Time Domain Analysis of UWB Pulsed Field Diffraction 超宽带脉冲场衍射的时域分析

A time-domain version of the uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (TD-UTD) is introduced to describe, in closed form, the UWB transient electromagnetic diffracted by a perfectly conducting wedge. This TD-UTD impulse response is obtained by a Fourier inversion of the corresponding frequency domain UTD solution. The UWB pulsed diffracted excitation of the wedge may be found via its convolution with the closed form time domain dyadic diffraction coefficient. Some numerical examples, which illustrate the utility of these developments and give more intrinsically interpretations for the mechanics as well as characteristics of UWB pulse diffraction, are presented.

Study and Design of the Dual-Band Low Noise Amplifier 双频低噪声放大器的研究与设计

A dual-band source-inductive-degeneration cascoded low noise amplifier, whose center frequencies are 940 MHz and 2020 MHz respectively, based on common usage of the component independent of the frequency, was investigated and designed in this paper. The interstage mutual coupled inductors provide the required input impedance matching and interstage impedance transformation. The circuit's reverse isolation for the cascoded LNA is improved. The parallel capacitance between the MOSFET's gate and source optimize noise factor of the LNA. The matching network design, the noise optimizing were analyzed hereof. The development of LNA and the methods of NF optimization were studied. The designed LNA achieves power gains of 26 dB and 25 dB, and minimum noise figure of 1.1 dB and 2.0 dB, and power of 10.5 mw with 1.5 voltages respectively.

Optical Properties of Ellipsoidal Particles in the Geometrical Optics Approximation 几何光学近似中椭球粒子的光学性质

A new geometric-optics model has been developed for the calculation of polarization properties for ellipsoidal particles. The model uses the ray-tracing technique to solve the near field on the ellipsoidal particle surface, which is then transformed to the far field on the basis of the electromagnetic equivalence theorem. Sphere is special ellipsoid, so this method can calculate polarization properties of sphere particles. From comparisons with the results computed by the Mie method for sphere particle, we show that the novel geometric-optics method can be applied to the computation of the phase function of ellipsoidal particles whose size parameters along the minimum dimension are larger than 30.

Generation of Transmission Zero through Electric and Magnetic Mixed Coupling 通过电磁混合耦合产生传动零

A novel method to generate a transmission zero is proposed through both electric and magnetic mixed coupling between two coupled resonators without using any additional cross coupling. A novel equivalent circuit model of two coupled resonators with both electric and magnetic mixed coupling is given to analyze the principle of this approach. An example of two coupled TE01 mode dielectric resonators coupled by both an iris and a probe is illustrated to prove the availability of the proposed method.

Microwave analog and simulation in open quantum dots 开放量子点微波模拟与仿真

Electrons in open quantum dots could be regarded as resonance of electron wave in a potential. The relationship between the wave function of quantum dots and the electromagnetic wave in open resonance cavity was studied by theoretically. On this base, the characters including transmission function and distribution of field in corresponding open cavity were simulated by using electromagnetic code: HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator). The simulation results agree with the experimental results. This method could be used study the properties of quantum dots and electron wave guide.

Spectral Methods for Accurate Identification and Quantification of Memory Effects of Wideband RF Power Amplifiers 宽带射频功率放大器记忆效应准确识别和定量的光谱方法

In this paper, a spectral method based on the memoryless predistortion technique is presented to identify accurately the memory effects of wideband RF power amplifiers stimulated by practical modulated signals. According to this new definition of the memory effects, a novel metric to measure quantitatively the memory effects in wideband power amplifiers is proposed. With the proposed memory effect metrics, the intensity of the memory effects for different power amplifiers, under a variety of the excitation modulated signals, can be quantitatively evaluated.

A New Equivalent Circuit Model of MIM Capacitor for RFIC 一种新的RFIC用MIM电容等效电路模型

A new scalable Metal-Insulator-Metal (MIM) capacitor model is presented for RF (Radio Frequency) applications. Four MIM capacitors were fabricated in 0.13 U m CMOS technology. Using physical analysis based on the new model, parameter optimization and curve fitting, the scaling rules are given for all elements on the circuit model. The model fits very well with the measured data in the frequency range 500 MHz-10.01 GHz. The results show that the proposed model provides accurate results, while retaining the physical properties of every element in the model.

3D-fractal rectangular Koch dipole and 3D-fractal Hilbert dipole antennas made of wires are introduced. Theses antennas exhibit lower resonant frequencies and small volume occupations. The performance characteristics of the proposed antennas are examined and compared with successive iterations for the same antenna height for the 3D-fractal rectangular Koch dipole antenna and for the same wire length for the 3D-fractal Hilbert dipole antenna. The radiation properties are considered including input impedance and VSWR as functions of frequency. Also resonant frequencies and their corresponding radiation resistance, quality factor Q and radiation patterns are presented.

Room temperature pre-aberrational technology applied in the microwave equalizer design 室温预像差技术在微波均衡器设计中的应用

The gain frequency characteristic and input-output characteristic of microwave vacuum tube were analyzed. That the attenuation frequency characteristic of matched equalizer is not a single curve but a permitted range was expatiated. Normally, averaging the upper limit and lower limit acts as room equalized curve, this should be controlled not to overrun the limit in all different conditions. The rule of equalized curve shift with temperature was concluded from large amount of measured data analysis; the shifts are not symmetry in high temperature and low temperature but complex with many influence factors. Room temperature aberrant equalized curve at some frequency band, where some substructural resonant curves shifted beyond the limit, was designed to considered all-inclusive property at room temperature, high temperature and low temperature. The pre-aberration technology, which needs large amount of design and tuning again and again to get experience, is an effective method in the equalizer design and other similar microwave device design.

One Mathematical Model for Analyzing DBF Error in Smart Antenna System 智能天线系统DBF误差分析的数学模型

Nowadays, digital beam forming (DBF) technology is more and more widely used in communication and radar systems. But in most situations, lots of errors such as the array position uncertainty or RF channel dissimilarity, A/D sampling deviation, etc., usually make the actual result deviated from the theory analysis. In this paper, firstly, the effects caused by these uncertainties are illustrated, then a new mathematical model is set up to estimate these errors, and finally the model is proved very useful by the simulation results.
目前,数字波束形成(DBF)技术在通信和雷达系统中得到越来越广泛的应用。但在大多数情况下,由于阵列位置的不确定性或射频通道的不相似性、A/D采样偏差等诸多误差,往往会使实际结果与理论分析产生偏差。本文首先分析了这些不确定性对系统的影响,然后建立了一个新的数学模型来估计这些误差,最后通过仿真结果证明了该模型的实用性。
