Technology is developed day by day. During covid-19 pandemic era educational system in every stage of school from playground until university already change their study system. English learning is one of the subjects that will not be accepted by Indonesian student without any direct explanation from the teacher. The media is one of the solutions for English learners to help them get more understanding on it especially for Grammatical subject. Kampung Inggris LC also well-known as the largest English language course in Indonesia. This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of learning grammar through Kampung Inggris Lc YouTube channel. We carried out this study with qualitative method through questionnaire that will be shared to our classmates using google form and analyse the viewers comment of some video. Then, we explained the result using description. The result of this study described about perception by students on employing Kampung Inggris YouTube channel as a media to learning grammar. In conclusion, this study investigated about the students’ perspective on learning grammar using Kampung Inggris Lc YouTube channel.
科技日新月异。在2019冠状病毒病大流行时期,从操场到大学的各个阶段的教育系统已经改变了他们的学习系统。如果没有老师的直接解释,英语学习是印尼学生不会接受的科目之一。对于英语学习者来说,媒体是帮助他们更好地理解英语尤其是语法主题的途径之一。Kampung Inggris LC也是印度尼西亚最大的英语课程。本研究旨在了解学生对通过《甘榜Inggris Lc》YouTube频道学习语法的看法。我们用定性的方法进行了这项研究,通过问卷调查,用谷歌表格分享给我们的同学,并分析了一些视频的观众评论。然后,我们用描述对结果进行了解释。本研究的结果描述了学生对使用甘榜英格丽YouTube频道作为学习语法的媒介的感知。综上所述,本研究调查了学生使用《甘榜Inggris Lc》YouTube频道学习语法的观点。

The rapid influence of the development of information and communication technology in the current era of globalization cannot be avoided in the world of education. One of them is the development of the Edmodo platform. Edmodo is one of the most important online-based educational platforms in the world of education, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic that can be accessed for free by teachers and students. In implementing the use of technology and applications in learning, many obstacles are experienced including many students who have not fully mastered technology, the lack of student understanding when the lecturer explains the material, especially learning about Reading Comprehension material. The authors chose the Edmodo platform to be the object of media research for assessing reading comprehension tests because it was considered appropriate and quite effective compared to using other platfomrs. Therefore, to find out more, the author made a research that aims to analyze the use of the Edmodo platform as a medium for assessing reading comprehension. This type of research is the method library research. This study uses journals and articles as reference to collecting data. The conclusion from the results of this study is that by using Edmodo as an assessment mode, cheating can be reduced and there is no opportunity for students to see their friends' answers, or it can be said to work on their own tests.

Listening as the first ability gifted to human beings is essential, especially in the language learning and teaching process. To evaluate students' listening ability, there is one test that is often used for measuring this ability which is TOEFL. However, the students experienced some difficulties in answering the test, particularly in part A listening section. Based on that problem, this study aims to investigate: (1) The implementation of Video Making Project in solving students' difficulties toward TOEFL part A listening section and; (2) Their achievement of TOEFL for the listening course. This study was designed as qualitative research which used Narrative Inquiry Study. This study also used the interview to collect the data. The data were taken from one English Education Department lecturer. The results showed that the lecturer is satisfied with the students' understanding, and the creativity of the students is also involved in making the video for their assignment. In conclusion, using the video-making project in teaching listening can help the learning process run smoothly and get better results for students' scores.

One of the media that students access to improve their skill is Tiktok application. This study attempts to examine the utilization of Tiktok application to enhance students speaking skill in English Language Teaching (ELT) and reveal students perspective regarding this matter. The Survey used descriptive-qualitative method by collecting the data from several students through questionnaire. The result of the questions that given are found; 1) the students were very often accessing Tiktok application especially for English content to improve their speaking skill. 2) Tiktok application can make students entertained and not feel bored while learning speaking English. Nevertheless, in this case of study, the researchers found that Tiktok application is very innovative media to help students improving their speaking skill especially in ELT.

The development of information and technology in the modern era of globalization cannot be avoided in the world of education. Technology is also needed to support learning assessment. Learning technologies that support assessment are available on the internet. Teachers must be familiar with technology that supports assessment in order to take advantage of it. The technology in question makes assessment more fun, efficient and effective. Kahoot is a platform that teachers can use to assess student learning outcomes. This study is aimed to examine the effectiveness of kahoot as a Medium for Grammar Exercises in English Education Department. The research population includes TBI students, consisting of 20 students at UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto in the academic year of 2019/2020. This study uses a pre-experiment that uses one class. the average value between the pre-test and post-test experienced a difference. the average value of the pretest is 39,50 and the mean post-test score of 67,00. The significant value of the research was 0.000, significant level 0.05., it means that the mean before being taught using Kahoot application was lower than after being taught using Kahoot application. Thus, it can be concluded that as a medium, Kahoot has effectiveness application for teaching grammar Exercises in English Education Department.

