The purpose of this community service activity is to provide education on waste management to the students of the Quranic Recitation Hall Babussalam, Limpok Village. This community service activity was attended by 20 students, consisting of groups of primary and junior high schools, divided into two stages, namely: making the rubbish bin and counseling on waste management at the Quranic Recitation Hall Babussalam. The counseling and socialization were carried out by direct introduction to students and by providing waste collection facilities according to the types of waste. The results of this community service activity can be declared successful as seen from their seriousness in listening to the presentation of the material, responding spontaneously, and discussing seriously during the activity. They can understand the benefits of solid waste management and are proven to be able to mention the negative and positive effects of waste. Garbage can be an income if it is sorted out and a disaster if it is disposed of in any place according to them and an agent of change, especially in the environment where they live and the Limpok Village community in general. In conclusion, all participants had a good understanding of the introduction to waste processing methods, types of organic and inorganic waste, and residues which were marked by the ability of each participant to answer questions given by the service team.

The aim of this community service activity was to increase the knowledge of health workers and mothers at the integrated healthcare centers (Posyandu) how to make biscuits from banana flour, red bean flour, and green bean flour as a supplementary nutritional product of malnourished toddlers in Syiah Kuala Sub-district. The methods were survey, socialization, and practicing of making biscuits from Awak banana flour, red bean flour, and mung bean flour involving mothers of the toddlers, heads of health centers, and Posyandu cadres. Based on the observation during the programs, the participants were very disciplined and enthusiastic in participating in all activities. Also, the participants were capable of making the biscuits product. Based on the proximate analysis conducted at the Laboratory of Baristand (Research and Standardization Center) in Banda Aceh, every 100 grams of the biscuit contains the nutritional content of carbohydrates 29.98%, protein 6.57%, fat 37.28%, water content 0.58%, ash content 1.72%, and calories 328.17 kcal. It can be concluded that 100 grams of biscuit can supply the nutritional needs of malnourished toddlers as much as 328.17 kcal from the dietary needs of 1.620 kcal per day.

ABSTRAKPengabdian ini bertujuan memperkenalkan cara pengolahan pakan komplit dengan teknologi fermentasi kepada peternak sapi dan kerbau. Pengabdian ini dilakukan kepada masyarakat peternak yang berada di Desa Keude Panga, Kabupaten Aceh Jaya, Provinsi Aceh. Pengabdian ini dilakukan oleh 3 orang dosen, 25 orang peserta [G1] dan dihadiri juga oleh beberapa perwakilan dari pejabat dinas terkait. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi (selama 1 hari) dan praktek pembuatan pakan komplit yang difermentasi selama 21 hari. Pengolahan yang diperkenalkan berupa teknologi fermentasi dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan berupa rumput gajah, daun lamtoro (petai cina), bungkil kelapa, ampas tahu, dedak kasar, urea, molasses, garam, dan Effective Microorganism (EM 4) yang kemudian disusun sesuai formula menjadi pakan komplit. Bahan yang digunakan merupakan bahan baku lokal yang ada di Aceh dan yang tersedia di Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Teknologi Pakan, Jurusan Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala Darussalam Banda Aceh. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian memberikan dampak positif kepada peternak berupa pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pengolahan pakan dengan teknologi fermentasi menggunakan bahan pakan lokal. Kesimpulannya peternak dapat memanfaatkan limbah pertanian dan industri yang ada di sekitarnya, sehingga potensi nutrisi limbah dapat dipertahankan dan bahkan ditingkatkan dengan teknologi fermentasi. The processing introduced was in the form of fermentation technology using materials such as elephant grass, lamtoro (chinese petai) leaves, coconut cake, tofu dregs, coarse bran, urea, molasses, salt, and Effective Microorganisms (EM 4) which were