The paper examines the patterns of trademark internationalisation performed by the Polish video game producers during 1994-2019. Theoretical deliberations were conducted along with the empirical analysis and future avenues for research. Final conclusions of the paper are: the level of trademarks internationalisation is moderate (more than half of the firms possesses at least one registered trademark abroad), it took seven years to apply for the first trademark since the firm foundation and 411 days to register the trademark successfully (average values), the most common patent office was USPTO, followed by the two harmonised frameworks: WIPO and EUIPO. The mean success rate of trademark application was high and amounted to 89%, however, a significantly higher success rate was observed in the case of EUIPO than USPTO. Employment of the legal representative positively influenced the success rate and the time to register, but only in the case of EUIPO.

Digital media use applied to professional atmosphere is increasing its relevance in the companies of the 21st century. As a consequence, organisations should bear this fact in mind and adapt their corporate strategies to the new market demands. Online social networks offer customers the possibility to bring attention to issues they believe need to be addresses by organisations. Added to this, e-reputation plays a pivotal role in determining a company's competitive advantage. This paper studies the role of e-communications in an organisation's strategy and how analytics and modelling techniques are used to take advantage of the digital media content. It discusses the historical reputational challenged experienced by banks and how can the current fintech industry take advantage of past errors. Finally, an overview of effective mechanisms to improve e-reputation is presented.

: In this work we elucidate international trends in the field of quantum technology (QT) by analysing a global patent database built from an operational definition of QT that was generated through the curated application of artificial intelligence (AI). In doing so, we demonstrate how the sophisticated use of intellectual property information, enhanced by the artful deployment of AI techniques, may produce more reliable and useful revelations for policymakers and managers about global innovation in emerging fields of technology than is possible through conventional methods of data collection and analysis. We also demonstrate the utility of this approach for reliably characterising the evolving constituent sub-fields of QT. By adopting a hybrid human-AI approach to both the definition and the analysis of QT, we have produced some novel insights about global innovation and national organisational profiles in the QT field, particularly concerning dynamic competition between the USA and China.
