The conducted study aimed to determine the nutritional status and activity level of white-collar workers.
211 volunteers' demographic information, anthropometric measurements, and 3-day food recording were determined. The scales “Diet Quality Index-International (DQI-I)”, “Healthy Eating Index-2015 (HEI-2015)”, and “Dietary Approaches to Prevent Hypertension (DASH)” were used to determine the quality of the diets. The International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form (IPAQ) was used to calculate the activity level of the participants.
The average age of participants were 35.70 ± 9.36, while 70.6% were women. The average diet quality scores for DQI-I, HEI-2015, and DASH were 47.8 ± 9.79, 56.40±14.04, and, 2.70 ±1.29 respectively. The IPAQ average score was calculated as 851.44±1065.01 MET. The IPAQ results showed that only 13.3% of participants had sufficient activity levels. The physical activity level of the men was found to be significantly higher than that of the women (p

Purpose: This research aims to examine the life satisfaction of esports players in terms of mindfulness and motivation to play. In this study, in which the relational screening model was used,
Material and Methods: T.C. 257 esports athletes who participated in the Esports Literacy project supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports were included. In this study, as data collection tools "Online Gaming Motivation Scale", "Motivational Playing Scale”, “Life Satisfaction Scale”, “Bergen Insomnia Scale”, and “Conscious Awareness Scale” was used.
Results: The findings of the study showed that motivation to play, mindfulness and insomnia explained 13% of the variance in life satisfaction in esports athletes. It has been determined that there is a negative and significant relationship between sleeplessness and life satisfaction of esports athletes, a positive and significant relationship between motivation to socialize in the game and success motivation in the game, mindfulness has a negative relationship with insomnia and a positive and significant relationship with success motivation in the game.
Conclusion: As a result, it is thought that increasing life satisfaction, conscious awareness, motivation to socialize in the game and success motivation in the game, and reducing the insomnia of the esports athletes are the factors that need to be improved for the athletes to increase their game performance and be more successful in their careers.

Background: Motor evoked potentials (MEPs) using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) may give a functional assessment of corticospinal conduction. The aim of this study is to confirm the value of MEPs for the assessment of the dysfunction in spinal cord transmission in patients with clinically minimally symptomatic or asymptomatic and acute-subacute odontoid pathologies. Methods: We measured the MEPs of five cases with acute-subacute odontoid dislocations by using TMS. Demografic features, neurological examinations and neuroimaging findings of the patients have also been noted. Results: The CMCTs and MEP latencies after cortical stimulus of all patients with acute-subacute odontoid dislocation prolonged bilaterally. Additionally, MEP amplitudes were observed decreased in all cases. Conclusions: MEP is quite valuable to show involvement in clinically and radiologically silent cases. Our findings in acute-subacute cases without myelopathy showed us that the CMCTs were prolonged especially in the cases who had motor defisits but also in asymptomatic cases.

Purpose: Atherosclerosis (AS) related diseases are the most common causes of mortality worldwide. N-Nitro-L-Arginine Methyl Ester Hydrochloride (L-NAME)-induced endothelial dysfunction (ED) and AS models require invasive methods for diagnosis.
We aimed to establish noninvasive ultrasonography (USG) model for evaluating ED and AS in rats.
Matherial and Methods: 23 Wistar Albino rats were divided into four groups. Right CCA (rCCA), left CCA (lCCA), abdominal aorta (AA), and right iliac artery (rIA) IMT values of all rats were measured at the beginning of the experiment and before sacrification by USG. Right kidney RI values were calculated at similar times also. Histopathological and immunohistochemical analyzes were performed.
In the sham group, rats received intraperitoneally (IP) sodium chloride. In the L-NAME groups, IP L-NAME was administered.
Results: In the early effect group, significant increase was found in IMT measurements compared to the sham group.
In the late effect group, significant increase was found in IMT measurements compared to the sham group. In addition, rRI increased significantly in the group at the end of the experiment.
Conclusion: In small animal experiments which ED and AS were studied, a whole-body diagnostic noninvasive model was created for the first time with ultrasonography.

Purpose: To analyze the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the Breast Cancer Awareness Measure (BCAM-Tr).
Material and Methods: This was cross-cultural adaptation and validation study. The study sample consisted of a total of 552 women who volunteered to participate in the study between December 2020 and November 2021. Data were collected using a descriptive characteristics form and the BCAM-Tr. The validity of the BCAM-Tr was tested with language validity, content validity, construct validity (first-level Confirmatory Factor Analysis and comparison of known groups) analyses. Reliability was evaluated by conducting test-retest analysis and internal consistency
Results: The BCAM-Tr showed good test-retest reliability (Intraclass Correlation Coefficient=0.89) and internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha=0.89). Cohen’s kappa coefficients indicated moderate to excellent agreement (0.55-0.96). Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed a two‐factor structure. Health professionals had higher correct response rates than women in the general population (p=0.0001), indicating good construct validity.
Conclusion : The BCAM-Tr was shown to be valid and reliable for assessing breast cancer awareness in Turkish women.

Purpose The objective of this study to translate the Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia for Temporomandibular Disorders (TSK-TMD) and to examine its reliability and validity.
Material and Methods: The TSK-TMD was translated into Turkish as per international standards. The study included 111 patients with Temporomandibular Joint Disorder and, aged 18-61 years. The research questionnaire collected demographic information, the Turkish version of TSK-TMD and Pain Catastrophizing Scala (PCS). Using the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Cronbach's alpha coefficient, respectively, internal consistency and test retest reliability were examined. Construct validity was assessed using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA).
Results: The total Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was found to be 0.876. The item total correlation of was found to be between 0.410 and 0.706. The ICC coefficient was found to be 0.951. The correlation coefficient by PCS, measured in terms of parallel from reliability, was discovered to be 0.520. According to the findings of EFA and CFA, the 12-item scale had the same two-factor structure as the original.
Conclusions: These results demonstrate the Turkish version of the TSK-TMD item questionnaire to be a valid and reliable instrument. It can be applied to patients with TMJ problems to assess kinesiophobia.