then formulated into a complete feed. Ingredients used were locally available in Aceh and and available at the Laboratory of Nutrition Science and Feed Technology, Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam Banda Aceh. As a result, farmers gain knowledge and skills about feed processing with fermentation technology using local feed ingredients. In conclusion, farmers can take advantage of agricultural and industrial wastes in the vicinity, whose nutritional potential can be maintained and improved by fermentation technology. Tujuan kegiatan ini memperkenalkan kepada peternak desa Cot Madhi tentang pemakaian larutan lugol sebagai alternatif untuk menanggulangi kawin berulang pada sapi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 10 peternak sapi di desa tersebut yang memiliki sapi diduga kawin berulang berdasarkan informasi dari inseminator setempat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan dua metode, yaitu (1) metode pendidikan dan penyuluhan dan (2) demonstrasi dan pelatihan di lapangan. Dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, peternak mulai menyadari arti pentingnya penanganan reproduksi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ternak, peserta cukup memahami cara memperoleh larutan lugol di pasaran lokal dan mengencerkannya sesuai dosis yang diinginkan, dan peserta mengerti teknis pengobatan dengan larutan lugol. ABSTRACT Program Pengembangan Produk Unggulan Daerah (PPPUD) ini bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan berat badan berbagai jenis sapi menggunakan pakan tanpa hijauan dan growth promotor di era pandemic coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pada UMKM penggemukan sapi potong. Hal ini diperlukan guna mengetahui jenis sapi yang peningkatan berat badannya paling baik. Metode pengumpulan data pada PPPUD ini adalah dengan wawancara/kuesioner, pembuatan pakan tanpa hijauan, growth promotor serta fermentor. Pakan hasil PPPUD diaplikasikan pada 5 jenis sapi potong yaitu sapi lokal, sapi peranakan ongole, sapi madura, sapi peranakan Limousin dan sapi peranakan Simental. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Pebruari – hingga bulan Juni 2021. Hasil dari PPPUD ini adalah meningkatkan SDM peternak sapi potong dalam pengolahan pakan tanpa hijauan, growth promotor dan fermentor, jenis sapi potong yang peningkatan berat badannya bagus. Ditemukan permasalahan di era pandemi COVID-19 terhadap peternak sapi potong yaitu sumber daya manusia dalam pengolahan pakan tanpa hijauan guna menekan biaya produksi dan mengantisipasi kemarau berkepanjangan. Langkah pemerintah dapat mengambil keputusan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut seperti pemberian bantuan modal usaha, penangguhan pembayaran pinjaman, hingga mendampingi peternak sapi potong.. Kesimpulan kegiatan ini adalah pengolahan pakan tanpa hijauan, growth promotor dan feremntor di era pandemi COVID-19 guna menekan biaya produksi.serta pemasaran ternak secara daring dengan pembayaran secara nontunai. Sapi peranakan Limousin dan peranakan Simental mempunyai peningkatan berat badan yang baik dibandingkan sapi lokal, sapi peranakan ongole dan sapi madura. This is necessary to determine the type of cow with the best weight gain. Data collection methods at RSPD are by interview/questionnaire, making feed without forage, growth promoter and fermenter. This is necessary to determine the type of cow with the best weight gain. Data collection methods at RSPD are by interview/questionnaire, making feed without forage, growth promoter and fermenter. The feed from RSPD was applied to 5 types of beef cattle, namely local cattle, Ongole crossbreeds, Madura cattle, Limousin crossbreeds and Simmental crossbreeds. This activity is carried out from February – until June 2021. The result of this RSPD is to increase the human resources of beef cattle breeders in processing feed without forage, growth promoters and fermenters, types of beef cattle with good weight gain. Problems were found in the COVID-19 pandemic era for beef cattle farmers, namely human resources in processing feed without forage in order to reduce production costs and anticipate prolonged droughts. ABSTRAKTujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan produksi bersih dan manajemen usaha kepada kelompok usaha garam rakyat di Desa (Gampong) Kuala Idi Cut Kecamatan Darul Aman Kabupaten Aceh Timur. Prosedur pelaksanaan kegiatan teridiri