Ab ract. The application of comparator in rumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) was considered to determine indium by the short-lived radionuclide 116m In it its mineral resources such as different types of polymetallic ore, copper, lead-zinc, tin, tin-tung en ores, and similar. Cu and Zn contents of the samples eter RLP-21T, Kazakh an. If Cu mass fraction exceeded 0.4–0.5% or that of Zn exceeded 3% (that is often characteri ic of polymetallic, copper, and lead-zinc ores), then their contents were used in comparator INAA as the internal andards measured by an independent method. If none of the conditions were met, then the andard addition method was applied using a 10 mg addition of reagent ZnO to each sample. A to verify accuracy of the method. The proposed variant of comparator INAA was shown to insure accuracy precision according to the indu rial andard O 41-08-221-04 (Russian Federation). The method was tried out for several dozens of ore samples presenting various indium mineral resources including the ones from the gold-polymetallic deposit Maikain in North-Ea ern Kazakh an.

Ab ract. In this udy the endophytic bacteria from the root nodules of lentil ( Lens culinaris L.) grown on were isolated from nodules and four isolates (L2, L6, L9, L10) were able to produce lipase, protease and cellulose enzymes. All bacterial isolates were positive to glucanase activity. Eleven isolates did not show antagoni ic activity again fungal rains Fusarium (F.) oxysporum , F. equiseti and Verticillium (V.) dahliae . One isolate (L10) appeared to have the highe antifungal activity again F. oxysporum , F. equiset and V. dahlia . The effect of bacterial isolates of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on root and shoot growth of lentils were (B.) subtilis Rhizobium Enterobacter tabaci L4, B. cereus L9, and B. velezensis L10. They can possibly be sugge ed as microbial inoculants for lentil under saline soil conditions. Among bacterial isolates B. velezensis L10 could be used as a biological control agent to protect lentil from fungal pathogens.

Melanoma represents the most forceful derm cancer with a high rate of mortality. Although chemotherapy has been commonly used in the treatment of melanoma, drug resistance and side effects of conventional chemotheurapeutics negatively affect the continuity and success the treatment. 1,2.4 triazole derivatives are popular compounds of recent years with anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antiviral, anti-proliferative and COVID-19 associated anti-fungal activities. However, studies that revealed the effects of 1,2.4 triazole compounds on melanoma cells are limited. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of a 3-(4-chloropheny1)-5-(4-methoxybenzy1)-4H-1,2.4-triazole derivative (B9) compound on cytotoxicity and cell cycle using MTT and flow cytometrv, respectively and the inhibitory' effect on tyrosinase in human melanoma (VMM917) cells using colorimetric assay for melanin content. The compound B9 exhibited a selective cytotoxic effect (4.9-fold) on VMM917 cells compared to normal cells. B9 induced cell cycle arrest at the S phase and also decreased the amount of melanin in the cells. The results suggest a novel candidate drug in melanoma therapy. The detailed investigation of the molecular mechanism of this selective cytotoxic effect will provide understanding on the usability of B9 as an alternative chemotherapeutic agent in melanoma.
