Currently, transmedia narratives disrupt the way in which audio-visual content is interpreted, enabling new forms of interaction and consumption. An example is the presence of expanded cinematographic universes, which have transformed the processes of film reception into communicational and creative matter. Within the fantastic, horror cinema is relevant by presenting a current and paradigmatic transmedia narrative: the cinematographic universe of The Conjuring , which proposes a series of strategies based on participatory culture and collective knowledge that enhance the transmedia experience. The article tries to detail the transmedia strategies of this universe that rethink the way in which film production is consumed and interacted with, enabling new experiences of participation and interpretation within horror cinema from different languages, media and supports.

A partir de la publicacion del relato «The Vampyre» de John William Polidori en The New Monthly Magazine, y como consecuencia de su atribucion a Lord Byron, se llevaron a cabo numerosas adaptaciones teatrales del mismo. Primero en Paris, despues en Londres y finalmente en Madrid, el publico de la epoca visualizo por primera vez al vampiro encarnado. El presente articulo trata de destacar el papel del teatro en la formacion pionera de la imagen del vampiro decimononico, y recoger como llego al teatro de la Cruz en 1821, donde el actor Juan Carretero se convirtio en el primer vampiro que se pudo ver en Madrid.

This article analyzes Le monde enfin by the French writer Jean-Pierre Andrevon as an example of the relation between the new fantastic and ecology. Adopting canonical fantastic theories as a point of reference, it presents the development of the new fantastic as a genre and Andrevon’s important place in this literary field. Thereafter, it examines the narrative roles of humans and nature in Le Monde enfin in order to demonstrate how the author plays with the conventional definitions of the character and the malevolent phenomenon. As the study strives to prove, Andrevon’s ecological preoccupations strongly influence his literary work. Moreover, the article evokes intertextual references in Le Monde enfin and examines the text in relation to philosophical concepts such as deep ecology and the Gaia hypothesis.