dari; koordinasi kegiatan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Kelompok masyarakat yang menjadi mitra pada kegiatan ini adalah Kelompok Putik Meulu. Kelompok tersebut merupakan salah satu kelompok usaha garam rakyat, dengan anggota kelompok terdiri dari inong balee (janda) yang kehidupan ekonominya serba kekurangan. Kelompok ini telah menjalankan usahanya sejak tahun 2000 dan mampu memproduksi garam setiap hari sekitar 200 kilogram dari lima dapur dengan aset sekitar Rp 23.500.000. Hasil yang didapatkan, dengan adanya pelatihan produksi bersih garam dan berbagai macam manajemen pengelolaan usaha mampu merubah pola pikir mitra terkait dengan proses produksi garam. Dimana dapur garam dibuat permanen, diberi pagar keliling sehingga terhindar dari hewan yang masuk ke dapur garam. Dari aspek produksi, rata-rata produksi garam meningkat menjadi 90 kg/hari. Selain itu, garam yang dihasilkan juga berwarna putih dan bebas dari kotoran. ABSTRAKTujuan dilaksanakan pengabdian ini untuk memperkenalkan dan memberikan pelatihan penggunaan perangkat lunak Autodesk Inventor untuk memproduksi gambar teknik berbasis Computer-aided Design (CAD) menurut International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Metode yang dilaksanakan melalui teori, praktik dan diskusi serta penyelesaian tugas perancangan mesin secara mandiri dan berkelompok. Materi pelatihan meliputi gambar kerja, pengenalan dasar CAD, pemodelan gambar two-dimensional (2D) dan three-dimensional (3D), perakitan dan presentasi model 3D. Evaluasi kegiatan dinilai mengacu pada kesiapan penyelesaian tugas perancangan dan kesesuaian hasil gambar menurut standar ISO. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan CAD tingkat dasar diperoleh capaian dimana peserta telah menyelesaikan materi pembekalan menggambar teknik dan berhasil menyelesaikan tugas perancangan yang diberikan. Tugas proyek perancangan yang diberikan menuntut penguasaan dalam hal membuat model 3D dari gambar sketsa 2D, membuat gambar susunan, membuat gambar kerja dan menyajikannya dalam format presentasi model bergerak. Keberhasilan menyelesaikan tugas tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa para peserta paham dan mampu mengoperasikan perangkat lunak Autodesk Inventor. Kesimpulan, kemampuan dasar ini dapat dijadikan bekal untuk pengembangan diri peserta dalam pengembangan dan penguasaan CAD tingkat lanjut. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk menambah pengetahuan ibu-ibu di Desa Ulee Pulo, Kabupaten Aceh Utara, Indonesia tentang teknik pengolahan hasil budidaya tambak yaitu ikan bandeng yang diolah menjadi kerupuk bawang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode survei dan sosialisasi langsung. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri dari penentuan lokasi dan kelompok, persiapan bahan dan alat, pengolahan dan uji organoleptik (skoring). Komponen uji organoleptik terdiri dari rasa, aroma, tekstur, warna dan gurih. Panelis yang memberikan penilaian uji organoleptik meliputi perangkat desa, dosen, dan masyarakat sebanyak 25 panelis. Kuisioner digunakan untuk melihat tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi secara langsung pelatihan ini telah meningkatkan pengetahuan perempuan kelompok Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dalam mengolah bandeng menjadi kerupuk bawang. Selain itu, nilai tambah bandeng bisa meningkat terutama saat panen melimpah. Hasil uji organoleptik skoring menunjukkan bahwa nilai skoring warna 5 (coklat kekuningan), aroma 4,3 (aroma khas bandeng), tekstur 5 (renyah), rasa asin 5 (asin ideal), rasa gurih 4,6 (gurih). The components of the organoleptic test consisted of taste, odor, shape, color, and savory. Panelists who gave organoleptic test assessments included village apparatus, lecturers, and the community with a total of 25 panelists. ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian bertujuan membentuk sistem kemitraan dengan peternak melalui pemberian bantuan kambing terbatas selama enam bulan atau satu kali siklus reproduksi dengan introduksi teknologi manipulasi ovulasi dan inseminasi buatan sehingga penguatan modal usaha dapat ditingkatkan. Pada kegiatan ini dilibatkan sepuluh orang khalayak sasaran dari Desa (Gampong) Ajee Rayeuk, Kecamatan Ingin Jaya, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Kriteria khalayak sasaran yaitu 1) mempunyai pendapatan terendah, 2) mempunyai pengalaman beternak kambing, baik memelihara ternak kambing milik pribadi atau memelihara ternak kambing milik orang lain, 3) mempunyai kandang minimal untuk empat ekor ternak, dan 4) mempunyai anggota keluarga yang mampu dan mempunyai waktu untuk fokus mengurus dan memelihara ternaknya. Pengadaan kambing bantuan dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi berdasarkan kriteria sudah pernah beranak, sehat secara klinis, dan berumur 3 tahun, sehingga masih memiliki produktivitas yang tinggi. Jumlah pengadaan kambing sebanyak 30 ekor yang diberikan masing-masing tiga ekor untuk tiap khalayak sasaran. Criteria for the target audience were 1) having the lowest income, 2) having experience in raising goats whether their own goats or other people goats, 3) having a pen for at least 4 livestock and, 4) having family members who are able and have time to focus on managing and caring for their livestock. The community service team was procuring goats based on the criteria that the goat have given birth, clinically healthy, and 3 years old, so the goats had a high productivity performance. The total number of goats provided was 30 goats, with three goats for each target audience. Pengadaan kambing bantuan dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi berdasarkan kriteria sudah pernah beranak, sehat secara klinis, dan berumur 3 tahun, sehingga masih memiliki produktivitas yang tinggi. Jumlah pengadaan kambing sebanyak 30 ekor yang diberikan masing-masing tiga ekor untuk tiap khalayak sasaran. ABSTRAKPengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi masalah dan memberikan solusi pada tahap perebusan ikan tongkol sebelum dikeringkan menjadi keumamah. Mitra PKM selama ini menggunakan tungku terbuka yang pembakarannya tidak sempurna sehingga membutuhkan banyak biomassa kayu. Pembakaran dengan tungku terbuka ini menghasilkan banyak asap, jelaga, dan gas-gas polutan. Akibatnya pembelian kayu bakar menjadi belanja bahan terbesar setelah ikan dan berdampak mengurangi margin keuntungan pengusaha. Gas-gas polutan dan asap serta partikel sisa pembakaran berdampak negatif kepada kesehatan pengusaha, pekerja, kualitas, kenyamanan dan ketentraman lingkungan di sekitar tempat usaha. Solusi yang diberikan kepada kedua mitra adalah desain khusus dan pembuatan tungku hemat energi yang menerapkan teknologi tepat guna dengan pengurangan konsumsi biomasa kayu sampai 33% serta meminimalkan asap dan gas-gas polutan. Penggunaan tungku hemat energi ini dapat mengurangi pengeluaran untuk biomasa kayu, perbaikan kenyamanan dan ketentraman lingkungan sekitar usaha serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan pengusaha keumamah. Disamping itu, kualitas keumamah, daya saing, dan perluasan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat sekitar juga meningkat dan memberikan efek multiplying bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi di sekitar lokasi usaha.Kata kunci: tungku hemat energi, keumamah; biomasa kayu, energi terbarukan ABSTRACTThis community service (PKM) aims at identifying problems and providing solutions for keumamah producers, particularly at the stage of fish boiling prior to the drying of keumamah. PKM partners have been using open stoves with incomplete combustion, thus requiring a lot of wooden biomass. Combustion with this open furnace produces a lot of smoke, soot and pollutant gases. As the results, the purchase of firewood is the biggest material spending after fish and has an impact on reducing the profit margins of producers. Furthermore, pollutant gases and smoke and combustion particles have a negative impact on the health of employers, workers, quality and comfort as well as the environment around and in the production site. The solution given to the two partners is the specially designed and manufactured energy-efficient stoves that include appropriate feature to reduce wooden biomass consumption by up to 33% and minimize smoke and pollutant gases. The use of energy-efficient stoves can reduce expenses on wood biomass, improve comfort and peace of the environment around the business location and improve the welfare of the producers. In addition, the quality of the public life, competitiveness and expansion of employment opportunities for the surrounding community also increase and provide a multiplying effect for economic growth around the business location.Keywords: energy-saving stove, keumamah, wooden biomass, renewable energy
