The causes of decametric radio emission from Jupiter and their activities have considered at length. Some remarkable effects about the satellite Io of Jupiter and non-Io related sources responsible for decametric emissions as recorded in our observatories at Kalyani (22.97° N, 88.43° E) and at Kolkata (22.58° N, 88.42° E) at 20.1 MHz for the period from January 2011 to March 2015 have been critically examined. The probability of detecting radio sources A, B, and C against Jupiter's Central Meridian Longitude (CML) have taken into consideration. We have examined the occurrence probability against Io phase and CML and also plotted the year vs. average duration of presence of Jupiter in West Bengal sky for the years 2011 to 2015, showing that the Jupiter is in declining phase in the northern hemisphere. A comparison of the occurrences of Io and non-Io events of all the three categories during spring, summer, autumn and winter have then been made, analyzing the probability of occurrences of Io related and non-Io related events during the four seasons. Finally some typical records have been chosen to illustrate the characteristic variations of the received radio signals associated with different types of events.

It is an well established fact that 3D design has a number of benefits over corresponding 2D design, albeit with somewhat more design complexity. One key advantage is the reduced set of Test Vectors needed to test a 3D circuit as the design is spread over multiple planes, each plane having reduced size than the original design. When all the TVs across these layers are combined we still get a smaller set as the TV complexity increases super linearly with the size of the circuit. In this paper we designed 4-, 8-, 16-, 32- and 64-bit 2D KSA adder circuits. We created the 3D version of the corresponding KSA circuits using two planes, inserting necessary control points in the form of Scan flip-flops. We then used TetraMax to create ATPG set of Test Vectors for these circuits to detect stuck at and transition faults. We find that the 3D version enables us to use effectively a much reduced set of Test Vectors for pre-bond testing compared to the 2D counterpart at the same time with increasing fault coverage. This is in confirmation with some of the results published in the literature on this.

An integrated PFC and DC/DC stage with reduced voltage stress across the switches is proposed for power factor correction and output voltage regulation. The paper aims to converter gives AC to DC rectification, input power factor correction and output voltage regulation that all will takes place into a single stage. The advantage of PFC and DC/DC stage system includes optimum utilization of common controlled switches, benefit of the system that numbers of switches utilization are also reduced significantly, so that Conduction losses are lowered by eliminating the full-bridge diode rectifier. Feedback from output side to input side is obtained by inserting an additional winding on primary side, due to this voltage stresses across the switches reduced. According to the results are verified for different input voltages from 80V to 270V (rms) by Matlab simulation.

Rapid advancement of Information technology and Communication, VANET(VehicularAd-hoc Networks) has received immence attention from academia, industry and government in all over world. Due to the change of life style, number of Vehicles on roads increases in last few years. Driving of Vahicles has not stopped from being more challenging and dangerous in day to day. Again Road infrastructure are already saturated. Safety distance between two adjacence vehicle and reasonable speed of vehicles are hardly respected. Drivers is going often with lack of enough attention. Tens of thousands of people die and hundreds of thousands get injured in traffic accidents all over the world in each year. So the life or death risk may be must special feature of VANET's. In the traditional networks or other emerging mobile networks, Security and privacy failures usually bring financial losses, where as in VANET, both security and privacy failures could be much more serious life or death risk. So VANET have emerged as an exciting research and application area. In this paper we have tried to discussed about the overview of VANET infrastructure, some applicatons and some sereous technical and security issues to implement an ideal VANET. We have also mentioned some major attacks on VANET. We hope the insight discussed here will help protocol designers and applications engineers to improve the services provided in VANET and assist drivers to make secure techniques.