This research aimed to analyze the details of types, factors, and gestures that emerge through the utilization of code-mixing by Cinta Laura Kiehl in the Narasi Newsroom which talks about animal harassment in Indonesia. This is quite an attractive study because the subject of the research has mastered multi-language skills with an intercultural background. In addition, code-mixing is becoming a present-day lifestyle of language utilization in formal and informal cases. This is descriptive qualitative research that analyzed by code-mixing approach in sociolinguistics theory through the Cinta Laura’s answers utterance. The primary data were gathered by conducting video observation on YouTube and doing note-taking of the manuscript which consists of code-mixing. Moreover, the secondary data was collected from several books and journals that have been cited. This research found two code-mixing types commonly utilized; insertion type and congruent-lexicalization. Then, family, educational background, environments, and multi-language skills are measured as the main sociolinguistics factors that affect code-mixing. Moreover, during the show, there is co-gesture analyzed consciously emphasis while the subject said the different language to strengthen addressee comprehension.

Pronunciation is a crucial thing in English speaking, which is phonology in action. Phonological rules deal with the correct pronunciation of words. Pronunciation is an aspect of learning English that many students struggle with. In this digital era, students need simple thing to learn pronunciation. English sound is the application to help student learn pronunciation. This application learning more detailed about pronunciation, such as stress, symbol, sound, etc. This study is aims to investigate the perception of the students toward English Sound Application to the learning of pronunciation. the researched method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method, and the data collected through depth-interview. The data gathered through the interview with 10 students of 6th Grade English Education Department the result of the research have shown that most of the participant are the user of English Sound Application, and this app really enjoyable, useful, and gave many improvements in english. Accordingly, this research recommends students use English Sound Application in the learning of Phonology and pronunciation.

Canvas, a web-based learning management system, has been recently used to assist the students’ language learning and help teachers to manage digital classroom activities. In online learning situations, this software is valuable to support teacher and students’ interaction with the help of an internet connection. This learning management system provides a systematic review that effortlessly presents online learning materials, assesses students’ learning progress, and encourages students to engage in courses. In this study, the student's perception of the use of canvas as a learning platform in the online classroom was investigated. To gather the data, semi-structured interviews were given to three English Education Department students having Technology Enhanced Language Learning Class. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of this study indicate that students give positive perceptions of the use of canvas in TELL class. Students claimed that the usage of Canvas in learning activities has several benefits. Those benefits are (1) Various features of Canvas that help in learning, (2) Developing students’ engagement, and (3) Promoting students’ self-regulated learning.

Pandemic Covid-19 has changed many features over the world, particularly for educational aspect. The significance roles of teachers in pandemic situation is should be able to intensely transform the learning styles that used in the classroom; face to face into blended learning. Information Communication Technology (ICT) is one of alternative ways for teachers in teaching English as Foreign Language (EFL) using online application. Thus, this research is aimed to observed the implication of online application in State Islamic University Prof. K. H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto, especially in English major at 2nd and 4th semesters. This research uses descriptive qualitative with a sampling approach which gathered with an online survey followed by in-dept interview. The result present that the most used application in the classroom is Google Meet. Most of students are claimed that Google Meet is helpful for learning activity in many aspects besides the difficulties. Thus, it can be concluded that the students’ perspective on blended learning had a positive impact of the blended learning.
Covid-19大流行改变了世界各地的许多特征,特别是在教育方面。教师在疫情中的重要作用是能够强烈地转变课堂学习方式;面对面的混合式学习。信息通信技术(ICT)是教师利用网络应用进行外语教学的替代手段之一。因此,本研究旨在观察伊斯兰国立大学K. H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto教授在线申请的影响,特别是在第二学期和第四学期的英语专业。本研究采用描述性定性与抽样方法,通过深入访谈收集在线调查。结果表明,在课堂上使用最多的应用是b谷歌Meet。大多数学生认为谷歌Meet除了困难之外,在许多方面对学习活动都有帮助。由此可见,学生对混合学习的看法对混合学习产生了积极的影响。

Information Communication Technology (ICT) is one of alternative ways for teachers in teaching English as Foreign Language (EFL) using online application. Thus, this research is aimed to observed the implication of online application in State Islamic University Prof. K. H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto, especially in English major at 2nd and 4th semesters. This research uses descriptive qualitative with a sampling approach which gathered with an online survey followed by in-dept interview. The result present that the most used application in the classroom is Google Meet. Most of students are claimed that Google Meet is helpful for learning activity in many aspects besides the difficulties. In this generation reading book becoming a bored activity that they have to do to get more information. A reading assessment with long text make them bored and not enjoy the reading proses. So that, reading assessment is not interesting for students in this generation. Information Communication Technology (ICT) is the answer of this teaching problem. ICT is about the technology that use to help the communication problem in teaching. One of the application in ICT is Quizizz. Quizizz is application to make quiz. That are so many quiz we could find and give it to out students. You may make your own quiz or modify the quiz. So, in this research it will investigate how Quizizz would help the reading assessment becoming more interesting and enjoyable for the students. The object of this research is the students of Senior High School. This research used Systematically Literature Review (SLR) as a method to investigate the lates articles that have the similar problem and to answer the problem of this research. Along with the research have found 24 articles with similar problem that is the effectiveness of Quizizz for reading assessment. Most of that article shows that Quizizz is effective for reading assessment especially for formative reading assessment. This research also using the criteria or CALL to analysis the effectiveness of Quizizz as a tool of reading assessment in Senior High School Students.
