Metamaterials have received extensive attention in recent years due to their exotic electromagnetic properties. Here, we investigate an artificial Kerr-medium based on microwave metamaterial for phase modulator application, which can offer a strong engineered anisotropic response. Moreover, the artificial Kerr-medium can be tuned by changing the capacitance loaded at the split gap of metamaterial unit cell, instead of directly applying E-field inside the medium. The unit cell of metamaterial is similar to Kerr cell. The proposed structure doesn't require high driving voltage and easily realizes Kerr effect, comparing to the natural Kerr crystals. Therefore, our structure fabricates and tests simply due to working at GHz frequency.

This article reported the temperature requirements in the production process of wet a gypsum. The first crystal transformation tank is very important part in the entire production process, in this crystal transformation tank has preliminary chemical reaction. The effect of chemical reactions mostly depends on the temperature of the crystal transformation tank, and the temperature is influenced by the amount of raw material in the crystal transformation tank, the pressure of crystal transformation tank and other effects. Comprehensive field experience derived that the temperature control of first crystal transformation tank with time delay, large inertia, nonlinear and other Characteristics, so the article puts forward Fuzzy-PID control strategy. Using MATLAB simulation and fuzzy control toolbox to establish simulation model simulation, and compared with conventional PID control. The simulation results show that Fuzzy-PID control has better control effect.

The embedded test terminals used in the electricity information acquisition test system are limited to the RAM space and the CPU processing ability, so the integral TCP/IP protocol is difficult to be used in the test terminals. A simplified TCP/IP protocol stack is designed for the electricity information acquisition test system. The simplified TCP/IP protocol stack can accomplish the basic communication of TCP/IP function including the ARP, ICMP, IP, UDP, TCP, the dynamic configuration of IP address, Client/Server mode switch and the MSS Buffer mechanism of TCP, but the RARP, IGMP and the sliding window mechanism of TCP which are otiose to the test terminals can be cut. The test results show that the protocol stack can accomplish the TCP/IP communication and satisfy the reliability and real-time property of the electricity information acquisition test system.

Microspacecraft plays an important role in space missions recently. And micro thrusters are the essential components for the microspacecraft to stabilization, pointing and position keeping. The technology of micro thrust measurement can evaluate the performance of micro thrusters. This paper designed a thrust stand based on the torsional beam for measuring the average thrust of pulsed micro thrusters. When pulsed thrust (the frequency of the pulsed thrust must be much larger than the natural frequency of the stand) is applied to the beam, the beam responses in horizontal plane by rotating about its axis. And the average thrust of the pulsed thrust is linear with the steady-state deflection angle of the beam. The static calibrations were performed based on the assembly of the multiturn coil and the permanent magnet. And the calibration results demonstrate good repeatability and good linearity. The thrust stand can theoretically measure the thrust up to 609.6 μN with a resolution of 24.4 nN. The assembly of the multiturn coil and the permanent magnet was also used as an exciter to further research the performance of the thrust stand. Three sets of force pulses with the same magnitude, the same pulse width and the different repetitive frequency were measured. The results demonstrate good measuring repeatability and the relative error is about 7.04%, 1.78% and 5.08% respectively.

Video signal simulation including echo of moving targets is important in the development of algorithm and software of radar signal processing, especially moving target tracking algorithm. The commonly used methods of simulating radar moving targets can generate targets whose moving pattern are well controlled but the shape and the fluctuation pattern of the echo signals generated by computer software are far from the real ones. To generate moving target video echo signals looks like the actual radar video signals of real target, we present a radar moving target video simulation method based on recorded radar video signals which include real but stationary targets. The idea is to use the real radar echo of the stationary targets recorded in each frame of the radar video to generate, moving target according to the moving pattern set by the user. If the moving target encounters some other targets in front of or close to it, collision avoidance method is also discussed.

The paper briefly introduces the basic principle of S-transform. With the simulation experiments, the time-frequency space characteristics of short-time Fourier transform, Wigner-Ville distribution and S-transform are discussed. As the results suggest, the window of S-transform has a progressive frequency dependent resolution. So the S-transform has a great utility and flexibility in non-stationary signal processing. To compare the time-frequency spectrum of three different analysis methods under various noise conditions, it is obvious that S-transform has better anti-noise performance. It fully proves that S-transform is an even more effective means for non-stationary signal processing.

To focus of this paper is on the estimation for the ship-borne radar detecting systematic or registration errors. According to the ship-borne radar data processing, the types of bias are divided into four main categories: radar measurement biases, ship-position biases, attitude biases and baseline transform biases. In this paper, we present an algorithm that uses detecting data for estimation of equivalent biases. Our approach is unique for two reasons. Firstly, we explicitly avoid the use of individual biases and use equivalent biases model the four main class biases, This leads to a highly nonlinear bias model that contains 12 unknown parameters. Secondly, we use the singular value decomposition (SVD) within least-squares estimator to automatically handle the issue of parameter observability. Finally, according to two different simulation scenes, we demonstrate that our algorithm can improve track accuracy, especially for ship-borne radar.

The identification of a module's fault-proneness is very important for minimizing cost and improving the effectiveness of the software development process. How to obtain the correlation between inspection metrics and module's fault-proneness, hiding in the observed data, has been focused by very researches. In this paper, we propose the use of a fuzzy inference system for this purpose. In order to empirically evaluate the effectiveness of proposed approach, we apply it on empirical data published by Ebenau and NASA's Metrics Data Program data repository, respectively. Experiments results confirm that proposed approach is very effective for establishing relationship between inspection metrics and fault-proneness, and that its implementation don't require neither extra cost nor expert's knowledge, and it is completely automated. Novel approach can provide software project managers with reasonably suggestion and much-needed insights.

In the stability control issues, The feature of the inverted pendulum is universal and typically. As a controlled object, it is a fairly complex and high-order, multivariate, nonlinear, strongly coupled system. Thus, a fuzzy controller is designed, and the fuzzy logic function is used to approximate the nonlinear function of inverted pendulum. An adaptive law is deduced for inverted pendulum, the controller parameters can be adjusted online and the control performance of the system is improved.
