Mots-clés: rhabdomyolyse, insuffisance rénale aiguë, virus para-influenza, enfants, amplification en chaîne par polymérase multiplex respiratory infection did not preclude us to search for another, especially in the absence of a clear diagnosis. Nevertheless, in our case, it was parainfluenza virus 3 that caused RML, complicated with AKI. The final and accurate microbiological diagnosis, based on multiplex PCR, is needed for better management of the patients.

Dear Reader, Although the COVID-19 pandemic is still a huge cause for worry for governments and populations like, a new threat is raising its head across various countries in the form of monkeypox. Till date, more than 5000 monkeypox cases have been reported from 51 countries worldwide. However, more worrying and abnormal is the fact that these countries seem to have been affected for the first time. More than 90% of the infections are occurring in 31 of the European countries. The United Kingdom has the biggest monkeypox outbreak beyond the African countries, where it is known since decades. British officials note that the disease is spreading in defined sexual networks of gay, bisexual, or men who have sex with men. A recent study on the changing epidemiology of human monkeypox published in PLOS highlights “the mounting concerns about the geographical spread and further resurgence of monkeypox".

Mots-clés: diminution des paramètres du sperme, in-fertilité masculine, diagnostic, paramètres du sperme (3.8% per year); progressive motility (1.9% per year); concentration of motile sperm (3.6% per year); total number of motile sperm (4.7% per year); concentration of functional sperm (3.9% per year); total number of functional sperm (5.2% per year); normal forms (1.8% per year) and vitality (3.8% per year). Conclusions. Our results indicate that the quality and quantity of semen is steadily declining in the population of men consulted for couple infertility in the Republic of Moldova from 2012 to 2020. This is an indication necessitating to focus on the management and preventive program for male infertility.

Introduction. Introduction. ABSTRACT
