This research aims to analyze the handling of omnibus law demonstrations using a democratic policing approach. Democratic Policing (Democratic Policing) should be a consequence of the Polri reform agenda, a reformative agenda regarding the posture of the Polri in the political system of the Republic of Indonesia, covering the culture of Polri personnel in the implementation of national security. This research is qualitative. The results of this research explain the efforts that have been made by Polda Metro Jaya in handling the Omnibuslaw demonstration, namely; a) Pre-emptive efforts to provide advice to protesters about good demonstration procedures and inform the relevant agencies that are the target points for demonstrations and/or demonstrations, b) preventive efforts have been carried out by the Police in carrying out their duties by fixed procedures (Protap). This is intended so that the police, both individuals and units, in taking action are not seen as excessive by the public.

The success of an agency in achieving its goals is not only determined by the complete organizational structure or structure, but is also influenced by the factor of placing individuals in the right positions according to their abilities and expertise, which among all these individuals is a form of work partner that can determine the success or failure of an activity within the agency. From 2014 to 2018 employee mutations within the BPS Bangka Belitung Islands Province have continued to increase. In addition, optimizing employee performance in providing services certainly requires a breakthrough in the field of technological innovation to improve individual and organizational performance. One of them is the use of information technology which is a means of supporting/encouraging the organization in achieving organizational goals. Researchers want to find out more about the effect of career development, mutation and information technology on employee performance at BPS Bangka Belitung Islands Province. This study aims to see the effect of career development, mutation and information technology on employee performance at the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, either partially or jointly. This type of research is causal quantitative research using survey methods. The subjects and research locations were 60 BPS employees of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Before obtaining the best equation, the validity and reliability of the data must be guaranteed from the question items submitted by using data quality tests which include validity tests, reliability tests, and classical assumption tests (normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and heteroscedasticity tests). Data analysis used partial test (t test), simultaneous test (F test), multiple regression statistical tests and the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square). Validity and reliability tests were carried out to see whether the research questionnaire was valid or not. The t test was conducted to determine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable while the F test was conducted to determine whether the independent variables simultaneously had a significant effect on the dependent variable. The results of the study show that there is an influence of career development, mutation, and information technology on employee performance at the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Career development, transfer, and information technology successively have an influence of 15.1 percent, 17.0 percent, and 17.4 percent on the performance of BPS employees in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. While the three variables together give an effect of 32.5 percent. There is the influence of career development, mutation, and information technology together on the performance of BPS employees of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

A living person may give away their property by grant or gift instead of distributing it to their heirs through inheritance. When both the grantor and grantee are still alive, a grant is a legal action that aims to transfer ownership rights that are knowingly transferred to another party. Grants may be made to whoever the grantor chooses, but it must be stated that the grant's terms cannot be harmful to other people. The Burgerlijk Wetboek, or Civil Code, governs these issues. By being careful not to violate the legitimate component (absolute part). Problems with legal protection and legal repercussions for heirs about grants that hurt the absolute portion (Legitieme Portie) of the heirs will occur if they breach the law's restrictions. By looking into secondary data or library resources, the normative juridical research methodology was applied to create this paper. As a result of identifying the absolute portion (Legitieme Portie), as specified in Article 913 of the Civil Code, various provisions in the Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek) have given the heirs legal protection. Then, if the heirs feel wronged by the grant or grant or based on a will or who has passed away, the legal implications of a grant deed that breaches legitiemelegitimean be revoked.

Humans spend a lot of time indoors, and this cannot be separated from teaching and learning activities. Teaching and learning activities must be conditioned so that the best academic performance can be achieved through adequate aspects of indoor environmental quality. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) on internal responses and academic performance in classrooms in two different building types. Where one building is a conventional building and the other building is a building that applies the concept of energy saving. A qualitative method was used in this research by conducting interviews with a purposive sampling technique then the results of the interviews were analyzed using a thematic analysis approach. The results of this study reveal that perceived comfort conditions are stated to positively affect the physiological, cognitive, and emotional status as well as the academic performance of students and lecturers, and high-efficiency buildings are more satisfying than conventional buildings.

Groundwater is the main source of needs for living things. Groundwater is stored in aquifer systems contained in the soil. Under certain conditions, aquifers will be very vulnerable to pollution that can be caused by various sources of pollution depending on existing geological conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the vulnerability of aquifers to polluting sources so that they can assist the government in planning and formulating policies related to regional spatial planning. Identification of aquifer vulnerability can be done using the DRASTIC method which is a weighting method of various parameters such as groundwater table depth (D), Rainfall (R), aquifer media (A), soil media (S), Topography (T), Unsaturated zone (I), and hydraulics conductivity (C) and combined with HAI (Human Activity Impact). The weighting results will produce a Static and Dynamic Aquifer Vulnerability Map. The two maps will be stacked with the Spatial Plans of Palangka Raya City so that it is expected to be a consideration for the Palangka Raya City government in the preparation of the next Regional Spatial Planning policy. The results of weighting with the DRASTIC Index and HAI whole Jekan Raya District and Sabangau District, Palangka Raya City are included in a high level of vulnerability which at this level is an area that is very easy to be polluted by all pollutants, so proper handling is needed so that the impact that will be caused is not too high risk for the condition of aquifers in the area.

MRI image evaluation of cystic ovarian neoplasms was done manually and is generally carried out by Radiologists using a manual technique called linear measurement. This technique has some weaknesses, including being considered a rough calculation estimate because measurements are made on only one largest slice and are vulnerable to subjectivity factors. This research applied a digital image processing program based on Matlab using a segmentation process and active contour Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG) in the measurement and calculation of the volume of cystic ovarian neoplasms. Analyze the differences in measurement results and find out which technique is better in the calculation of cystic ovarian neoplasm volume between techniques of linear measurement and techniques of active contour Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG). The research was done with 32 images of abdominal-pelvic MRI images with clinical cystic ovarian neoplasms, and measurements and calculations of the volume of cystic ovarian neoplasms were carried out using the technique linear measurement and active contour Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG). Measurement and calculation are done by Radiologists as an observer with data analysis using statistical processing. Analysis of MRI images of abdominal-pelvic MRI images with clinical cystic ovarian neoplasms using linear measurement and active contour Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG) techniques showed a difference with a p-value of 0.004 (p<0.05). The results of measurements using the active contour laplacian of the Gaussian technique are better than the linear measurement, as indicated by the higher mean rank of the active contour laplacian of Gaussian, which was 17.50 (higher than the linear measurement value of 13.50).

The results of measurements using the active contour laplacian of the Gaussian technique are better than the linear measurement, as indicated by the higher mean rank of the active contour laplacian of Gaussian, which was 17.50 (higher than the linear measurement value of 13.50).","PeriodicalId":38172,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research and Policy","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136068557","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research aims to design an effective Waste Water Treatment Plant (IPAL) system in the special port area of Persia (PT) in order to ensure the sustainability of mining operations while complying with environmental regulations. The IPAL design is based on assessing the topography, hydrological characteristics, and water quality of the catchment area. Water quality analysis is carried out both during the dry season and after rain, taking important parameters such as pH, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), iron (Fe), and manganese (Mn) into consideration. The results of this research provide important information for designing IPALs that comply with environmental conditions and applicable regulations. Based on the data that has been analyzed, it can be concluded that the proposed WWTP design is an effective solution in managing coal mining wastewater in this port area.