The world wide web is a most well known electronic protocol which allows us to perform massive wireless communication like military communication, commercial and other private communication. But there is a tremendous security crisis such that data security, integrity, theft, loss and presence of infected applications for a authentic communication through digital medium that is why research and development on cryptography gets huge importance by every government as well as commercial sector and private sector. There are many robust cryptographic technique already have tested. Elliptic curve cryptography is a one type of public key cryptosystem like RSA, Diffie — Hellman. The main advantage of ECC is that it allows equal security for a smaller key size than the key size used RSA, that is why ECC reduces the processing overhead. This paper represents a brief review with some statistical results on how ECC has becomes the latest trend in the present and future cryptographic scenario.

This paper introduces graphene nanoribbon (GNR) as prospective filler material in a signal-ground through silicon via (TSV). A simplified but accurate analytical model is presented based on the unique physical configuration of multi-layer GNR (MLGNR) based TSVs. The equivalent electrical models of Cu and MLGNR are used to represent the via line of a driver-TSV-load (DTL) setup to analyze the propagation delay and power dissipation. For TSV lengths from 10 to 30μm, an average reduction in delay and power dissipation of 56.1% and 52.1%, respectively, are observed using novel MLGNR instead of conventional Cu based TSV.

Accurate measurement of liquid level in a storage tank is an essential requirement of any process plant. Various conducting liquids like tape water, acid solution alkali solution etc. are stored in storage tanks. Measurement of liquid level in these tanks may be done by various techniques such as float type, displacer type, capacitance type etc. In the present paper an accurate non-contact capacitance type technique is described. In this technique measurement errors due to stray capacities effect atmospheric effect, parasitic effect, perpendicular plate capacitance effect etc. observed in conventional capacitive techniques are eliminated. Due to these effects, the conventional capacitance type level transducers require frequent recalibration. This difficulty is avoided in the proposed technique. From the experimental study of the proposed transducer. it is found to have a linear characteristic with minimum measurement error.

Breast cancer is the second leading causes of cancer related deaths among women. Detection of breast cancer at the initial stages increases the probability of survival of the patient. Mammography has been one of the most reliable methods for early detection of this disease. Computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) of mammograms has received great attention because of its speed, consistency and providing a better solution for automatic detection of breast cancer. However, poor visibility of mammographic image addresses the necessity of accurate segmentation technique. In this paper we have introduced a novel and advanced kernel based fuzzy c-mean (FCM) clustering technique for segmentation of mammographic masses. To improve the accuracy of the segmentation process two important parameters that convey the properties of masses like ‘entropy’ and “intensity mean” of the kernel are taken into account for fuzzification purposes. This kernel is moved across the mammograms to collect all possible values and hence these feature values are exploited as the data of FCM clustering technique. We have also compared the performance of the proposed approach with intensity based conventional FCM clustering technique and have found better segmentation results for both visual interpretation as well as high level detection.

In this paper, we propose the nonlinear multimodal optimization problem of low pass FIR filter design using three conventional optimization algorithms. The efficacy of the proposed method was compared with the traditional approach of filter design Parks McClellan algorithm as reference. In optimization algorithms mean square error based cost function was used as the fitness function. It is seen was observed that the BAT algorithm statistically outperforms Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) in terms of stopband attenuation characteristics and ripple performance of the designed filter.

Cloud computing is a promising computing paradigm which recently has drawn extensive attention from both academia and industry. Data privacy is an important issue for cloud computing as third party maintenance of data leads to security threat. Moreover, the cloud customers paid bill as per their usage to cloud service providers in a cloud environment. In this context, processing queries in cloud environment in a secured and cost-effective way is utmost important from both the viewpoints of cloud service providers as well as cloud customers. In this paper, first, an approach has been developed for maintaining data privacy of private sensitive data in hybrid cloud computing. This mechanism ensures that the private and sensitive data of an enterprise in a cloud environment is to be stored and maintained within the enterprise itself for globally distributed enterprises. Next, an authentication monitor is introduced in this work to maintain authenticity. Finally, a delay-based cost model has been developed in this paper for processing queries in a secured and optimized way by using cloud resources optimally in hybrid cloud environment. The analytical result of the delay-based cost model is also illustrated at the end of the paper.
