Study on Minimization of Environmental and Ecological Effects of Railroad Development considering the Distance from the Roads 考虑与公路距离的铁路发展对环境和生态影响的最小化研究

Railroads and roads are typical linear projects, and their networks are expanding nationwide. To minimize the impact of their development on the environment, ecological disconnection due to the parallel lines of railroads and roads is to be avoided as much as possible. In this study, to examine the environmental impact of railroad and road development, the characteristics of railroads and roads and the differences between them were examined through a comparative analysis of key evaluation items. Based on the result, the road development, unlike the railroad project, suggests items for establishing an efficient land use plan and soil protection as the key evaluation items. There are no specific evaluation items and criteria that can be used to examine the environmental impact of railroad lines located adjacent to roads. In this study, eight evaluation items were suggested by reviewing the relevant literature. In particular, in the strategic environmental impact assessment stage, which examines the adequacy and location feasibility of the plan, the minimum separation distance criteria were proposed to examine in advance the environmental impact of railroads located adjacent to the existing roads. The distances were examined for the previously operated routes, and a distance of less than 200 m was suggested to minimize the environmental impact. The results were compared with those in other studies and analyzed. The results of this study can be used as a basis for examining alternative routes that can minimize the environmental impact of adjacent railroads and roads.

The Analysis of Effect of Biopolymer Treated Soils in Seed Spray Method in the River Embankment 生物聚合物处理土壤喷种法在河堤中的效果分析

미생물 유래 베타글루칸과 잔탄검 계열의 바이오폴리머는 식물 성장에 효과적이고 토양의 강도를 증진시키는 기능을 지니고 있어 하천 제방의 토양 보강 및 안정화 재료로서 활용이 가능하다. 본 연구의 목적은 분사 공법을 이용하여 바이오폴리머 신소재를 실규모 제방에 시공하는 경우 바이오폴리머에 의해 하천 제방 표면 토양의 강도 증진 및 식생 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 실규모 하천제방에서 바이오폴리머를 이용하여 제방 표면을 피복하였고, 혼합재료에 대한 강도 측정 결과 바이오폴리머를 처리한 구역에서 강도가 높게 나타났다. 그리고 큰김의털과 호밀풀을 대상으로 식물 생장을 조사하였으며, 두 식물종의 지상부 생장에 긍정적인 효과를 확인하였다. 반면 대상 식물종의 지하부 생장은 바이오폴리머가 처리된 토양에서 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 바이오폴리머를 처리한 토양에서는 토양이 수분을 보유하는 능력이 증가하여 바이오폴리머로 처리로 인해 오히려 지하부 성장을 더디게 하는 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구의 결과에 따라 분사공법을 이용한 바이오폴리머 시공은 토양의 강도 증진 효과와 하천 제방의 녹화에 사용하기 충분한 것으로 판단된다. 그러나 하천 제방에 식재하는 광범위한 식물 종에 대한 바이오폴리머의 효과와 식물 종 별로 적정 바이오폴리머 농도에 대한 연구가 필요할 것이다.
微生物由来β -葡聚糖和余炭剑系列的生物聚合物对植物生长有效果,具有增强土壤强度的功能,可以作为河川堤坝的土壤加固及稳定化材料使用。本研究的目的是,利用喷射工艺在实规模堤坝上施工生物聚合物新材料时,通过生物聚合物验证河堤表面土壤强度的增强及植被效果。在实规模的河堤上利用生物聚合物覆盖堤坝表面,对混合材料进行强度测定的结果显示,生物聚合物处理区域的强度较高。并以大紫菜的毛和黑麦草为对象进行了植物生长调查,确认了对两种植物地上部生长的积极效果。相反,对象植物种类的地下部分生长在生物聚合物处理过的土壤中显示出减少的倾向。在处理生物聚合物的土壤中,土壤保有水分的能力会增加,用生物聚合物处理反而会使地下的生长缓慢。根据本研究的结果,判断利用喷射工法的生物聚合物施工具有增强土壤强度的效果,可以充分用于河堤的绿化。但是有必要研究生物聚合物对在河堤上种植的广泛植物种类的效果和根据植物种类适当的生物聚合物浓度。

Introduction of Alien Plants on the Fill and Cut Slopes of the Road Construction in South Korea 韩国公路填筑、开挖边坡外来植物的引进

