The election of head of region in Indonesia will be held in June 2018, the candidates compete to get public attention and sympathy with communication through social media. On social media, the candidates can informs the vision, mission, programs, accommodate the public aspirations, and communicate directly to the public with style of communication of each candidates. This research aims to find how communication style used by the candidate ahead of the elections on instagram. This research uses ethnographic virtual method by analyzing communication style that used a candidate's in communicating with netizen. This research uses observation and participation in the study of literature in the process of data collection. The results showed that communication style used by the candidate Ridwan Kamil on social media instagram ia a two way communication style (The Equalitarian Style). It can be seen from the communication and the delivery of messages that are two-way. Communication conducted informal and open, where the netizen can access the candidate account and expressed their opinion, criticism, ideas, and support directly. The candidate using social media to communicate with public directly, describe their programs, information visits to regions, election debate agenda information, and other activities. On any information uploaded by RK account is able to acquire as many as a hundred netizen comments up to four thousand both positive and negative.

Artikel ini fokus pada masalah perilaku menyimpang, khususnya pelecehan seksual yang terjadi di media sosial. Pelecehan seksual adalah masalah sosial yang sudah ada sejak lama. Selain dengan ruang baru, remaja yang menggunakan internet telah membuka celah untuk menjadikan diri mereka sebagai korban pelecehan seksual itu sendiri. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif digunakan dalam kajian ini dengan melakukan analisis dokumen terkait penggunaan media sosial di masyarakat. Artikel ini berusaha untuk menguraikan tentang perilaku lama pelecehan seksual yang direproduksi ke dalam media sosial. Teori Anomi dan Ketegangan sosial digunakan sebagai pisau analisis untuk menguraikan terjadinya pelecehan seksual yang terjadi di media sosial saat ini. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial yang tidak disertai pengawasan dan perhatian dari lingkungan sekitar akan memicu terjadinya perilaku-perilaku menyimpang. Pelecehan seksual sebagai salah satu bentuk perilaku menyimpang marak terjadi karena minimnya pengetahuan, kurangnya pengawasan, serta rendahnya tingkat kesadaran remaja dalam penggunaan media sosial secara bijak. Tindak pelecehan secara verbal di dunia maya terhadap perempuan, baik seksual maupun non-seksual yang terjadi merupakan bentuk kebiasaan yang direproduksi

This research is motivated by the interest of researcher in observing selfie phenomenon which has spread in every layer of society without exception to UNP is students who joined Instagram group of UNP Cantik (GUC). Researcher found that what they show in the GUC not only selfie, but also different expressions and background that they depict to the public. Obviously behind these actions, regardless of their motive that to show selfie photos with various forms of expression and background they want to perform. This study aims to analyze the motive of GUC’s student member. This study analyzed with theory of phenomenology by Alfred Schutz. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenology study research. The research result found that there were three Selfie motives of GUC’s Members: (1) gainging the self-satisfaction and entertainment. (2) Building self image. (3) Drawing the attention of others
