School Culture and Spirituality in Workplace 学校文化与职场精神

This quantitative descriptive study aimed to identify the influence of school culture on spirituality in workplace. A total of 540 randomly selected teachers were selected from 36 secondary schools in Penang as respondent in the study. Data for this survey were collected through a questionnaire which was adapted from literature review (Al-Amin, 2012; Maslowski, 2001; Yaakob, 2007). The results of multiple regression analysis showed that school culture had positive and significant influence on spiritual at workplace. In term of the implications, this study showed that the leaders need to inculcate spirituality at work by creating a positive culture.
本研究旨在探讨学校文化对职场灵性的影响。从槟城36所中学随机抽取540名教师作为调查对象。本次调查的数据是通过问卷调查收集的,这是改编自文献综述(Al-Amin, 2012;Maslowski, 2001;雅柯伯,2007)。多元回归分析结果显示,学校文化对职场精神有正向显著影响。就影响而言,本研究表明,领导者需要通过创造一种积极的文化,在工作中灌输精神。

School Mediation Programmes and Incidents of In-School Violence and Bullying 学校调解计划与校园暴力及霸凌事件

School mediation (or peer mediation) is an effective practice for dealing with cases of in-school violence and bullying. According to the results of this retrospective research, conducted in High-Schools of the Municipality of Fyli (Athens metropolitan area, Greece), school mediation programmes contribute to: activating students wishing to help their classmates, taking responsibility and developing social/communication skills of the students involved. At the same time, it is important to point out the substantial gender differentiation in attitudes both towards incidents of in-school violence and bullying, but also to school mediation programmes. Finally, the positive response of students, who participate voluntarily beyond ordinary school hours in these programmes, is a demand for a school that responds to students’ needs.

Performance Management in State Universities in Cameroon: An Administrator’s Perspective 喀麦隆州立大学绩效管理:一个管理者的视角

This study provides an in-depth understanding of how administrators perceive the purpose and value of the performance management systems in state Universities of Cameroon; how the administrator assess the effectiveness of current performance management processes in the department; the different dimensions of how administrators perceive the impact of academic managers on their work performance; the extent to which administrators respond to the process, measure and outcomes involved in operating the performance management system. The study also analyzes what administrators think is an effective performance management system in the state Universities. The research adopted a qualitative case study approach by selecting 12 administrators from 6 state Universities with varied backgrounds in terms of years of service, seniority and gender. Data were collected through in-depth, semi- structured interviews and documentary sources. Among the major findings were that the participants found the meaning and purposes of performance management ambiguous; and that the many different processes contained within the system were perceived as fragmenting and confusing in achieving the intended outcomes. Compounding the concern was the lack of dedicated and able academics to manage the process.

Methodology for Determining the Laboriousness of Assignments by Graphic Disciplines 确定图形学科作业难度的方法

The objective of this study is to develop the methodology for determining the laboriousness of assignments by graphic disciplines. The results determined the volume of students’ independent work performed on discipline "Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics"; 2) determined the time expenses on 1 format A4 and indicated usage of this index to design the volume of students’ independent work; 3) determined how much time reduced for expenditures to show the drawings using a computer; 4) show a comparison of 2D and 3D systems by the index of time expenses. Conclusion: The obtained data gives the ability to determine the student's independently work laboriousness.

"Core Literacy" and "Learning Transfer" are hot topics in the education field. Through the questionnaire analysis of the innovative class students and ordinary class students in Shandong Experimental Middle School. Through the high school mathematics transfer law application questionnaire, the relationship between the score and the migration ability is analyzed. Through the questionnaire of the core literacy of high school mathematics, the relationship between the score and the core literacy was analyzed. Learning transfer ability directly affects the formation of core literacy, so it is necessary to improve core literacy according to the theory of learning transfer.

The core competency of mathematics has always been a hot issue in the education field. Key competencies have become a hot topic in the current education circle. Through discussing the meaning of mathematics core accomplishment and the recognition of "problem solving" under the background of mathematics core accomplishment, this paper discusses three methods of cultivating students' problem consciousness: creating situation, arousing problem consciousness, making students want to ask questions; The democratic atmosphere, the cultivation self-confidence, causes the student dares to ask; the positive appraisal, the body Test the sense of achievement, make the students happy to ask, so as to arouse teachers pay attention to cultivating students' problem awareness and ability, and stimulate students' creative thinking.

This essay portrays Female Education in Nigeria as a key to Development in Esan North East Local Government Area, Edo State. The need to break the barrier of sex discrimination at the crucial time that Nigeria needs all round development is more appealing. The female folks are supposed to be co – pilots of the wheel of progress. It is evident in Esan North East Local Government Area that the traditional view of women has not drastically changed. Most women are still into petty business, like trading, farming, menial fashion making, hair making and so on. The new wind of change that is blowing in some parts of Nigeria has not sufficiently reflected in the area of this study. This study therefore, aims at encouraging females themselves and their parents to change their past view on education and respond positively on female education campaign initiates. To achieve the objectives of this essay the researcher adopts the historical, analytical and phenomenological methodology. It discovers that the training of girls/ women will enhance the social, political and economic status of women themselves and the society at large and this will form the bedrock for holistic development.

The Relationship between Level of Students’ Participation in Games Programs and Academic Achievement in Rongo Sub-County Secondary Schools 龙戈县副县中学学生游戏参与水平与学业成绩的关系

The purpose of the study was to establish the relationship between the level of students’ participation in games programs and academic achievement in secondary schools in Rongo Sub-County. The study adopted descriptive survey and correlation designs. The sample size was as follows: 350 form four students participating in games, 175 boys and 175 girls which were 33% of the target population. Pearson Product moment Correlation was used to investigate relationship between students’ participation level and academic achievement. The Bonferroni Post Hoc Multiple Comparison Test is an analysis method that was used to establish multiple levels of participation to prove relationship with academic achievement. The study found out that there is a minimal positive relationship between students’ level of participation in games programs and academic achievement in secondary schools in Rongo Sub County. (t (350) r=0.260, p=0.453).
