A new efficient priority rule for scheduling job on identical parallel machines 一种新的高效并行机器作业调度优先级规则

This article aims to study the problem of scheduling on identical parallel machines with different release dates and precedence constraints in tree form to minimize the number of the late jobs; this particular criterion is often used like a performance indicator. This problem is noted by Pm| ri, outtree|∑Ui in standard classification (Graham and Al, 1979). Initially, we present an outline of the work completed by the problems of scheduling to minimize the number of the late jobs. Thereafter we propose two heuristics to solve this problem, the first heuristic based on a new priority rule and the second based on EDD rule.

Causal reasoning in graphical models 图形模型中的因果推理

This paper presents the problem of the identification of the causal relations that agents, in front of a sequence of reported events, may attribute on the basis of their beliefs on the course of things and available pieces of information. In particular, we focus on graphical models exploiting the idea of "intervention", initially proposed in the probability framework by Pearl, and developed in the more qualitative setting of the theory of possibilities within the french national project called MICRAC. We show that interventions, which are very useful for representing causal relations between events, can be naturally viewed as a belief change process. This paper also provides an overview of main compact representation formats, and their associated inference tools, that exist in a possibility theory framework.

Context-aware ubiquitous framework services using JADE-OSGI integration framework 使用JADE-OSGI集成框架的上下文感知的泛在框架服务

The ubiquitous computing frameworks aim to build new applications to provide assistive services for people in autonomously way. Therefore, ubiquitous computing frameworks must integrate both heterogeneous and dynamic devices and interoperate with other heterogeneous applications. These frameworks must adapt their behaviors to provide services that match current user activity. This paper presents a context-aware ubiquitous approach based on lightweight coupling between multi-agent system and OSGi framework. A prototype of this framework is developed and simulated using USARSim robot simulator.

Towards a strategic decision making aid for the management of business processes 为业务流程的管理提供战略决策帮助

This article aims to develop several aspects of the current problems associated with the design of decision support systems of the type ODSS (Organisational Decision Support System). However, the design of a decision-making tool must go through a crucial phase and upstream which is the formalization of the process of decision making. Among the available models for the implementation of a decision process, we include the IDC Standard (Intelligence Design Choice), which is, in our opinion, the best suited to the case. However, the latter has limitations in its decision-making strategy. The aim of this paper is to propose an approach to decision making based on this standard, by extending it through the addition of two additional phases. This essay presents the advantage of providing a more coherent and retrospective vision in the specification of decision making. We illustrate this contribution by the formalization of a situation of decision, namely: Response to Tender (RAO). The latter will be treated to resolve the issue of choice of industrial processes. We will try in the future to apply it to the processes of wastewater treatment.

This paper discusses automatic regulation in participative Web systems. We present a generic solution with an original trace-centered approach. We describe an experiment with a general trace-based system (TBS) called CARTE (Collection, activity Analysis and Regulation based on Traces Enriched) featuring a regulation mechanism and we couple this system with an on-line generic platform for managing lexical resources called Jibikipedia.

WeSPaS — Web specification pattern system Web规范模式系统

We propose a library of web specification patterns to assist web developers and testers in formally specifying web related properties. The current version of the library contains 119 functional and non-functional patterns obtained from scrutinizing various resources in the field of quality assurance of Web Applications, which characterize successful web application using a set of standardized attributes. We evaluated 10% of our patterns on six Web applications. The results showed that the majority of tested properties are violated by the web applications.

Towards a new format for image coding 一种新的图像编码格式

AAOur aim is the coding of image with XML text, the decoding of such descriptors and the reconstruction of the corresponding shapes. The image is assumed segmented into regions and each one is considered as shape. We present firstly a review of the textual format (LWDOS: Language for Writing Descriptors of Outline Shapes) proposed in the literature to write the geometrical description of parts and separating lines obtained by shape decomposition. In this paper we propose an XML format for writing these descriptors. and an algorithm for shape reconstruction from its descriptor. We show also how to use this result for image reconstruction. Our approach has been implemented and the obtained results encourage us to improve them in order to succeed to an XML format for image coding.

CxQWS: Context-aware Quality Semantic Web Service 上下文感知的高质量语义Web服务

The tourism services are vital for the economic health of both developed and developing countries. Although the tourism services in a mobile environment have a critical role in creating tourist satisfaction, they are neither a uniform group, nor able to give consistently high service quality. Indeed they have significantly different platforms and a variety of heterogeneous service providers which make the management of service qualities complex. This complexity is clearly noticeable when a given service is provided by two or more providers, within the same area of the mobile clients; a decision should be made to select the most appropriate service based on contextual description with the best QoS. This paper proposes a novel web management system that allows for considering quality and context-awareness while discovering and selecting web service. The main idea of the proposed web service oriented architecture consists in the ontology Context-aware Quality Semantic Web Service called (CxQWS). At the first step, services are defined as set of semantic metadata, which reflect service requirements and QoS parameters. At the second step, services with a semantic contextual metadata are elaborated. Such a procedure ensures that the selection decisions should be based on the semantic quality representation of the created services.

Using radius to improve robot localization and mapping 利用半径改进机器人定位和绘图

In this work, we have tried to integrate the radius estimation, in the process of simultaneous localization and mapping. Our aim was the improvement of data association between circular natural landmark, and robot's global map. And also, to demonstrate that, more we extract additional information from measurement, more the landmarks will be distinguishable; consequently, contributing to better locating the robot, and building the map of its environment.

In this paper, we investigate a decentralized approach to timestamping transactions in a replicated database, under partial replication in Peer-To-Peer (P2P) environments. In order to solve problems of concurrent updates and node failures, we propose an architecture based on quorums, this architecture allows assigning a unique timestamp to each distributed transaction, to select the servers replicas and to coordinate the distributed execution of the transaction.