Road development is considered an important factor in invasion and dispersion of ailen plants by damaging the natural ecosystems and connecting the detached landscapes into long tubular structures. In this study, vegetation survey was carried out according to the topographical characteristics of cut slope, fill slope, and flat land at the construction site in order to understand the effect of road developemt on the change of the floristic composition of ailen plants. Road developement projects caused a lot of changes in annual and biennial alien plants because of continuous disturbances. Changes in species composition of alien plants decreased in the cut slope. On the other hand, the ailen palnts of the fill slope increased. The increase or decrease alien plants on flat land were identified depending on where it occurred, and no major trend was found. The cause of these change was driven by unintentionally introduced alien plants. In particular, the cut slope with a high occurence of unintentional ailen plants should not be used as a source of high-risk alien plants such as ecosystem disturbances. Since the transplanted species were intentionally planted by the landscape plan, it was possible to identify colonies from early stages and spread to the nearby flat land. Therefore, in order to minimize the impact of road slope vegetation on the surrounding ecosystem during and after road construction, it is suggested to plant high viability plants in the landscape design during the environmental impact assessment consultation.

Assessment of Levee Slope Reinforced with Bio-polymer by Image Analysis 生物聚合物加固堤防边坡的图像评价

이 연구는 자연에 기반을 둔 하천기술을 제방에 적용하여 그 효과를 평가하기 위해 수행되었다. 친환경 신소재 바이오폴리머를 제체 표면에 적용하여 내구성과 친환경성을 증진시킴과 동시에 월류에 대응하기 위한 제방의 보강 대책을 수립하고자 하였다. 안동하천연구센터에 현장토를 사용하여 높이 1 m, 마루 폭 3 m, 사면경사 1:2, 총 길이 5 m의 중규모 제방모형을 제작하였으며, 바이오폴리머와 흙을 적정 비율로 혼합한 바이오-소일 (bio-soil)을 제방 전면에 5 cm 두께로 도포하여 월류 발생에 대한 제방의 안정성 평가 실험을 수행하였다. 영상분석 프로그램을 이용한 픽셀기반 분석 기법을 적용하여 시간에 따른 제방사면의 붕괴면적을 산정하였으며 그 결과, 신소재 적용 제방의 경우 완전붕괴가 발생하는 시간은 일반 흙 제방에 비해 12배 이상 증가해서 붕괴지연효과가 상당히 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Effects of Hydrogeomorphology and Watershed Land Cover on Water Quality in Korean Reservoirs 水文地貌和流域土地覆被对韩国水库水质的影响

In order to study the water quality status and its causal environmental factors, the water quality variables of chemical oxygen demand (COD), chlorophyll a (Chl a), Total phosphorus (TP), and total nitrogen (TN), the hydrogeomorphologic variables of water level fluctuation, total water storage, dam elevation, watershed area, and shoreline development index, and the land cover variables of forest, agricultural area, and urbanized area in the watershed were investigated in total 73 reservoirs with various operational purposes, water level fluctuation and geographical distribution in South Korea. The water quality was more eutrophic in the reservoirs of the more urbanized and agricultural area in the watershed, the low altitude, the narrow water level fluctuation, the narrowed watershed area, and the more circular shape. In terms of the purposes of reservoir operation, the reservoirs for agricultural irrigation were more eutrophic than the reservoirs for flood control. The results of the variable selection and path analysis showed that COD determined by Chl a and TP was directly affected by water level fluctuation and the shoreline development of the reservoirs. TP was directly affected by the urbanized area of the watershed which was related to the elevation of the reservoir. TP was also influenced by the water level fluctuation and the shoreline development. In conclusion, the eutrophication of the reservoirs in Korea would be influenced by the land use of the watershed, hydrological and geographical characteristics of the reservoir, water level fluctuation by the anthropogenic management according to the reservoir operation purpose, and the location of the reservoirs.

Effects of the β-Glucan- and Xanthan gum-based Biopolymer on the Performance of Plants Inhabiting in the Riverbank β-葡聚糖和黄原胶基生物聚合物对河岸植物生长性能的影响

