two-dimensional knapsack problem with irregularly shaped items is solved in this work. It is utilized the concept of inner-fit raster and no-fit raster to verify packing feasibility, which stands for non-overlapping between items that are entirely contained inside the bin. The problem solution is obtained with a biased random-key genetic algorithm in which each chromosome contains information related to the order and rotation where each item should be packed into the bin. The chromosome also contains information about which heuristic has to be used to pack items and the probability of an offspring inheriting information from an elite parent. It is adopted three heuristics for positioning items, which are: bottom-left, left-bottom, and horizontal zig-zag. The experiments over literature instances showed that the developed genetic algorithm is very effective since it could obtain an optimal solution for 53.4% of the instances and improved the bin's occupancy ratio in about 2.1% when observing all the instances.

It is utilized the concept of inner-fit raster and no-fit raster to verify packing feasibility, which stands for non-overlapping between items that are entirely contained inside the bin. The problem solution is obtained with a biased random-key genetic algorithm in which each chromosome contains information related to the order and rotation where each item should be packed into the bin. The chromosome also contains information about which heuristic has to be used to pack items and the probability of an offspring inheriting information from an elite parent. It is adopted three heuristics for positioning items, which are: bottom-left, left-bottom, and horizontal zig-zag. Applying Event Sourcing in a ERP System: A Case Study 事件溯源在ERP系统中的应用:案例研究

Most software can be seen as a set of business rules that are executed when triggered by an internal event or user input. Usually, these business rules are designed to process the input data and change the software's internal state match this event. As a consequence of such design, software usually does not have reliable means to keep memory from its past states unless specifically programmed to do so. Even when such capabilities are built into the system, they are often too detached from the system's rules to be useful or they are built only in particular points of the system selected as relevant. This article discusses Event Sourcing, a software architecture design that organizes software's classes in such a way to provide a native memory of its past states, enabling the system to even replay old computations at will. We also present a case study where this architecture is applied in the development of an ERP System. The architecture was particularly useful to the development team as it dramatically increased error traceability.

Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to Spread Natural Enemies for Biological Control in Dynamic Environments 动态环境下利用无人机传播天敌进行生物防治

In order to control the population of vectors responsible for the transmission of diseases, such as chikungunya, dengue and huánglónging (HLB), with greater effectiveness and less impact to the environment, we had the dissemination of lines of research focused on the applied biological control, which consists of the release of natural predators from these vectors. However, when this task is performed manually by humans, they are susceptible to the risks presented by the environment, whether it is difficult to access the affected area or the presence of venomous animals, such as snakes and hornets. Given this scenario, and following the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), there is a proposal to use them to automate this task. However, external factors, such as wind, can influence the movement of these vehicles and consequently the effectiveness in performing certain tasks. Thus, this work had as purpose the study about the influence of the wind under free falling objects, which, in the scenario of this work, are the glasses containing the natural enemies of a certain pest, and the proposition of a strategy to be taken by the aircraft, in order to ensure the effectiveness of the task at hand. During the tests performed in a simulated environment, it was observed that the mathematical modeling of the wind and the strategy taken by the aircraft at run time were able to achieve good results, allowing the cup to be deposited very close to the pre-defined location.