하천 제방의 토양 안정화 물질의 하나로, 미생물 유래 베타글루칸과 잔탄검 계열 바이오폴리머를 사용하고자 하는 연구가 현재 진행중이다. 본 연구의 목적은 바이오폴리머 신소재의 생태성 평가의 일환으로, 바이오폴리머가 국내 하천에 자생하는 식물의 씨앗 발아 및 생육에 미치는 영향을 평가하는 것이다. 낙동강과 영산강에 자생하는 총 9종의 식물을 대상으로 시험한 결과, 발아율, 총 건중량, 지상부 건중량, specific leaf area 등 지상부 형질에서는 식물종 별로 다양한 바이오폴리머에 대한 반응을 나타냈다. 애기똥풀의 총 건중량과 지상부 건중량은 감소한 반면 타 식물종들은 건중량을 유지하거나 다소 증가시켰다. 반면 대상 식물종들의 뿌리 생장 (뿌리 길이, 지상부 대비 지하부 건중량)은 바이오폴리머가 처리된 토양에서 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 결과로 보아, 본 연구에서 시험된 바이오폴리머는 토양 강화 효과와 함께 자생 식물의 뿌리 생장을 촉진시켜, 제방을 강화시키는 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 그러나 화학물질들에 대한 식물 반응의 종 특이성을 고려할 때, 보다 광범위한 식물종을 대상으로 하는 연구가 필요할 것이다.
作为河川堤坝的土壤稳定化物质之一,目前正在进行使用微生物由来β -葡聚糖和残炭剑系列生物聚合物的研究。本研究的目的是作为生物聚合物新材料的生态性评价的一环,评价生物聚合物对国内河川自生植物种子发芽及生长产生的影响。以洛东江和荣山江自生的9种植物为对象进行试验的结果显示,在发芽率、总干重量、地上干重量、specific leaf area等地上富性状上,根据植物种类,对多样的生物聚合物表现出反应。白菜叶草的总干重量和地上干重量减少,而其他植物的干重量则保持或有所增加。相反,对象植物种类的根生长(根长度,地上部分对比地下部分重量)在生物聚合物处理过的土壤中呈现增加的倾向。从这一结果来看,本研究试验的生物聚合物可以起到强化土壤的效果,促进自生植物的根生长,强化堤坝的作用。但是,考虑到植物对化学物质反应的种类特异性,有必要对更广泛的植物种类进行研究。

지하수위는 자연적 또는 인위적 요인들로 시・공간적 변동성을 나타내게 된다. 지반공학적 측면에서 지하수위의 변동성은 기초구조물의 지지력 감소 및 추가적인 침하 등을 발생시킴으로써 전체 구조물의 안정성 혹은 사용성에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 설계과정에서 적용되는 지하수위는 지반조사 과정 중 현장시험을 통해 측정된 고정 수위를 기반으로 결정되나, 실질적으로 강우조건, 지반의 종류, 도심 포장률 등 다양한 영향인자에 따라 연중으로 변동하는 패턴을 보이게 된다. 본 연구에서는 대부분 인간활동의 영역이 되어 있는 하천인근 지역을 대상으로, 지하수위 변동성과 이에 대한 영향인자를 조사 분석하고자 하며, 이는 궁극적으로 보다 합리적 지반구조물 설계가 가능토록 하기 위함이다. 지하수위 변동이 크게 발생할 것으로 예상되는 도심지역과 도외지역을 대상으로 지하수위변동에 관한 영향요소를 분석하였다. 지하수위 변동은 도심지역과 도외지역의 수문 및 지질 특성에 따라 상이한 양상을 보였으며 변동에 영향을 미치는 인자 또한 대상지역의 지질 특성에 따라 다른 것으로 나타났다.
地下水位因自然或人为因素而呈现时空变动性从地基工程的角度看,地下水位的变动性会导致基础构造物的支撑力减少及进一步下沉等,从而影响整个构造物的稳定性或使用性。设计过程中适用的地下水位是以地基调查过程中通过现场试验测定的固定水位为基础决定的,但实际上会根据降雨条件、地基种类、城市中心铺设率等多种影响因素,在年内发生变动。本研究将以大部分属于人类活动领域的河川附近地区为对象,调查分析地下水位的变动性和对此的影响因素,这是为了最终能够设计出更加合理的地基构造物。以地下水位变动较大的市中心地区和道外地区为对象,分析了地下水位变动的影响因素。据调查,地下水位的变动根据市中心地区和道外地区的水文及地质特性,呈现出不同的面貌,而对变动产生影响的因素也根据对象地区的地质特性有所不同。

Numerical Simulation of Flow Characteristics and Channel Changes with Discharge in the Sharped Meandering Channel in the Naeseongcheon, Korea 内城川陡曲河道流量特性及河道变化的数值模拟

: This study investigates the flow characteristics and bed changes with discharge using a two-dimensional numerical model, Nays2DH. The water depth at the outer part of curved channel is formed deeper from the narrow part after passing through the curved part. The point bar is developed in the wide section and water depth is shallow in the inside of the curved section. The flow is concentrated in the outer pater of the meandering section, which leads to the deep water. In the downstream section where the straight line formed, the flow is concentrated at the center of the bed. Alternating deep water and shallow places are generated due to the continuous formation of meandering. These characteristics are formed by the influence of strong two-stream flow in meandering stream. The dimensionless tractive force is also large in the region where the flow velocity is concentrated. However, in the narrow and sharp meandering river reaches, the pattern of bed changes and the spatial distribution patterns of flow velocity and dimensionless tractive force are inconsistent in the narrow and sharp meandered reaches due to the strong secondary flow.
